Report by RTE Radio 1 investigating the murder of Aidan McAnespie, an innocent 23 yr old Catholic man shot whilst walking to a GAA game on the 21st February 1988 in Aughnacloy, Co. Tyrone, N.Ireland.

Fires in 3 round bursts not single shot....there were no witnesses there at all only an ruc officer.....and the soldier who fired the weapon.....I will testify for really justice.

@@micksuttey6662 Just to correct your facts Mick, gpmg does not have a selective burst mode. It is either cocked, ready to fire and the safety can be applied only when cocked. Trigger cannot be activated with saftey applied. Safe off, squeeze trigger, rounds will be fired at a rate of between 15 and 20 rounds per second until the trigger is released and the sear engages the bolt holding it rearwards or until the ammunition is expended. GPMG is a scary beast for people with minimal training and a formidable suppressive weapon for a competent operator. Unaimed shots could fly leathally for up to 2000yds and ricochets even further.
