  • @MikyFPS
    @MikyFPS 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I've bought my Cloud Stinger headset way back in 2018, I think it was around 50$. The only thing that had an Issue was the Microphone after 2-3 years of use. The mute option stopped working and eventually the microphone was falling down by itself everytime when I tried to pull it up. It eventually also stopped working. Other than that, the sound is the same like it was on the first day when I bought them. I Personally think that the headset is truly amazing for this price.

    The real question - which of these mics allow your Warzone teammates to hear you the most clearly? The quality of the audio output only matters to me enough to hear footsteps and enemies so I don't care about that quality level. The only reason I'm dumping my ultra cheap headset is so my teammates can hear me better - any chance you can speak to that?

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you really want a better mic, I think you should buy a standalone mic. Even $150 headsets have trash mics. The Stinger's mic is the best here but you can spend $30 on a Fifine mic and get better quality than that.

    • @pkopalek
      @pkopalek 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Speaking for 95% of players of Warzone, I'm more asking for Console - where analog jack into your controller is the only good option. Even in reviews of the very expensive wireless headsets that can pair with the console, the mic audio is just as poor as the analog headsets! I guess hooking up a USB mic and using a different device to chat (maybe using earbuds under the headset to hear the chat) is the only good mic audio console players can get. In other words - there's no good mic for Console players!

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews
      @BadIntentStreamTechReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@pkopalek No, you can just use literally any headphones or headset and any USB mic on console at the same time. You can use the Stinger with a Blue Yeti or really any combination.

    • @BadIntentStreamTechReviews

      I did BlackShark V2 vs Cloud II and Cloud II vs Alpha S so it would be a bit redundant but basically:
      Alpha S sound is more detailed, has better bass and less harsh highs than BlackShark V2 out the box. Mics on both are average due to the sound cards. Alpha S is more comfortable and the sound controller is pretty convenient.
      Main thing the BlackShark V2 has going for it is Razer Synapse which has a great EQ interface and audio filters.

      The best overall headset under $100 I've tested so far is the Cloud Alpha. Best mic so far, though it's still not close to a dedicated mic. It also has the most accurate sound signature, very clear detail, and it's decent for music when you EQ it.
      I do have to add in case someone else reads this:
      If your priority is competitive FPS games and you're ok with a worse mic and a meh sound for immersion and music, then the Cloud II or Arctis 5 are good.

      @@lordkambing1396 Oh, I see. Yeah, I also have the QuadCast so I can relate to that. That is one advantage to headset mics, they have really aggressive noise canceling.
      The Alpha and Alpha S are pretty much the same except Alpha S mic is worse due to the USB sound controller compression. But it has a few extra features which are 7.1 virtual surround sound, game-chat balance, and bass sliders.
      I'd just get the Alpha because the mic sounds better with the splitter it comes with. Game-Chat balance is kinda cool.. Bass sliders on max just sound like regular Alpha. Less than max is tinny. And the 7.1 VSS is 🗑️.

    I own Hyper X Cloud Stinger S. I bought them for 30 bucks. For 30 bucks the headset is a banger. The only thing I disliked on this headset after almost a year of use is the cable quality. It is too long then too thin and it became like a spaghetti . It is still working perfectly. On build and sound quality There is No way to compare the cloud core stinger s to even slightly more expensive headsets. You can find Cloud II (Along with Logitech G pro) The best headsets in overall I have ever tried below 100 bucks. Microphone Impressed me in a positive way even on Audacity Test.
