GunZ The Duel is a free to play third person shooter that could've been the best eSport ever but was too ahead of the curve. Learning how to kstyle in GunZ the Duel is very difficult but I certainly welcome the challenge. GunZ has awesome menu music as well as a great OST/soundtrack. Did you know there's a GunZ the Duel 2 as well? I talk about that a little bit lol
This is a Gunz the duel gameplay montage of my improvement over a span of time, made for your entertainment to enjoy. Think of it like a tutorial which includes the butterfly and other pro techniques! Make sure and be careful if you want to download gunz the duel in 2024! Some private servers have a history of being malicious. - เกม
What the hell this is amazing the editing and effort is top tier
Funny seeing you here Big Boss Man G
was that your voice? the server admin?
Uber are you going to play GunZ now :3
WAIT U PLAY GUNZ?! WHAAAAT DAAAA HELLLLLL 😭🙏🏿
yoo wat da uberdanger doing here
This is gonna be the one. To the moon with you Tandori
Do you happen to know why they are doing these DDOS attacks ? also do you know why did fxpGunz got DDOS attacked by M2O Gaming ?
criminally underwatched videos, hoping it goes viral somehow cause its deserved
if you think I'm gonna sit and watch a 59min video about Gunz.... you're goddamn right.
WORTH
learning k-style can be looked at as a life lesson. there are days where u feel like all your efforts have been pointless. but if u keep going u can reach ceilings u never thought u could reach.
>1k subs
>Full production values anyway
You ballin'
ikr
Randomly came across this series just because Gunz came up in a conversation with a friend talking about games we used to play. I'm tremendously impressed by the storytelling and video editing skills you picked up along this journey more so than the K-style.
Can't imagine how long it took to make this video! If you ever need help with 2D art hit me up :D
This video is so amazing - i was hooked from the beginning - the mouse story made me shed a tear
thanks for telling an honest story about our community and where we are, and your own perspective on it all as a new player. without ending it with "the game fell into obscurity" as if we don't still play it lol
I missed this game a lot, played it way back. Loved the VIP mode. Had a lot of respect for the people that could do the kstyle stuff effectively and consistently, I definitely couldn't -- not without something to assist with the controls, which is what I ended up making since at one point you either could or you lost the game. So, I made it a bit more accessible to myself.
Admittedly, I did hack on the game, along with some others that I hanged out with on the game. Though, we kept the more prolific use of disruptive hacks to our own private lobbies and would play normally in public lobbies.
Mostly it was just people tinkering around with the client to see what all could be done and having fun with it without aiming to ruin the game for others. One of my first exposures to assembly (ASM), tbh.
Think I stopped playing when the mass character deletion hacks happened and that kinda killed off the playerbase for the official servers (at least from what I recall). I was never aware of what occurred later on such as other communities / servers being run around the game.
looking forward to the release :)
I came to drip, yet i drowned. -tandori
Quote goes hard
With Gunz apparently making a comeback to steam in an official capacity, I can't wait for the inevitably return of the little mouse that could
I remembering learning reload shots and DBFs such amazing memories
Your storytelling and editing is fantastic. In my 17 years of playing this game I've never seen anything like this. Way to make a relic look fresh. I really loved the use of the character model and animation, as well as the effect with the blue overlay and red and white masked characters. Incredible work, this was such a joy to watch. Thank you!
Hey man I haven't played this game, but I know the nostalgic feeling of us 90s kids when we used to play all day on one game and it was truly special for us , I know most of us here can name a few games that you are very fond of. Thank you for spending the time editing and uploading this video for all of us.
Wow definitely doesn’t expect hearing Barny and uberdanger in the video.
This is such a banger, gunz is my childhood game and I still played it time to time.
Every time I cross a video of GunZ, I wish this era of games came back, the feeling that these kinds of shooters had back then, it was something else, like an off brand, but in a good way, so many good memories with the likes of Point Blank.
incredible shit dude. you are a real diamond in the rough. your videos have an old internet feel to them, being posted without a massive audience and for story telling rather than profit, but with a new more technical video editing flare. truly great work
A ridiculous amount of work this must have taken. The greatest of fedora tips to u good sir
You cooked, arranged the food on the plate, and served it HOT,this might be another video that makes people come back to gunz, hopefully
Man, you LITERALLY got me crying with this editing. So many feelings of nostalgia, I can't even describe how overwhelmingly emotional of a ride this was, and it was great. I didn't know you and didn't think anyone cared enough to invest time crafting such a well done and passionate video. The Duel, as we called it here in Brazil, was probably one of my first games ever. I'm from 1994 and back in the start of the 2000s we started seeing more PC games here in Brazil, but as it has mostly been, these games took a while to get here. Luckily, we had a up and coming star publisher called Level Up! Games, famous por publishing Ragnarok Online back then, who also brought The Duel to national servers, and I remember they issued those gaming magazines that came with a CD inside, and there it was, the first contact with online games of my entire life. The CD was actually an installer containing more than one of the publisher games, and there was The Duel. I played it since so early here, and so did my friends; it was all we had, besides flash games on the internet, and we owned it. I lived so many lifes inside The Duel, and when you said it was a decade and a half old, I was shocked. It feels like yesterday because it was, for me, but not so much for my friends, the best game I have ever played and the best times I have ever had, from official Level Up! Games GunZ to the private servers. I was there. My friends didn't come along for that ride, but I never really felt alone when playing it. Training Town is how I proceeded to spend most of my time when I was playing after official servers came down, which happened earlier here in Brazil by the way. Anyway, growing up life hasn't been easy for me. I'm 30 next year and my depression still gets the best of me, I graduated in 2016 and haven't got a real job since, the ones I tried didn't last more than 6 months and I felt I didn't want to do this anymore. Yesterday I was browsing reddit when it recommended me a post from r/gunz, which then led me to your video. And today, inspired by your story, I came back to share this story of my own. I felt I just had to be real and emotional because that is what you made me feel. Showing a beautiful unseen story from the most unique game and a very unique part of my life in a way I could never. I wish my comment was as well structured as your video script but I hope I got what I was feeling through. The end specially resonated with me, how you said it's never too late to pursue something different, and it clearly shows your love and dedication to the production. Anyways, that was very inspiring and an emotional ride, thank you for dedicating your time and effort so this story can be heard and seen. It may be over, but it will forever live inside our hearts. Thank you. Wishing you all the best.
Hey, I discovered the duel br server this year while I was in Argentina. I've never seen anyone outside of Brazil acknoweldge it. Have you played it? it looks like a great server!
Congrats on making the actual best GunZ content i've ever seen! Your journey was beautiful to experience, and as someone who's never shut up about this game ever since the MAIET era, made emotions well up in my heart with all of the nostalgia and sincerity of this whole thing. Thank you for sharing it all with us. I cannot wait for whatever else you create.
There are no other games like Gunz the Duel and Jedi Outcast/Academy - who were both born in 2003
This was peak cinema I subbed thx mouse
i remember way back in the golden days of gunz, i used to be accused of hacking/cheating quite a bit and even went up against a mod/adm, they wiped the floor with me but concluded i wasnt hacking 🤣🤣
Amazing ty for your time logged in today for first time in 4 years and its still going
I’m really new to the game but your channel and this game are both so damn underrated
Underrated ah youtuber just casually making whole ass full production value movies about a video thats wasnt supposed to exist in a game was supposed to continue existing.
4:38 the overdramatic Indian soap opera editing 😆
Damn son, never expected that kind of a video to pop-up on my feed. Glad you had fun and Im proud of you learning k-style even that many years after game official death.
~random OG International Gunz and later IJJI Gunz player
I never played this game before
However it brings me S4 League nostalgia
Back in 2021 i test gunz 2 but no one play so i got my friend to play with me gunz 2 actually had fun Gunz : the dueal is the best game ive play

This is the most Well put together video watch all your videos on gunz it’s been a journey and I’ll keep watching keep pushing our video amazing work💪🙏
I use to play this game a lot with my friends back in the day. Its really cool seeing you go through your own journey in this game. Keep up the great work!
bro, you can start wall runs in the air by dasshing in at the right angle and double tapping jump. Also you can use the halfstep on the walls (sideways and forward for wall jumping and getting forward momentum. Lastly, theres skillmaps that are obstacle courses. Not knocking your town run just letting you know.
You went crazy with this one dog
I'm glad you found what you were looking for. Thanks for being a part of our history and helping to tell our story. The community shall remember you.
Deadlock is the first game that has a similar feeling to the duels of the past. . . it's no replacement but the skill ceiling is there.
Jesus dude you're amazing this is one of the best TH-cam videos I've ever seen
This was beautiful Tandori, I had no idea how deep the gunz lore went! I felt all kinds emotions watching this.. especially being a late bloomer myself and playing the same games as you growing up (even that platform racing game lol). Don't stop making videos dude!
why don’t they just remaster the damn game. I’ve been trying to get into it myself but the gatekeeping on this game is insane. Great video btw, that fashion show had me rolling
there's a remake on the way called Duelista check it on youtube
I think for GunZ to come back a few things need to happen.
1. The framework that GunZ operates under has DDoS protection.
2. The Netcode will need to no longer be Peer to Peer.
3. GunZ would need official support, which will allow for accounts to have a meaningful account progression system.
4. Areas for legitimately new players to play around on. (Some kind of APM detection to prevent smurfing)
11:16 - LMAOOOOOO i cant believe it's been 3 years since this event i remember seeing it announced but i stayed away for history to take its course didnt want to interfere in the gunz canon
18:45 - LOL its crazy how much scuffed stuff p servers leave in just a reminder we arent gunzs owner just fans pretending
23:45 - LOL hearing a pro voice actor saying "GunZ" all serious is hilarious
34:47 - the G.O.A.T.
40:00 - LOL
43:00 - love this edit segment, could be re-used for a tiktok edit EASILY
51:39 - LOL
52:00 LMAO this was the weirdest era ngl
58:35 YOOOO BEAUTIFUL GUnZ COVER
Huge banger video hilarious yet interesting. The editing is godlike
don't quit gunz bro your videos are good :(
the amount of time that went into this.. thank you tandori for providing me with a one of kind experience revolving around a one of a kind game, you truly are a talented & awesome human being. Good news though, mechanics from a game can not be claimed IP unless directly taken from the source code, GunZ will live on, & soon enough have a new game, as far as I know there already people doing it (GunZ remakes). A very promising one duelista, which is a small dev team of GunZ enjoyers who are actually decent people, there is also project reloaded, but that gosu is heavily involved with taht, & from my understanding he's controversial, none the less I believe that there will come a time, when people who learned to play or found gunz late like us, will realize that learning the game was for not when it as a successor, & I'm positive that time will without a doubt come, once again thank you tandori for making such great content!
maybe someone says it alrdy ut, dummies on freestyle is a chat command to
Ah yes one of the games that messed up my wrists lol
LETS GET READY TO ROCK!
easily one of the best youtube series I've watched, this has inspired me to learn k-style

Incredible work. Thank you for all of the effort that went into chronicling this saga and for putting so much time into its conclusion without sparing effort or detail. Congratulations on achieving your goals!

Ok but the Bollywood Drama reference was so spot on 🤣
I'm your 1 thousandth sub, your quality of content is insane. And you're hilarious lmao LOVE YOUR VIDS!!
If a new guns like game comes out I’ll go back to it . Someone just had to make it first
Great video, learned a fair bit that I never knew about GunZ and the whole private server fiasco. I was too young to truly understand anything about it when I was playing but it's very interesting looking back. Thanks for the nostalgia hit
Nice to see the lore. I was wondering how there was 300+ players online in FGunz because I'm pretty sure there were less when I played 7+ years ago. It seemed like a lot but I didn't know there was a nostalgic Gunz video that went viral.
That editing software looks scary.. Cracking video, loved it :) and I thought I put a ton of work into my stupid lil gunz documentary :')
all of ur vids are fking amazing, keep putting gunz out there and keep doing your style
Me literally practicing Jtap in a training room on FGunz randomly coming across this video lol.
Damn good job on this video
Congratz for taking the time to make this video, I edit videos myself, and I can tell this took a hell of a time
Stupidly good video, its incredible the amount of work that went into this. You're one of the few reasons that made me want to start playing. Thank you very much.
