Today it's time for another Mexico episode and this time I am shooting some Fuji C200 in Guadalajara. The city felt much more lively than on my first time here a couple of months before. However, since it was a weekday, there wasn't much going on as soon as you left the city center. But that's ok, since it still was a good day of shooting. After this video, I still have some episodes from Mexico left but soon the series will come to an end. 😭

A pleasant photo walk as usual !
The light on the face of the guy who's waiting for the bus is absolutely insane.

The way you just pull out your camera and shoot when someone is obviously looking at you or how long you stand close to someone is crazy. I get nervous just watching.

Great video! I wanted to add that the film stock you used is different from the classic c200. Fuji discontinued it and instead added Fuji 200 which is kodak stock. I loved C200 so much.

Excellent work. Never been to Mexico but have always wanted to. Not only were the photos of random people really nice, the architecture also caught my eye.

C200 was basically the only C-41 negative film I use (apart from some odd ones like the Silberra stuff, I like to try those weird filmstocks out) because of thw previously low price. I honestly doubt if I will shoot much colour negative film anymore with how expensive it is getting for a student like me... Anyways, back to C200, people often critisize it for its skintones, but as long as you scan it properly, it turns out perfectly fine. Scanners tend to overcompensate on colourcasts so you have to manually adjust it a little and labs often do it very well. The image with the guy in the car with his hound out the window is absolutely amazing, I love that you can see the right hand reflected in the mirror!

Particularly nice shot of the guy in the truck with the 3 hands :). c200 looks great - beautiful cool blue cast over it. Love these 35mm videos mate, keep it up! 👍👍

I swear that seemed like a never-ending roll of film. I lost count of great pics, and you kept on shooting and shooting and shooting. I couldn't believe you were able to stand behind the person on the bench with the red fingernails and cigarette for almost 20 seconds before you took the photo @2:21 ... all the time they were oblivious. Serious ninja skills you have there, Robin

I always enjoy your photo walks. No one ever confronts you when they have seen you taking their photo? They don't even seem to care. I thought the shot of the kids running through the pigeons was nice.
