Hi, I always love your reviews, they are very informative. Do you like this machine, or any other super automatic machine more than the Breville Oracle or the Breville Touch. I feel like the Oracle and the Touch would make better tasting espresso for cappuccinos and the milk frothing would come out better. Am I correct? I am trying to decide what kind of espresso machine to buy, so any advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hi, yes, you are right. Traditional drip coffee and espresso based coffee are extracted using quite different methods so it's rare to see a machine that does both. There are some espresso machines that try to mimic a traditional drip brewer but it's not exactly the same. Many people make Americanos to get coffee that is most akin to regular drip, that's adding water to espresso.
