- A ballad telling the story of the shooting by Crown Forces of Aidan McAnespie on the 21st of February 1988. Aidan was murdered on his way to play a game of Gaelic Football with his local club Aghaloo O'Neills CLG.

34 years later Guardsman David Holden has been found guilty of negligent manslaughter.
In the dock the judge called him a liar and wished that he had been charged with murder because he would have found him guilty of that too.
34 years and a month and a half too long for the McAnespie family, as sadly John, Aidan's father, passed away recently, when the trial was announced John said that the only thing he ever wanted to see was Holden face justife.
John, Lizzie and their daughter Eilish can now be in peace with Aidan.

Breaks my heart everytime I listen. What a travesty of justice when innocent Irish people can be killed for no reason other than hate. My own wholly innocent first cousin was murdered and NO ONE has been arrested despite the killer's namebeing known.

With respect, whilst Aiden was clearly unarmed and going about his day to day business & this never should have happened, to sing of the murders of those in loughgall & Gibraltar as the same is plain stupid.
They were on operational service and in the theatre of combat so basically, lost those battles 🤷♂️
