great catches and video of this famous steamers railroad day in this town nice horn and shuttle action too with a picnic surfliner and a BNSF freight tanker
I didn't know 3751 had to go down for it's 15 year rebuilt I had just found that out it's going to be out of services for 3 to 4 years (I feel like that'll be a long time) but when it comes back I hope it could make another trip to the grand canyon railway again with 4960 and 29 (after watching footage from the nrhs convention in 2002 and the Arizona centennial celebration in 2012) although it feels different without engine 18 at the grand canyon railway anymore but 29 seems like a good replacement

Happy 90th birthday 3751!

would have liked more steam and less diesel.....
It'll be a while before she runs again. Her crew told me she's going down for her 15 year inspection this year.
Mateo Pelissier once she's running again I hope she double heads with 2926

Santa Fe 3751: The first 4-8-4.
Jack Salvin WE ALREADY KNOW
3751 Was not the first 4-8-4 ever built.
I hope for the 2020 event 3751 might possibly attend it and maybe an excursion too
TRAIN 3751 TEM A BELEZA DE UMA MISS UNIVERSO.
The bnsf engine was using its dynamic brakes giving 3751 something to work against.
awesome catch fríend...Greetings.......Like
i wish AT&SF 3751 could come to Topeka...
Anyone know why when 3751 was leaving a bnsf diesel was coupled up to her?
1:23-2:16: whistle VS horn competition.
WHOA! I THOUGHT THOSE ATSF-STYLE HI-LEVEL CARS WERE GONE! 7:41-8:00
So sante fe 3751 has been restored already? I thought it was being restored currently or waiting to be restored.
Now thats what u call a steam train?
Spencerhughes225 saw it too.
I never seen Santa Fe 3751 in San Diego’s by the way I live in San Diego
30,000 horsepower casually rolling by. 1:04
Plenty of diesel action.
Anyone know why 3751 operates with a BNSF diesel up front?
Jordan Michael - mostly insurance cost. It’s very expensive to have a steamer lead.
So for 10 minutes I watched a diesel train pull a steam train........bullshit @@@@@@@!!!!!!
but you can hear the locomotive chuffing? and chuffing equals the throttle is open? the diesel in front is mainly for insurance
