Here is my second shooting film episode from my still ongoing trip through Mexico. In this one I am shooting Kodak Ektar 100 in my Leica M6 in San Miguel De Allende which is a small but very lovely town north of Mexico city. Mounted to the Leica was the Voigtländer 35mm Ultron f/1.7.
The film has been developed and scanned by give film a chance over in Monterrey/Mexico. Again they did a great job.

2 years ago I went to the historic center of Zacatecas, also in Mexico, and it was beautiful, with those nice colors of Mexican towns and several gorgeous old church, at that time very crowded, I cant wait to do these kind of trips again now with my camera. Good job Robin very inspiring work.

I'm so happy I found this channel. I was losing intrest in photography, but after seeing a your videos I have started to get into streetphotograpy! I still don't like getting close so I'm mainly shooting 50mm and am now getting used to 35mm. In the future I want to get into 28mm because the perspective it gives is amazing

the 35mm f1.7 Ultron is my go to lense on my M6, really an excellent perfomer imo and for the price one of thr best 35mm m-lens you can get!

Das sind echt schöne Farbbilder und dann auch noch mit meinem Lieblingsfarbfilm! (Ich finde den Portra nämlich büschn overhyped, aber das ist ein anderes Thema...)
Besonders die Rottöne sind so stark... Oder ne, die Gelbtöne sind sogar noch ein Zacken krasser, was sich ja dort in Mexiko echt anbietet. Dickes Like meinerseits!

Nice shots, Mexico colors are amazing, and Ektar was the film to capture them. Loved the one with the hats. I shot a lot of the long gone 25. Ah, still have on in the fridge! Best!

I really enjoyed this video!! Using ektar in this city was a great choice. All those contrasy scenes would look great in B&W, but I really like how the ektar is colorful and has a "thickness" to the images like the slide films I shot for decades.

Hi Robin, great job, so nice as usual and especially with this 35mm (for me the 28 is too wide). I like the 2nd one (the landscape with the church)... waiting for the next one ;)
