      Any knowledge about how the electric door handles will operate in sub-zero conditions?
      I'm so close to ordering one, but nobody can tell me if those handles work in freezing 🥶 conditions

    There have been three software upgrades to the BYD Seal over the space of six months in Australia since launch, addressing several customer concerns and adding new features. These updates will continue. They have also fixed a compatibility problem with Tesla V3/4 superchargers. Maybe your local operations don't pass customer feedback onto China.

      many Chinese EV companies made bad decisions in EU market because of many reasons, they are not operating by their selves, too many middlemen.
      Chinese EV companies actually are very agile, and EV bugs are easy to fix by update by nature.
      and the infrastructural and service network for EVs in different countries are very different, you Australia market are much more EV friendly than EU. and they just cant only depend on manufactures to build the infrastructure for them in Europe, it has to be a government thing.

    While I agree with most of your points (especially regarding how they could fix the rapid gate problem), I feel like it's a bit unfair to say they're not listening. They changed the warning beeps, changed the auto steer, added finger gestures to change climate, reacted to the problems with the v3 and v4 Superchargers... And from what I've seen in reviews of the new Tang they'll soon update the whole OS to a new design.

    U have to remember that when compared to tesla, they have 10 years of software development vs BYD only couple of years. Beware what more U drive Seal it just gets better and better every time... 😁 When U hammered Seal it showed 412kW peak power. 😎 In dyno they got 575 hp and 820Nm.

      Yes, that is why Tesla is very bad, and so is BMW Group as they should have done much better than this, since at least 1998... With others motorisations but with EJFJ Posotice Communication between all car components as Xpeng X-EAA3.0 does much better!

    I could test drive a Seal Premium for about a week. I generally very like this car. It is very spacious, also for the back passengers. But the car is quite large (long) and a little too low for me. What I don’t like is the trunk which is not practically. A hatch (like the BMW i4) or a real estate version would be great.
    My consumption during this week (700 km) was 140 kWh/km.

    Tested one for a weekend and absolutely loved it, like it much more than a tesla, to me its a bit of a remix of a tesla and a "normal" car - and thats ideal imo
    a bit less efficient than a tesla but most cars are.. - to me nothing comparable in this price sector, only the Auto AC sucked a bit in high temperatures but i guess that is a updateable thing

  • @Sooraj09073

    I noticed you're comparing an affordable sedan to the efficency and tech of a Tesla, the comfort and quality of an Audi or Mercedes, and the performance and handling of a BMW or Porsche, which are much pricier. It's better to compare it to cars in the same price range for a fair assessment.

    • @travelguy78
      @travelguy78 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      Yes and no. The price is 20% above Tesla and on par with BMW I4 and Audi. So when you price your products in that price range it is a fair comparison. The Tesla Model 3 is such a steal these days it is almost incredible.

    • @dann5515
      @dann5515 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      honestly when u talking about comparing comfort and built quality.. u look up on euro brand too much. if u got money to throw is your choice. BYD seal look luxurious to me compared to BWM and BENZ base model. But much cheaper than BMW and BENZ for the same quality if u wanna ask. of cos cant compared with AMG or M series class. But China know u people wont spent the hekka much as euro's top class spec's prices for Chinese brand. Nio is Chinese luxury brand EV still not getting more people to buy in euro. Becos the people in EU and US still have that sceptical theories on Chinese brands.

    You are blinking into the roundabout?
    Youre suppose to indicate when you want to leave so people waiting to enter know they can drive because you will leave.
    I know youre driving counterclockwise in the roundabout there is no other way to go so activating your left blinker doesent make much sense lol, but perhaps your drivingschools teach different to ours thats why foreigners sometimes blink into the roundabout like you do.
