These episodes are usually like 6 months behind the app. I had to leave the app. Discovery or whoever runs it has totally just wrecked it over the past couple years. It's all garbage scripted car shows and very little of shows like this, which was what I originally signed up for

Dulcich is the man! I don't think anyone could dislike the guy. Friendly, knows when to let things slide, smart as a whip, and finds enjoyment in even the little things. Dude knows how to make a good time out of anything! We all should be more like Dulcich. #BeDulcich 😂

Never heard about sparkplugs wires causing that issue before. Good to know. I admire Steves knowledge and how he can explain something so it's easy to understand.
Spark plug wires were made with carbon strands to stop interference in the newly installed radios. Since then it's become more critical to stop all the electronics from bouncing untrusted signals. O2 sensors, for example, are very precise and any interference, including poking the lead wire with a test light can throw it all off.

TBH I've run copper core spark plug wires with an MSD6A and never had a problem.
Happened to me.I learned the hard way.
Only Dulcich is allowed to be on camera immediately after getting out of the shower

When disassembling an engine to diagnose possible problems, I NEVER invert the engine to remove the pan. It can drop tell-tale metal shavings and/or chunks from the bottom of the pan. Easier to diagnose if you find stuff where it "naturally" fell.

Hard to tell for sure, but looked like the ARP flywheel bolts were going into holes in the flywheel that had not been properly chamfered for that bolt?

PUSH CLUTCH IN at the finish line. Never let a motor decelerate the car - that's how you stretch rod bolts.
Great shifting. 11.00 is great! Only way to go faster is with a blower or a turbo. Put a light weight steel tube suspension on it? Or does it already have that? Fiberglass hood and doors. Its a ripper. Can you put even more timing in it?
Could have run 10's easily with more launch rpm. Car was bogging at the clutch drop because not enough flywheel weight.

shoot, align bore the mains if you need to, stud the caps for certain, and get any aftermarket 383 crank in there. Plenty of cruising power and less stress with the extra displacement--probably mellow out that top end design anyway and stay with pump gas compression at 377 cid.
I killed an engine with too much silicone in the back valley. Dizzy caught some silicone in install and plugged off oil passage
Ouch.
One reason I went back to using cork gaskets with brown permatex.
I thought it was in the 10's with the 350? The 400 rod/stroke isn't made for rpm. After 6500 the power goes flat and doesn't pull, if you're using 5.56 rods. Unless you already have 5.7 or longer rods.
Somebody makes shims for wide clearance china rails. They work

Why is a light weight fly wheel hard to launch and drive?
Has no intertia, or stored energy .Heavy FW will launch the car without bogging, good shift recovery too
10 to 1 is killing it, that's why wasn't much difference...the 350 was 11 to 1...
Mill those 227s down to get it up to 11 to 1 and it will help the China rail issues too

Man I went to trade school for auto repair in 72 we used to run around in a 68 Dodge charger RT black we came across a built 440 and put it in with a 4-speed I put a larger fuel line on it got it to run 175 mph

you say if you got an engine with that much silicone on it you would question it. I would never buy an engine built by you guys. Period I've seen way to much Jethro Bodine in your Videos.
