Vanity, oh vanity upon vanity. Most of the actors are dead and the living ones are languishing with guilts and regrets. Mr Kola thanks for sharing, quite insightful. The entire story is littered with so many lessons. One major lesson: SYSTEM IS INSANELY, INSANELY POWERFUL. A bad system will always beat a good person every time.
I’m so humbled and happy that I watched this interview and I really learned so much from kola. I watched Abdul interview with seun okinbaloye and I was having a different perspective towards kola. But now I can who kola is truly is . More blessings to you kola Abiola
Most happy to listen to this interview. I'll continue to cherish all what I have heard for a very long time to come. He could not have been anybody else but the Son of that Man (MKO) who in death still remain someone in my mind.
Dele and Kola, you are great patriots. I love you both.God bless you abundantly, I enjoyed the entire discussion and learnt a lot from both of you at 76 .Dele Giwa was my great friend.
Kola Abiola is very different from most of the other spoilt kids of Nigerian politicians. Kola is very humble, strong, hardworking and a visionary leader. He did his best to manage his father’s legacy and he will forever remain an hero. We need Kola in a leadership position in Nigeria. Thank you for this insightful interview, God bless you
Thanks Dele for this emotional & tearful interview We lost a rear gem i tell you, MKO and his likes are not easily come by in a nation like ours What a carbon copy of a great icon (MKO), you are Kola? Though i have not met you personally, i once came to your GRA Ikeja with one of your old time friends (Ladi) but was waiting in his car and that would have been the first time that year. Dear Kola, i must say you truly have a great task of building on your farher's legacies and brands. You and your siblings couldn't have had it better with your upbringing and humble background.I want to believe if your dad was to be born today with the current economic situation,he would still strive. You really cannot let his lagacy die and by now,and i do understand the challenges you have in Nigeria, you should grow his brand at the world stage. No excuses for not doing that.We should by now be hearing Abiola brand in some countries of the world and keeping it alive for future Abiola generations to continue with. An Abiola business conglomerate of some sort.
Can't remember the last time I was patient enough to watch a lengthy interview. Kola really wowed me. Never knew the man is this intelligent. May God forgive some of us that judge others from afar. Like the motto of one of his great work (Salawu Abiola Comprehensive High School), MKO lived his life for God and humanity. May his shortcomings be forgiven by Allah and may his soul continue to rest in peace. Thank you uncle Dele Momodu for this exciting and insightful interview
Thanks Dele Momodu for playing a devils advocate especially encouraging Kola Abiola to speak at this time. Many people love MKO and were not happy the way Abiola legacy were becoming but not many people understood the implications of MKO going into politics and eventually his death. Thanks Kola for accepting to do this interview and please jebure and keep the family together because your Dad legacy is love and humanity. God bless you Kola and Dele for making the future MKO great , Amen
I seriously await Kola Abiola's book. You are a man and a half. Your dad is proud of you. I have also believed in the danger of a one sided story. God bless you, Kola
I watched this interview, full of emotion & empathy. The last part brought tear to my face as Cheif Momodu expressed gratitude to Chief Kola Abiola. Chief MKO has created a big vacuum not only in Nigeria but in d whole of Africa Continent that nobody has never been able to fill. MKO was a legend.
It's so unfortunate & sad ! So, Mr. Kola went through all these/those things & some people were busy spreading rumors about him (i.e. Mr. Kola) contrary to what actually happened
I always knew Mr. Kola Abiola to be a very intelligent man but this interview is very revealing and deeper than a lot of people can comprehend. I think every Nigerian youth should watch and listen to this interview. Specifically the latter part regarding the Nigerian political system.
WOW! One of the most insightful interview everly watched, in my life. Really enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you so much uncle Dele. May God Almighty continue to rest/bless departed souls...amin🤲
I met Chief Kola Abiola during the 1993 election in his Anthony Village residence. I went with one Baba Lainite from Ibadan. I remember vividly it was a day after his wife gave birth to their second baby.
Mr Kola Abiola, you are the son of your father and I believe it was because you washed his hands all through MKO's life. God bless you real good sir and Mr Dele Momodu, thanks for being who you are...the son of your guardian MKO Abiola. God bless you sir
Mr. Kola Abiola could not have had it better with his siblings, there is no way he could have satisfied everybody, he did his best and left the rest for God but most importantly satisfied his conscience. I had the opportunity to meet him once in 2005 when I wanted to travel to England for my masters, I was introduced by Dr. Wura his little sister, I wanted some counselling from him and he didn't dissapoint me, most importantly he wa svery humble and homely.
I used to know Mr. Kola's daughter (Labake) and the day she died it was devastating. I remember I was in her mom's shop (Elephant house) ilupeju... Very respectful hmmm may her soul continue to rest in perfect peace..
