(FYI) If I read the Chinese characters correctly, this was performed by the National Taiwan Normal University (which trains prospective/future high school teachers) Music Department Symphony Orchestra. So, you can imagine the musicians are apparently college students from NTNU's Music Department. I would welcome anyone to correct me or expand on the info. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this admirable performance. I'm glad the conductor decided, for the 2nd movement, to put the two singers on stage (instead of off-stage, invisible to the audience). Had Carl Nielsen (1865-1931) known that a "youth orchestra" from Taiwan (better known probably as "Formosa" in his lifetime) would one day play his third symphony, he most likely would have been very pleased and proud!
Always loved this symphony. Amazing to hear such a fine rendition by such young musicians. Bravo!
if you can't read Chinese, then for your information it's:

Greetings from Medellin, Colombia. This was a masterful performance by these young people from Taiwan. They are all very talented and the director did a fantastic job. Congratulations!!!!
Somebody please correct the English credits here. Clearly that is NOT the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland !!!
This video is of an Asian orchestra, not of an Irish one.
Beautiful performance by a Youth Orch. This my favorite of the six. Excellent playing!
Enjoyed this performance very much. Bravo from Canada.
a wonderfulsymphony
Agree with other commentors. Excellent. But I must give the conductor credit for a masterful rendition. Thank You ! When comes the Fifth Symphony?
And for 1911, Nielsen was way ahead of his time ! Magnificent !
Fine playing and performance. Appropriate to a gentle summer's day in northern Europe, but thank you to these youthful Chinese players and their conductor!
A good very perfomance and in just the "right" tempo.
Fully agree. A favourite of mine as well. Which orchestra is it?
XIE XIE...from Australia!!
