I love Snow and Charming, their chemistry is absolutely amazing! I think my jaw dropped when Charming started to sing, but love it! I was so glad to see such a tribute to Disney through this wonderful series and these songs! Love and its powerful magic will always win the day!
By the time this episode aired, I had stopped watching (I got annoyed with everyone by S5) but later on, when it was on Netflix, I came to watch this episode because I love musicals and Charming's song entrance is GLORIOUS.
This song was amazing, and it gave me an idea for my own bit of writing. One thing I have struggled to explain in my novels is why it is that magic cannot create real life or raise the dead. The answer, I think, is that the love of two, particularly a man and a woman, bring together two unique energies that, on their own, are incapable of creating life, but together, for that moment, create the ultimate magic, the very magic that brought all existence into being. That magic, when things are just right, for a brief moment, is the power of God, and it can create souls. To bring back the dead requires remaking them. It's not enough to fix their flesh or preserve it with a spell. No, even bringing their soul back and temporarily tethering it to their body won't do, even if you can. It's not much better than mere possession. A living person is not just a ghost in a shell of meat. A living person is matter, energy, spirit, and mind all enmeshed together in perfect harmony, a unified being. That cannot be created by any other means than the ultimate magic, the magic that love can momentarily channel when the union of two complimentary energies (male and female) come together in just the right balance. This idea also explains why it is so morally rotten to try and use magic to create life or raise the dead. It never quite works right, and it usually comes at a huge cost to the being brought into existence (they aren't really alive but are actually a kind of undead/thoughtform that has self awareness and mimics life), to others (this is very dark magic), and to the caster themselves. It has no love in it, and is born of selfishness and attachment, rather than true love. I will probably play with this idea some more to hone it, but I like this idea a lot.
Im on season 3 and i love how they keep on going back to past episodes through flashbacks but now i am confused because the timeline is really messed up and i can tell who is older then who. Is Hook older Rumple but going out with Emma? I don't know.
Both are near the same age but I think Rumple could be older, this is before the Dark One. After Rumple kills his ex and Hook's girlfriend, Hook went to Neverland and Rumple is immortal as the Darkness is in him.

I find it a little interesting that they sleep and sipping rooms. Well it's probably not that interesting but it is common that couples sleep together.
