The company I worked for at the time supplied a German 5-Axis MAHO CNC Lathe as part of the machinery purchased to accomplish this objective. At the time of procurement all the parts that made up the trainer were spread out on the floor for display in a section of the Aeronautical Engineers workshop. Another of these trainers is resting on the runway of the original airport in downtown Chiang Rai.

Unfortunately it ended up being very troublesome and hard to fly so it was not very popular. 14:12 This is a SAAB JAS-39 Gripen, which started service in the late 90s and is still very much in service today, and is now produced in its NG iterations as the JAS-39E and F. 14:25 That is a Cessna A-37 Dragonfly, and was a popular strike aircraft during the Vietnam War. In fact, RTAF had Imperial Japanese Ki-21, Ki-27, Ki-43 in service during the early stages of WW2, but towards end of the war, Thailand turned to join the Allies, so US ordered Thailand to destroy those aircraft.

Oh yah, German that’s right.
Where is Air force museum
I literally showed and explained how to get there within the first five minutes of the video.
@@LifewithSergi can visit here now I stay in bkk
I think you are wrong about Thailand declaring war on the allies. My understanding was the document was not presented and therefore it was never official
It was apparently never presented to the US. Yes that is true. I got this info from Wikipedia, which isn’t exactly a 100% accurate place.

Enjoy!
@@LifewithSerg There are many interesting museums for you to visit in Thailand.😀
Me in Thailand
Enjoy!
Unlike the Philippine Air Force museum which sucks.😂😂😂They should close it.
I was really impressed with this museum. To be totally honest, I wasn’t expecting much after going to the royalty navy museum. That was rather disappointing. However, this Air Force museum was great.
