Wunderschöne und spannende Aufführung dieser spätromantischen und einzigartig konstruierten Sinfonie mit gut vereinigten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen aller Instrumente. Der dritte Satz klingt echt melancholisch und der letzte klingt wahrlich begeisternd. Der intelligente und unvergleichliche Dirigent leitet das hoch funktionelle Orchester in verschiedenen Tempi und mit perfekt kontrollierter Dynamik. Wunderbar und atemberaubend zugleich!

Nielsen is very underrated....one of the greatest first movements of any symphony, NDR Elbphilharmonie is wonderful, as always!
