In CLI - we will pre download IOS to APs before install activate but while doing upgrade in GUI - at what stage we need to pre download the IOS to APs? and how can we do please ?

What is the difference when run the update in the HA cluster WLC9800 series?

Can I ask a question about the reboot time? I heard that cisco wlc has long booting time. In my company, the old wlc 2504 take around 30 minutes to boot up. How long will 9800 series take?
I don't think c9800 is going to take 30min, should be less than 10min. It may slightly vary based on the platform type, c9800-CL/L/40/80
Is it possible to reboot multiple access point in 9800 at a time
You can use some CLI commands to do the same, export the AP names and use the Excel for building the command set and use CLI
If did upgrade firmware on WLC , is it pushing automatically to all joined AP in the WLC ? Could you please advise ?
As part of join process APs will check the firmware version with WLC. If there is any miss match on the version (Up/Down) APs will download the current WLC version and reboot with that image and join back to the WLC. Hope this clarifies your query.
