    I'm already have this complet, but when I shutdown the interface of WLC-01 the WLC-02 doesn't response, both WLC go down. is there ir something tha I measing?

      Which interface you shutdown on wlc-1 ?
      From which interface you are accessing wlc from lan or through management ?

      @@easyconcepts5820 Through LAN Ten1/0/1 - WLC-01 AND Ten2/0/1 - WLC-02 I din't confing the managament interface or connect it into my switch

      @@ariaskendry try with shutdown complete wlc 1 and then access the wlc 2 and check failover.

      Hello Kendry, I had the same issue trying the failover. If you shut the interface, the WLC2 doesn't backup. But if you shutdown the controler it will backup (i don't know the reason).
      When i configure a cluster i always have to create a first failover electrically. After that the interface fail backup works... really strange.

    what's the difference RP and RMI+RP port?

      RP means Redundant port and it just monitor the peer redundant device wlc
      RMI means Redundant Management Interface which monitors Management gateway to trigger the failover
      So RMI+RP mens it monitors the peer device and also the management gateway
      In case if any one of these two is down failover is triggered
