    Hi can you tell me if the hardware connection would be any different with the mc-101 instead of the 707

      Hi, probably the best thing to do is to download and check 101 manual, because the software is the same but I'm not so sure for midi setting options. I can tell you that 101 hasn't external input or send/return as 707, neither a 2nd midi output for more instruments to slave but all the other settings should be the same.✌🏻

    can you change pattern on mc707 from digitone?

      Sorry but I don't think so. But you can control Mc707 instruments with Digitone and so use its step sequencer to build melodies directly to Digitone patterns. Regards✌🏻
