Tom - don't underestimate Mr Shonk there! The real value of this troll is his massive 11hp for 5 magic - and those 8 dice average out at about 3 to 4 hits per attack (keep Grognack close for re-rolls though!) That's great value for money...er.....magic!
Just watching these videos now because I’m new to Summoner Wars. I’ve heard Tom say “4 range” a number of times when talking about ranged attacks. Doesn’t the number at the bottom represent how many dice you’re rolling and not the range?
So, there's no way to get Tundra Orcs or Phoenix Elves apart from buying the starter edition? That kind of stinks as I've already got the Master Edition. I don't need more tokens, another board, more dice. I just want the decks.
I was confused at first as well. There is the new 2nd edition video that came out awhile ago, this is a two-faction starter kit, so a slightly different product.
The starter set is just what you need to play a two player game. It’s cheaper, has a paper board and contains two new factions you can add to the master set if you wish to demolish the box.
I'm envious of Tom's tropical winter look 😆 Snow, snow, go away
Ouch! That smash ...
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I love it! I'm assuming he's keeping everything in the master set box.
It's like a punch right to the soul 😆
that poor box...😂

Thanks for putting the link to the core game review in the description. ! You may not realise how much it actually does help!
holy smokes, that dice tower brute smash xD
Love the artwork in this game.
You just made me scream out loud at the box smash! "Oh No! TOMMMMM!"
Anyone know why they got rid of the ice walls for the Tundra Orcs?
@@heroprime7599 Oh right....well they could have ice "gates". That might be even cooler.
maybe because ice walls is now an intellectual property of the icy faction of the master set box ^^
That box smash was amazing!
Thanks for your review 🙂
I've never been a big fan of the Tundra Orcs either. Too swingy and reliant on good dice rolls. Phoenix Elves, on the other hand, are 🔥🔥🔥
Where did you get the updated tokens?
I think those are Fantasy Flight Games Gaming Tokens. They come in different colours.
I wish mercenaries were in every box, and not just the first print. Is it so hard to have consistent box content.
So if I were to buy it now there wouldnt be mercenaries in there??
@@nouryoussef1459 Unless it's a box from the first print, apparently no.
And how would we know which print it is LOL
@@ABIGPLAN ?
@@nouryoussef1459 by buying it, opening it, and seeing if the promos are among the cards inside.

Sorry, that's my slang. I'll say a "4 Ranged attack" when I mean you roll four dice as a ranged attack. My apologies for being unclear.
@@thedicetower no worries at all and thank you for the response!
Can somebody give me a decklist for these factions? Thanks.

The set is cheaper than buying 2 individual decks. Plus you get those extras.
That uninked, clean arm.
Considering the current climate, all the talk about boosted and unboosted cracks me up.
Poor box...
Poor box got smashed hard...
Well you just throw that one away. Add it to the master box.
Again? I feel like I've seen this video (about 2nd edition) before

Shame, I didnt like the cartoony art before, dont like it now either.
