Yes he gave a strong point ....even for. A 35 years old to own property an apartment or a duplex it's crazy expensive....so credit will help, mortgage payment will help
@@edenoasis I think it would work. I do think with high cost of living and low wages in Nigeria it’s going to cut off a lot of people who need it most.
Not so fast. 98% of the population don't earn enough to repay mortgages and the interest rates are too high. We need to get the basics right before expanding consumer credit and mortgage. Of course we do have mortgages in Nigeria but it's limited because the economy is in shambles, electricity is absent, business regulations are still horrible, corruption is sinking the country and the rule of law is non existent. We need to fix all of these so that businesses can thrive before we talk of expanding consumer credit and mortgage. I'm not saying the whole country has to be developed, but the basics need to be put in place first
In the 1970’s+ the Federal Mortgage Bank was in existence and effective. Nigeria is a rudderless country where institutions do not work because those manning such institutions can make decisions without recourse to legislature which is equally and majorly a collection of comics.
Regretfully, that is a self-centered way of living that only serves his own interests. I've read and heard about a lot of billionaires, but there isn't anything at all about Sir Mike Adenuga, which is unfortunate.
@@TheChariot99But all Donald Trump’s life he has always be showmanship, always at the center of action. And he became successful. So people life styles, and operational ways are different. Let people be who they are. If Adenugu is a quiet man, Dangote or Governor Adeleke of Ekiti state may not be the same. But they are all successful.
Exactly my thought. Podcasts are meant to be educative. It's not a TV program with commercials interrupting the flow of thoughts of the guest. Thisbis absolutely phenomenal.
First time listening to full interview with this man makes me change my orientation about him. Chief Dele Momodu,I respect you, you're an achiever. Hope I may have opportunity to meet you. RESPECT!!!
I’m still perplexed and it was such a delight listening to Mr. Dele Momodu. He’s story is a story every Nigerian and African should listen to. He’s hungry, tenacious and ambitious and it all paid off. I couldn’t be more happier when he kept emphasizing on integrity and his quest for a more functional society in Nigeria. I tip my hat to you, sir. May God continue to bless you more abundantly. To you, Confidence, thanks for another insightful podcast.
My humble brother, Dele, you are an inspiration. This is your best work yet. You are very humble, approachable, and selfless in your answers to the questions. Thank you, sir, for making us proud.
What an inspiring story of a man who rose from humble beginnings! The interview was remarkably insightful and deeply educative, touching on a wide array of topics, including real estate, politics, education, courage, and the art of contentment. Aare Dele Momodu exemplifies tenacity, courage, dependability, and, above all, a heart filled with gratitude. May God strengthen you BobDee.💌
Honestly, Confidence, i couldn't be more grateful for yet another of your fantastic, informative and inspirational episodes of K2K. Dr Momodu is truly an inspiration. And so humble. Whatever led you to start this podcast series, it could only have been by divine inspiration, judging by the huge success it's garnered so far. Please keep it up. And thank you for believing in our great country.
Probably my 6th or 7th Interview session of Chief 0V I've seen so far... always a delight. Wisdom, insight & fresh perspective is a given in all his interviews.
Great interview. He captured almost all dimensions of life: family, politics, education, business, career, humanity, spirituality, posterity, etc. So inspiring. Kudos to Chief Dele Momodu. Great story & contributions. Good job at KK. Weldone
Wow, I remembered where the Ovation officer was in the Docklands. i have been sent to Beaufort Court to work as a security officer. I have seen Mr Dele Momodu at the office late at night to work once . he would smile and greet us. My supervisor (a white man ) told me " I was told that man is a political asylum"
I used to go there with my mum as a child. She was one of the editors. Her name is funmi. They are still close friends till this day! I didn't even know it was docklands. Just knew I got to play in an office😂
Mr Momodu, I just thank God for your life. Although I am four years older than you, I am really inspired by your life and your attitude to life. Remain ever blessed.
I was blown away by the first copy of OVATION magazine I saw and remained a customer until the print edition ended. I agree with you,Sir, that Nigeria should modernize the financial system to make credit available to qualified individuals to grow the economy. Low interest rate is essential to the development of the country.
I have been following Dele from Concord Newspaper never knew he such tenacious and courageous man.He really sum it very well by calling it , AUDACITY OF HOPE.
I dont can't even remember where i first got to read about Mr Momodu, but this video poped up and reminded me of him and i am soo inspired to hear from him of his experience and knowledge.
What if the roles were reversed that really touched me Mr Dele Momodu is an amazing entrepreneur and a role model i commend his tenacity and audacious vision
This was a very insightful & educative episode! I always tell people Plateau State is open for investment in terms of Tourism, Real Estate, Agriculture, Entertainment & Industrialization but they're scared of Insecurity! Plateau State is peaceful, secured and open for investment! Thank you Dele Momodu , this was very insightful & Thank you to the host for asking quality questions!
I'm new on this program. This gentleman is intelligent, very smart, and intellectual. Good program and it is educative. I like this man's story. He is an honest man, honorable, and humble. He worked very hard and widely for everything he has accomplished. He is self-made. 😮😮👏👏👌👌👍👍🙏🙏
I love how the host makes the guest feel comfortable and ask good follow up questions to keep the conversation going and most importantly without interruptions...... WOW!!! Such an Intelligent Man, I learnt a lot from this. I learnt that you should spend the early stages of your life building and developing yourself, Learning and thinking of how to contribute what you have learnt into the system of Nigeria and people to impact lives positively. God Bless Dr. Dele Momodu!
Thank you, Mr Dele Momodu, for this insightful discussion. I thank you because you're an intentional man, not because you're a Nigeria politician. Until Nigeria gets leadership right, we will not develop as a nation, the state of the country is at its time low......😢
I am glad to hear him say he couldn't get a job after his school....people actually think there used to be jobs in those days....even though there were fewer graduates produced. Our problem didn't start now, the difference is our population got exploded from the 80s to 2000s, and we couldn't keep up with development, we overstretched the fewer resources and infrastructures

He's a pastor, and police took money from him and threw out my case. So, thank you both for this interview. I know what to do now.

Chief Dele Momodu's story is highly motivated. And he's very privileged indeed to have worked with some of the richest people in Nigeria such as M K O Abiola and Mike Adenuga back then. And I strongly believe that those were the opportunities that elevated him before the unprepared moving or leaving for England 🇬🇧 ; most of the leaders the country Nigeria 🇳🇬 had from the northern part were the cause of set back of that great Nation, only General Muritala was God sent from that part of the country; and unfortunately he was assassinated. 20 thousand pounds is a lot of money even today and that money could change anybodies life unless you're a prodigal person.
