I didn't think that reviews like this existed. It's so straightforward, honest, without any plugs and just a perfect answer to my question, "What's the difference between them?" Thank you!
I am getting cloudX stinger core for 1800rs, cloud stinger for 2000 and cloud stinger 2 for 2000 also so which one should i buy?? My only reason to buy is gaming ( currency INR )
My ears are uneven so I usually depend on swivel to maximize comfort on my head. I haven't worn headphones around my neck since 1998 so that's not what I use swivel for. And it's absolutely a selling point for me, even though it might not be for others. I had no idea the non-Core version of these had swivel, so I appreciate the comparison so I know which one to get.
I love the way you do the review... no BS just straight stuff. I am subbing man... keep the good work dude.. BTW I managed to get Stinger 2 (in used condition but minimal wear) very cheap and I am agree the quality really good for the price tag.
If your only problem were the earpads, you can easily replace them. The earpads on these are universal shaped so there are plenty of options from mesh to real leather, deep and shallow earpads.
And volume level seems fine to me. Every good headset manufacturer would not let volume levels be the downfall of their product. We can trust HyperX to not fuck up in that regard.
I just bought core 2 and i am amazed with them in my region they are 20% cheaper than stinger 2. Actualy i tought i am buying stinger 2 cuz i asked in the store if there is any diff between them and guy said that there is no diff. At first i was pissed but after this video it is easier for me. At the end the only thing that matters is that both of them are good and that i didn't make a big mistake
You’re so fkn legit bro, i’m loving it. Checking reviews before i go get a headset soon.. and they are all rubbish dude. it’s so cringe. Cheers mate 👍👍
Now I know that I'd better not get Stinger 2 becaise I already have a mediocre headset. Just will wait a bit and get Cloud 2 (which I heard are much better). Thank you!
The HyperX cloud Stinger 2’s sounds better than all of Razors headsets and they have ones that cost $200. HyperX headset speakers use neodymium magnets so they give better sound quality than other headsets with 50mm drives. The only budget headset that is better than the HyperX cloud stinger 2’s are the HyperX clouds and cloud Alphas because they have 53mm drivers but not by much. Sennheiser makes a better gaming headset than any of HyperX’s and that’s the sennheiser 560s wired headset that cost $230. A $230 wireless headset is a budget headset and you are paying for the wireless features and those $230 wireless headsets have wired versions that cost $100 so yes you do get the sound of a $100 headset for $40 or $50 with the HyperX Cloud stinger 2 and you get a even better sound with the Hyper X Cloud’s and Cloud Alphas. You don’t get the sound of a $100 headset with the HyperX stinger 2 cores because they only have 40mm drivers but they are still better than the Logitech G335’s that have 40mm drivers because of the neodymium magnetic. The cores sound like a $75 headset that sounds better than all of the turtle beach headsets. Roccat is a German manufacturer that makes their drivers with neodymium magnets but their headsets with 50mm drivers cost more than the HyperX’s. They have the Roccat Elo with 40mm drivers and neodymium magnets and you can get them on sale for the same price as the Stinger 2 cores
Great video man.... I've been confused since week between Cloud stinger 2 Core and Razer blackshark V2 X.... Here they're almost the same price, so what do you suggest I should buy ?
Really depends on if you need rotatable ear cups or not. If not, just get whichever material you think you’d want. Like I said I was a big fan of the cloth on the Core over the leatherette.
Bought Stinger 2 used it past 1month...damn its so precise for footsteps and I can't keep the volume more than than 70...its too loud even at 70% volume.

Cloud stinger the g335 is too small if you have a small head it's for you and for small ears the earcubs were very uncomfy for me and the whole headset was too small to me and the plastic quality isn't that good mic is good tho
@otshadypullsup1689 yea i've tried the g773, i wear glasses and it was giving me too much headache using it for less than 1 hour. what do you think about Astro A10 Gen 2
Just wanna ask between HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 core vs Razer Kraken V3 X which is better?
