Which Era of the Wild boss was your favorite? Mine's gotta be... the top banana man. Besides Ganondorf, of course!
Maybe the Igneo Talus, I think that one’s pretty cool!

Awesome video

You got the motives wrong. Ganon was jealous of Zelda's plan to get a master perm, so he stole the secret stone with the hopes of learning recall so he could unset Zelda's master perm, but his dye job caused his hair to burn instead, thus seeking revenge on Hyrule.
True
Nah bro, you’re wrong. Ganondorf hates hyrule because he hates the fact that he’s into furries (rauru) but furries (again, rauru) aren’t into him.😂
Yyyyyeereeersssssd
That’s crazy
If link made your biscuits, checking for rocks is a valid concern...
31:32 This may be a bit headcanon-ish, but I feel like Ganon didn't punch Sonia, but broke her back with a single push, allowing her to see what happened for a short while before eventually dying.
That was really the most DEVIOUS backshot
The geoglyph that you find this memory is a dagger.
@@kuktryne9293 I always imagined it meant the dagger that fake zelda threw at them before he did the thing
@@phoenixair11 it can be both
I don't think Sonia died in that scene cause Sonia and raru hadn't had kids yet thus Sonia couldn't have died yet because there would be no one to carry on the bloodline that led to zelda.

As a southerner, I understand deep within my being the nuances of biscuits and their all-important toppings.
I like your Ganondorf theory, it’s very creative and out of the box thinking. However I do think that the fact that it’s Ocarina of time that says a male is born every 100 years and the fact that OoT takes place several hundred years after the previous Zelda title would imply that several other males have been Gerudo kings, most probably without them trying to take over Hyrule. I propose a counter idea, that Twinrova is a single person that can split into two personalities. She could be Ganondorf’s real mother as a single entity that then split into two. Or she could have been twin Gerudo women that merged themselves to mother Ganondorf with their combined magic power. Or the green skin could be a side effect of the type of magic they wield and they taught Ganondorf to wield the same magic which turned his skin green, rather than it always being green.
Another thing is if twinrova could reincarnate, then why in breath of the wild does it mention that a gerudo male hasn't been born for sometime.
I find it funny how you say that gloom may be more red due to Ganon's own blood being in it only for that to be the description of totk Phantom Ganon
Colgera has to be one of my TOP 3 favorite bosses in all of Zelda ESPECIALLY ToTK, as a Wind Waker fan I've never in my life wanted to cry more then I did fighting colgera.
I agree the music was great, however I feel like the boss fight itself is one of the worst 3D Zelda bosses. It hardly attacks at all and can be killed in under 30 seconds with just 6 arrows. IMO it’s worse than any of the skyward sword bosses that everyone disliked because of how easy and predictable they were. Tentalus was a much better boss than Colgera even with its giant eye that obviously needs to be shot with the bow, and it was mocked ruthlessly.
@@Faint366 I can agree with that. I feel like for me I had such a great time with the theme song and everything else that I didn't mind the boss being as easy as it's ancestor molgera.
@@Faint366Try staying diving through its holes from above instead of using arrows. It’s way more fun that way, I don’t know why more people don’t do it. It might even be the “intended” way.
Funny, I thought Colgera was one of the most fun bosses in the series. I didn’t use a single arrow against him. I spent the entire fight in the air and killed like a skydiver. That boss was amazing. Sorry that you killed him the boring route but your experience objectively make him bad
@@eyebotthegreat I believe it is, I wish instead of give people the option to just shoot it's weak spots make it so you HAVE to drive through it. As anyone with good aim can easily kill the boss and move on, taking away the fun of the whole boss.
Im ready to listen to this audiovisual masterpiece.
I’ve always had the little theory that Ganondorf is just a reincarnation of Groose that demise latched onto. With Groose reincarnating as a Gerudo instead of a Hylian because he was likely the founder of the Gerudo, with his yellow eyes and red hair. Perhaps Demise just preferred incarnating as beings most closely related to the goddess of power. Though maybe the rounded ears has more to do with the incarnation of Demise itself refusing to have Hylian ears which are connected with Hylia.
Ganondorf: tries to kill link.
Link: LOL, I JUST RESPWN EVERYTIME!
31:30 Neat, so Warlock Punch is canon now.
I wouldn't call Demise's "curse" a curse, more like a forewarning of sorts. Demise basically said his hatred is unquenchable, not even death could destroy it. That's all that's left of Demise, basically, his hatred, and it may be what manifests as Malice or Gloom.
Honestly thinking about it... It's kinda like Nintendo soft rebooted the Legend of Zelda series... Doesn't this pattern seem... Just a little familiar?
That's basically what happened, yeah. By setting the events of BotW and TotK into the distant future where all previous games have faded into myth, while also refusing to place them on an established branch, it is basically them saying that this is a fresh start. All the other games still canonically happened, it's just that now we're so far detached from those events that few of them have much impact on the story going forward. It's honest a pretty clever way to keep making whatever Zelda stories they want without being confined to the established continuity. The next game will probably also follow suit and be only loosely related to BotW/TotK so that Nintendo may tell a different story in a different setting without having to make it fully match up with Breath and Tears, unless we get a prequel.
yeah that is what i theorized too, but its an alternate reality parallel timeline
Its all but confirmed but pretty much yes I agree. I feel like past events that happened in the Era of Myth will be repeated again in the Era of the Wild albeit in a different way. Like I see the events of OoT being retold again with obvious differences from the OG OoT (think FF7 Remake/Rebirth)
Solid video. I like to think the Glleeocks came from the Depths from the Gleeock den location located in the Depths and were released when the Depths were opened during the Upheaval.
The Wild Era has been quite the ride. I wonder how they will top it.
Theory!!! (Not really but a fun thought) Moldorms are baby Molduga! It has been thousands of years between TP and ToTK
monks: goes to dust
maz koshia: no U
A nice lore thing Nintendo did was make sure monsters look like the current demon king. They looked like Oni when Demise was the demon king and then they became more piggish when Ganon took over.
This video really gave me hope that future Zelda open air titles will maybe adapt the enemy monsters as actual tribes of friendly characters. Like imagine actually finding a Lynal tribe or friendly bocoblins that just got banished from Hyrule for association.
I generally think you could do a lot with that kind of thing and that would be an excellent way of introducing more tribes.
And lore wise…throw it out the window lol. I’m all about if it makes a better game, do it.
Someone either watched Live Among Bokoblins, or is a fan of the Lurkers in Jak & Daxter 2. 🎮
The Zora were enemies in the first game, but over several games became allies. Even in the first game there is a friendly moblin that asks you not to reveal his location to anyone.
While not canon to the primary storylines, I was hoping to see boss explanations from Age of Calamity. Would be interesting to see the connections to the primary world, even if it was more like a hypothetical turn of events instead of another verified time split.
As for Twinrova driving the threatened reincarnations of Ganondorf, I personally love that theory. Curses similar to Demise’s, potentially like in our own reality, always hold a blatant sense of vagueness so there’s nothing stopping such possibilities from being the direct causes. It even becomes better to stay vague to allow different options to occur so the curse isn’t locked out by single sided technicalities at any given moment. As long as there is a possible stand-in for each Zelda (goddess), Link (hero), and Ganondorf (demon), then the curse can still manifest in some way. Koume and Kotake being active catalysts would most certainly be an awesome plot addition to the cycle.
another explanation for Koume and Kotake being 'surrogate mothers' could be that they're Gandondorf's older sisters which have been tasked with raising him, this would explain why they have the same skin colour. Also the green skin could also stem from some sort of Zonai bloodline as they have they green toned skin as well, which would give a bit of credence to why Ganondorf dislikes Rauru, because Rauru is likely a pure blooded Zonai meant to be an heir, and if Ganondorf is only a half blood he was cut from the line of succession and is angered by his full blooded relative getting what he wanted. Ganondorf's rounded ears here then could possibly be either a birth trait of his non Zonai parent or his ears were cut when he was younger as a way to say he is not full Zonai and not in the line of succession, which would then lead to Koume and Kotake being tasked with essentially being his guards to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid, but then they clearly get persuaded by Ganondorf to aid in his hatred. Like seriously I've read quite a few manga/manhwa about the illegitimate children of rulers, it does fit even if it does seem out there.
That Ganondorf theory actually makes sense wow!!!
It took a lot of convincing to tell my friends that lynels can teleport. It scared the living hell out of me in my first play though
Volvagia is also from Zelda 2, and some theorize that Valoo is related to Volvagia as well.
Somebody could create possibly like a family tree or something with all the bosses that are in some way related to or derived from one another. The Moldorm, Molgera, & Colgera could be another set (though the Molgera & Colgera _feel_ like they're more related to the Lanmola than the Moldorm).
I definitely agree with the totk hyrule founding being after all the others, its something I've been saying since I first played totk
Love the long form videos. Well... I enjoy all of your content. But the deep dive and longer form video are my preference. Cheers!
26:50 actually have an explained in french gloom actually corrupted the pru'ah pad and when you interact with the construct head in the sky i guess mineru influence over gloom was stronger and it means that the "place" i'm talking about in the sky is actually where mineru liked the most in her childhood having so much memory here was actually a reason to get back control for her voice
What you wrote here can barely be called english.
Honestly I’m down to believe the idea of Twinrova being in the same Demise Curse cycle that Ganon, Link, and Zelda are in, mainly because I would love that to be an excuse to bring them back as a boss more
Well the fact that they appear in this cutscene, OoT, the Oracle games, and somewhat mentioned in WW, which are supposed to be 4 different Ganondorfs, makes this theory kinda work
Baby hinox would be scary
i like how you did a cool in game thing when you start to talk about the hinox and stone talus and then... 4:11 perfection
When I was going through the throne room scene. Idk why it popped in my head that this was the same scene from Ocarina of time. And that the original Zelda from OOT is the daughter of Rauru and Sonia. But I guess there are several holes in this theory.
i think moldugas are natural because of how they are presented in totk and the characters reaction to them
Awesome Video Bro.
Gracias por todos los videos!-)
Heyy ^^
Great vid
You got me! I thought there was gonna have to be a part two!
We love you bandit, thank you!!!!!

Tomato sauce has left the chat
about the froxes, i awalys think they are a misture betwen the dodongos and gekko from mm or deku toad from tp, due to they visuals and behaviuors. just a thougth but i realy like that concept
I got so sad about the master Kohga quest because I was still under the impression that Ganondorf's "I have a big scary rock" form was demise, and when Kohga said he was reviving an ancient weapon to aid the demon king, I had wrongly convinced myself that he was talking about Ghirahim, and when it was just a rehash of the seized construct fight, I got really bummed lol
I'm just getting back into Zelda. The last game I completed was Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on N64 like 20+ years ago. I started back playing Tears of the Kingdom on my kid's Switch...probably should've started with Breath of the Wild.
Love this stuff
I don't know if anyone else has the same theory as I do, but I think that the Queen Gibdo was a Queen. More specifically, the Gerudo Queen when Ganondorf was the Gerudo King. My main evidence for this is the place where you fight the Queen Gibdo is the Lightning Temple. Considering the fact that the design of the Lightning Temple is very obviously inspired by the ancient pyramids of Egypt, it seems likely that it served the same purpose as a tomb for Gerudo royalty. Since Ganondorf was a such a bad guy and was imprisoned under Hyrule Castle, he certainly couldn't be interred in the Lightning Temple. But what is a King without a Queen? King Ganondorf had to have a Queen, likely a Gerudo woman considering the fact that in the memory where Ganondorf is feigning an alliance with Rauru he comments on the fact that Rauru has taken a Hylian as his queen and not someone who is seemingly on the same level as Rauru is or a Zonai. The relationship that Ganondorf had with his queen was probably one of "requirement" instead of one of love, where Ganondorf simply took the strongest Gerudo warrior as his bride against her will. Then, when the Gerudo betrayed him during the Imprisoning War, he would have an extreme grudge against the Gerudo people and would want to punish them for their treasonous acts. This leads into the Queen part, cause I think that the Queen Gibdo is the reanimated and corrupted corpse of Ganondorf's queen. Considering the fact that we can encounter Gibdos in the Arbiter's Grounds and the Underground Gerudo Cemetery in the Depths after we defeat the Queen Gibdo, Ganondorf is trying to defeat the Gerudo with the sins of their past. And what better way of doing that than with the corrupted corpse of the one who betrayed Ganondorf. I think that Ganondorf's queen is the ancient sage that helped imprison Ganondorf all those years ago as an ultimate betrayal. And as a way to do an ultimate punishment for his queen, he corrupted her corpse into a hideous form of an insect.
31:21 my dude’s never heard of a dagger apparently
Yes, Jordan. You're very weird, and we adore you for it. Keep being awesome, and keep putting out great videos!
The king ghidorah reverence was BEAUTIFUL
One thing I've always wondered is why gloom/darkness is soo much more powerful than light. Like the literal sage of light is barely holding up against the newly born "sage" of darkness. Who is just got his powers. And raises entire armies of monsters in seconds compared to a guy who can just a little shield in defense.
What if at a certain point, the timelines merged back into one and the Ganondorf we see in the Wild era is actually the same one from Windwaker unsealed by the removal of the Master Sword?
I do notice some stylistic similarities between this Ganondorf and WW. More of an oriental, robed design than the typical armored look.
He could've awoken after a while, thanks to the Triforce of Power and maybe even had some memory loss? Returning to his homeland and starting all over in his attempt to conquer Hyrule for the Gerudo.
Stone talus:😈
Hinox:😈

Guardian: I’m too good to be here🍺🗿
As someone from Louisiana the biscuit analogy hits close to home.
i always found it interesting that Colgera looked more like Gohma, from Dragon Roost Cavern, which Happened to also be where the Rito lived, and now there's something in a similar segmented body also plaguing the Rito....toss in the fact that the theme itself is a huge remix of Dragon Roost Islands' theme had me thinking "Oh yeah we back" lmao thats just my own opinion tho i know theres one literally named Gohma, but what if Colgera was just a splinter off, like a part that evolved differently?
I think the bosses should drop the same thing (in addition to the Heart Container) that they drop when defeated in the depths when you defeat them in their dungeon.
Molduga are just dangerous animals that live in hyrule. Ganondorf, before he turns demon king, sends a horde of molduga to attack Raru, so they can't manifest malace because malace didn't exist at that time
If you ask me Ganondorfs birth mother is twin rova the woman koume and kotake fused into and his father is a man from another land because if you look at twilight princess there are regular people with round ears outside of the gerudo
you forgot that the gleeok already appeared on the switch as gleeokenspiel in cadence of hyrule (even though its non-canon)
Omg i need that book!
Always a fan of longer content.
Ok, little theory on the placement of BOTW/TOTK
What if the Hyrule we see Zelda go to take place some time after the war mentioned in SS between Demise & Hylia and some time BEFORE SS happens?
Basically I'm saying that *Sonia is one of, if not the first reincarnations of Hylia*. This idea can explain why the Zonai aren't seen by the Hylians that live in skyloft, and how the first king of Hyrule rediscovered the land.
Also an idea, normally when someone in real life gets a new body part or organ the body can reject it, but Link seems alright receiving Rauru's arm, obviously this can mean his body isn't rejecting the arm but why? It's a complete chunk of Zonai and the two are completely different races.
What if BOTW/TOTK'a link is descended from the Zonai similarly to Zelda, just not royalty. The ancient hero could be the last of Link's Zonai/Hylian ancestors and, maybe his ancient ancestors done something similar to Rauru where they came down from the sky islands and married a ancient Hylian. Maybe Link still carries a few Zonai-like properties, maybe unusually sharp teeth or an inability to get sick from raw meat/stronger immune system, hence why he was fine eating the rock roast in AOC. Maybe Link has better vision in the dark than the average Hylian.
Idk just some rambling ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Good theory tbf.
In my opinion, the cutscenes take place between SS and the first Hylian King (Gustaf). The Zonai would already be almost extinct by the end of SS (and perhaps evolved into the Ooccoos who knows). Rauru unified the Gerudo, Zoras, Ritos, and Gorons along with the Hylians - who didn't have a king yet but rather an oligarchy made of the descendants of the Academy members. We can guess that this must have happened after SS because the Gorons had already migrated from Lanayru to Eldin. After the death of Rauru, his son Gustaf would become king; but the other races of Hyrule would feel left out by that Hylian king, so the Gerudo and Zoras go to war against the Hylians and Gorons. The latter lose and are confined to what will later be known as Akkala.
Seems like an oversight for Ganondorf not to have Dale Gribble pocket sand to Bully Maguire ol' Three Eyes Rauru. He does come from the desert after all
If your theory about Twinrova is true, where have they been this entire time?
You would think at some point they would reincarnate again and do their best to revive Ganon/break Rauru's seal early over the last 10,000 years. They arent found in BOTW or TOTK other than the past.
34:17 this part sounds too funny when you have a dirty mind already 💀💀💀
Kinda find it funny Ganondorf decided to pull a Ronald Regan for the Gorons in ToTK.
Tbh, I always thought Kogha in Age of Calamity was BotW’s Kogha’s grandfather
Don’t act like we aren’t eating bug secretions every time we eat Doritos
Gannon could literally clap his booty cheeks and Hyrule would collapse right then and there
literally so true 🫡
In Jojo there's character that gets killed by the main antagonist via a punch through the stomach. So Ganon's didn't surprise me. It's his strongest move in Smash after all.
In Botw Maz Koshia and Calamity Ganon. Wasnt a fan of the blight ganons. Lynels are a challenge but fun as well.
In Totk, i love fighting Gleeoks, Colgera, and of course Ganondorf/Demon Dragon
Cheese pizza is perfect, thank you very much!
i would love to see a Lore of all The Ganondorf's
*spoilers for totk*
Moldugas are most likely not naturally made of malice as theres a dragon tear where Ganon is still Ganondorft and he uses a flute to send them to attack rauru to which rauru blast them with a beam of light and their bodies dont fade away and explode like enemies made of malice seem to do
Could twinrova and ganondorf have green skin because of some gerudo magic like as a result or something
Me, just causally watching this in the background as I’m grading, looks up and sees freaking DRAGON GANONDORF Me: AHH! NO! SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!
3:27 what is this rainbow laser in the background?
Fun fact the blights are shard if clamity gannon
In my opinion, era of the wild is really taking place after three of them. it really can be happened after three of them
First, it has elements from the three timelines, which is would be weird if you are not thinking about it deeply. it is impossible that the timeline is combined
So some places from twilight princess exist, that impossible to be exist in windwaker timeline. like bridge hylia and arbiter ground. if totk is happened after spirit track, those places or even some things in twilight princess might be happened in that timeline after the game of spirit track.
So, in twilight princess timeline, it is weird that totk happened, because there is no flood and no rito too of course. but it is the same, the flood can be happened after the story of the last thing happened in that timeline in hyrule hystoria.
The downfall timeline is getting the most non-significant elements which is just the same scenery and clothes from the original legend of zelda. but the same thing as in other timeline can also be happened in this timeline
Whichever the timeline is, before the even in totk, hyrule was destroyed and being rebuild like in story of rauru and sonia. I think, sonia is actually zelda, but since hylians are living in the wild now, she is blended in the tribe where hylian living
And my crazy theory about rauru is, he is the descendant of rauru like in ocarina of time. so maybe after that rauru reincarnated and becoming sage again that guarding sacred realm again, an event is forcing him to eat his own sage stone. after that, in dragon form he has childs, and they are zonai. I believe this is why zonais are worshipping dragon and believe that they are the descendant of gods
The name rauru that the furry rauru has, maybe coming from ancestor's name. it is common for human to name their child as the name of their ancestor
Colgera also looks a lot like twinmold from mm
one question: is the battle talus a boss created by ganon or is it jsut an extention of the normal talus bosses from BOTW?
Not probable but what if kotake and koume stayed as twinrova, was impregnated by a demon of demise’s lineage and gave birth while joined together? Would make a little more sense than two moms…
Not mums but rather caretakers
Hate to make this theory probable that it is in the future of the fallen timeline. This high rule in tears of the kingdom and breath of the wild is an island, and it is surrounded by water.
I assumed that since their queen is just a bug this version of the gibdo were just parasitic insects that infest and manipulate corpses and they themselves were not undead.
Is marbled ghoma making the marbled rock roast
I wish we got age of calamity videos
While we have the best Boss battle/Best version of Ganondorf we have today, it sucks that Nintendo didn’t bother to put a new look of Twinrova in Tears of the Kingdom.
Since Kotake and Koume made brief appearances in the Dragon Tears and Ganondorf’s weapon are written in the inscription of their names, fans are hoping to another great boss battle! Along with additional cutscenes that give more in depth to the Demon King’s roots and how he mastered the Gloom under his Surrogate Mother’s wings.
But that later became a wasted opportunity when Nintendo announced a few months back that there’s no DLC in this game. I hope they’re lying. They keep things very secretive. Hopefully there is an World Premiere announcement in tomorrow’s Game Award.
The Maz Koshia boss fight was super amazing until you get to the 2nd phase and then it kinda takes the real fun out of it
“The melty butter”
"I didn't wake this one up because they're a pain to fight." Are they though...?
We know the ore deposit like weak point isnt a heart because of tears of the kingdom shows its heart and it looks different
Phantom Gannon originated in link 2
Not the MP4 lololol
"ORE? make their bodies out of molten rock or frozen rock" I'm sorry
But… where did the shrines and guardians go? Every trace of the ancients were overrun by zonai
Great video!
You didnt shit over TOTK this time. Yeyy.
When you were talking about the Talus’, HOW IN THE NAME OF HYLIA DID YOU GET + VERSIONS OF CHAMPION ABILITES
Also why are one of the divine beasts in gaming mode
DLC 2
@@robo-dog6569 so I’m guessing every time you beat a blight Ganon in the AOC memories it upgrades the respective champion’s ability.
YEAAAAHHHH
34:10 do you mean his coom
Why is it that Master Kooga is much more better written than Ganondorf? That is what I find it a bit bizarre.
It’s time to accept that botw and totk are a reboot. And that’s great
Dude its the kings body
Hey Bandit, I'd like you to consider the following theory: the Gorons of Ocarina of Time are responsible for Ganondorfs plan.
The Fire Temple clearly isn't of Gorin design. It looks more like Gerudo, complete with jails and Gerudo blocks. The original track was a Muslim chant, which is fitting for the Moor-inspired Gerudo. The Gorons don't have a diety; Volvagia was actively eating them back in the day, and he/she looks like they would fit in to Gerudo culture. Then there's the location. Previous games had Spectacle Rock in the desert. So, the Gorons murdered the Gerudo diety and kicked them out of their home. This explains Ganondorfs hate-on for the Gorons and how he knew about Volvagia. He wanted to use the Triforce for his people, as said in Wind Waker, which I don't think was a lie. I've never seen anyone say this, but it makes so much sense!
