It's impressive. The clarity of the attacks, the sound homogeneity within each section of the orchestra... Paavo Järvi intelligently puts in value the right section line behind the melody, but not too much, he distillates amazingly beautiful "breathing" moments, which enable to fully enjoy the power of the lyrical waves, until the very end.
Wow, the sound of the strings is so sweet and comfortable! This is an exemplary sound of what you can do even with the "compressed" sound track delivered to us from TH-cam. Within the limitations of the opus 251 format (highs cut off at 20kHz) the sound is smooth and enjoyable. Oh, and the performance is superb! Dynamic yet delicate. Listen to those pizzicati ! The waltz gave me goosebumps.
