I disagree. I loved the show but I think it should have ended at season 3 when all the plot threads had for the most part been cleared up. Take out the Marian returning and Elsa appearing scenes and it would have been a perfect end to the show. From season 4 on the writing really became hit and miss. I think that the soft reboot season seven is proof that the show went on too long. It was fabulous but once they started recycling arcs and storylines it lost a lot of its charm. The show's finale with Regina becoming the good queen REALLY felt like a cop out. And as much as I loved the Rumple/Belle montage at the end where they grow old together I lost my patience with the constant back and forthing of their relationship. I felt that Gold really was just going good or bad depending on what the plot needed as opposed to actual character growth. Some shows just need to quit while they are ahead.

@@ChelseyLinden I watched all the seasons as they came out but as my comment to Christopher indicates I found that the writing became incredibly shaky after season 3 ended and i believe that that would have been a good place to end the series so I simply rewatch up to that point.
This show had so many point of views and parts of the story that you could honestly relate to each character in their own special ways. It’s, well....magical✨

People keep saying that it’s all hooks fault, but really it was everyone, making choices like a normal person. Hook chose to take Milah, Rumple chose to take revenge, Regina chose to believe Rumple, Snow chose to tell Cora and Cora chose to take action, so don’t be complaining that it’s one persons fault Edit: Also, the singers really sound like the actors singing, except for Emma, she sings a little deeper, but still AMAZING!! I really wished that Regina got a song named after the show- My Once Upon A Time . Emma got the theme song and it was not even Emma , it was retconeed Swan but Regina , the other protagonist , deserved a powerful song
Not so much . I mean she was running from life in general and trying to keep her walls up and knew she wasnt living until Henry brought her to Storybrooke . So technically she knew something was missing and tried to run away but eventually her problems (regina) and friendships (snow) got to her and she had to stay for the sake of keeping Henry safe and because she finally ahd somewhere to belong .
I would love to see more OUATs! But in my opinion, it should have ended before the henry's story.....It was not my type and the story wasn't as good as before..What do you think? Am I the only one who thinks so?
I loved the whole series but not the final series, maybe it was because emma and hook ect where not in it but the final series was a let down compared to the other 6 wish they would bring it back
I agree. I couldn't even get past the secons episode of season 7. They should have ended it with Season 6. It was the end of the main meaning of the series. Emma's story! I can't bring myself to watch the last season. Very cringy

The show was going downhill from season 3 onward and season 7 was proof they were scraping the bottom of the barrell much as I love the characters as they were originally concieved in the first 3 seasons I'd rather NOT watch any further character assassination due to lack of creativity

Difference between Hook's loss and Regina's loss : Hook was the one who had hurt Rumple first so he was just paying the price BUT Regina was a good person ( before she became EQ ) who deserved better . Hook losing Milah and Regina losing Daniel aren't comparable
I really wish you could make an entire musical from this. You left out the Killian Jones punch, when he goes to Milah's rescue. It showed us what a true Gentleman, & sweet, fun loving & Romantic, 1st meeting it really was, for the two Star crossed lovers. Before Rumplestilkin told his misleading side of it. I hate the Bullying scene from Rumplestilkin's POV of Hook. It doesn't play write, with me. We don't have the truth, till Season 5 Underbrooke. When Milah a very timid yet sweet, woman, Unassumedly; is sitting minding her own business, not drinking like a sailor on leave, but taken by her wares, as Prince Rude, & drunken STUPID, tries to mess with her. We find out the real story of the two wayward souls, & Killian's first love. She wanted to be an artist before she had Baelfire, she wanted a life before Rumple only wanted her to hide her dreams, sparked Once more by the Dashingly handsome, & heroic Pirate Captain Killian Jones. Who had no clue that she was all ready Married off to a man who only dreamed but couldn't see his dreams thru. In Rumple's version Hook is already a Bastard, thieving Ruffian, with no heart for anyone. An up start who deserves his fate. But all along we find that to play un true. As Killian Jones story is one of a sad lad, along with his older brother, are sold by their own bad father, to a Merchant fisher, into a slavery they never saw coming. As bad Parents are one of the worst curses in our favorite Series, in ONCE, & ONCERS Sigh, wow I couldn't have guessed. So back to Killian Jones Tale, eventually Milah, goes back to spend time with the Incredibly, Ravishing, & Romantic, Captain Killian Jones. This tale is then twisted, by a jellous husband. & Balefire isn't even there when Killian comes across the Eville Darkone Rumplestilkin, & is thrown into a protective stance, taken unawares, of the Arrogance from the Beast🌀😈 The Sword fight, is also Rumplestilkin's version in his POV we see a not so gracious, & clumsy Hook, try an best his for, all to protect himself, & Milah from her Cur of a Husband, & his wraph, & rage. He doesn't care about the lovers he wants to only toy with them, for the betrale, this will end bloody for all. & at this time line, Bellfire is lost in Neverland, because his selfish father let him go, & greedily kept warm with his Magiqes. All Magiqes come with a price, Balefire had to pay it... Rumple now turns on Killian with a raging storm, & threatens to tear into his heart, the violation is repeated later on. As Milah suddenly appears confidant, & fully protective of her love. She offers Rumple what he truly wanted, the portal making bean. But Rumple is hesitant to release Killian, till Milah produces William Smees red stocking hat. His Grand mum knitted for him. Rumple immediately ceases his attacke on Killian, & let's the two lovers leave the board walk, to the Jolly Rodger. Bent & still unable to walk Milah takes Killian, back to their Jolly ship. But not so Jolly, is the Darkone who boards it in a quick pursuit of them. Then Milah is questioned & confronted by her Ex Husband, now a extremely unstable Darkone, deturmined to get to the son he like his bad father before him, let go, & abandoned. Killian only knowing full well what that was like himself, became hardened over time, & eventually it helped him to fight, & remain a brave fighter. Which as a Mutineer, made him a threat, as his real skill with a blade really showed when Killian dances with Emma for the first time, like a ballet with broad & Cuttlasses advancing, but mostly graceful blocks, not meant to kill her. Just take her off her game. The real fight, is nothing fair, to Killian, or poor Misguided misjudgement, Milah who if not for their sweet son, Bae, should never have left him behind, if her desire to be with dear Killian Jones was what she wanted, Bae should have been included in her decision. Later, even Killian wanted to make things right for Bae, but Bae like Regina's tale with poor lil Greg tradgedy was his future losses, because he trusted in his blind faith, in both Tommara & the Home office, which really was Rumplestilkin's bad Dad, Eville Peter Pan. Just didn't know how to make it better. Till he had the opportunity by Emma, to ensure Henry wouldn't be alone, like what transpired in the past with all the bad Parents in the Connected tale, & families, from Story. Out of them, Killian tried to right the wrongs done. All the time Killian Jones had been with Emma & her strange yet Charming family tree, he was trying to right the wrongs done & only care about them all, even later Belle, who was also a part of the craziest family, besides the Addame's on our TVs ever. Killian in knowing he owed Belle for twice trying to end her. She turned to him, after Once more running from Rumple, now with her unborn child, Killian offers her Sanctuary aboard the Jolly. & has to defend her, after the true Villain inevitablly shows up to kill the Darkone's lovely Belle, for Rumple ruining his life, equal in the creating of a sensitive, & capble of even love, Mr. Hyde. Who also has Vengeful intentions, as his Doppleganger Dr. Jeckle tries to end Belle's tale, when Killian comes to her rescue. But a Dead lack of persona Dr. Jeckle, also kills his more powerful, intelligent, & far more interesting, Romantic other half, we see by the Captain's own Action, two things have transpired. Both men it seems are just dead. Where Jerkle, is the only man, Hyde shows a compassion, & kindness that Jeckle as a hotty British Pompous, yet quickly innovative Scientist, Yet so expected, only desired to create a sryrum that could prove to be disastrous, if realized. In splitting a person's shadow self, such as Regina, & her Eville side the Eville Queen, this however doesn't play, as well as hoped, when the Writers had no real direction to smooth over the fact, that Regina crushed her other's heart, 💗👩🏻👑Regina should then be dead as well, but then the Eville Queen Regina returns?¿ So then why did Hyde die, we don't care about Jerkle, but why did Hyde die¿ When the Delightfully Deranged, Venging, Hot Headed Queen Regina 👑🍎still Reigns¿👩🏻 Always ONCER HOLES TO POKE THRU Sadly. Buddy miserable or not the woman was a) Married so should have been off limits in the first place the second she voiced that fact. B) Literally took the cowards way out and instead of confronting her husband and admitting that she was going to leave (because seriously do we really think Spinner Rumple was gonna or even be able to stop her leaving?) she let her husband think she was raped and murdered. Her husband who went and begged a bunch of armed pirates to release her for the sake of their son. She didn't just break her marriage vows. SHE ABANDONED HER SON and never looked back!! It's hard enough for a kid to be supported with two parents let a lone one. She was also a b*tch to rumple for choosing to not to die in a pointless battle and instead cripple himself so his son would know his dad. Milah was a freaking Hag. Hook also may have had a bad start and become a better person in the end but he was an absolute bastard to Rumple taunting a crippled man who he KNEW couldn't fight him without it being suicide. Now rumple isn't innocent in all this but I argue he was more pissed at milah for abandoning Bae than really all that jealous. Nobody really comes out looking good but in the case of Milah, hook, and Rumple I'd still say hook and milah are the ones who are mostly in the wrong.

Difference between Hook's loss and Regina's loss : Hook was the one who had hurt Rumple first so he was just paying the price BUT Regina was a good person ( before she became EQ ) who deserved better . Hook losing Milah and Regina losing Daniel aren't comparable
Hook didn't mean to hurt rumple, it was Mila's fault for going off with him, all hook wanted was for Mila to be happy

You left out the Killian Jones punch, when he goes to Milah's rescue. It showed us what a true Gentleman, & sweet, fun loving & Romantic, 1st meeting it really was, for the two Star crossed lovers. Before Rumplestilkin told his misleading side of it. I hate the Bullying scene from Rumplestilkin's POV of Hook. It doesn't play write, with me. We don't have the truth, till Season 5 Underbrooke. When Milah a very timid yet sweet, woman, Unassumedly; is sitting minding her own business, not drinking like a sailor on leave, but taken by her wares, as Prince Rude, & drunken STUPID, tries to mess with her. We find out the real story of the two wayward souls, & Killian's first love. She wanted to be an artist before she had Baelfire, she wanted a life before Rumple only wanted her to hide her dreams, sparked Once more by the Dashingly handsome, & heroic Pirate Captain Killian Jones. Who had no clue that she was all ready Married off to a man who only dreamed but couldn't see his dreams thru. In Rumple's version Hook is already a Bastard, thieving Ruffian, with no heart for anyone. An up start who deserves his fate. But all along we find that to play un true. As Killian Jones story is one of a sad lad, along with his older brother, are sold by their own bad father, to a Merchant fisher, into a slavery they never saw coming. As bad Parents are one of the worst curses in our favorite Series, in ONCE, & ONCERS Sigh, wow I couldn't have guessed.
So back to Killian Jones Tale, eventually Milah, goes back to spend time with the Incredibly, Ravishing, & Romantic, Captain Killian Jones.
This tale is then twisted, by a jellous husband. & Balefire isn't even there when Killian comes across the Eville Darkone Rumplestilkin, & is thrown into a protective stance, taken unawares, of the Arrogance from the Beast🌀😈
The Sword fight, is also Rumplestilkin's version in his POV we see a not so gracious, & clumsy Hook, try an best his for, all to protect himself, & Milah from her Cur of a Husband, & his wraph, & rage. He doesn't care about the lovers he wants to only toy with them, for the betrale, this will end bloody for all. & at this time line, Bellfire is lost in Neverland, because his selfish father let him go, & greedily kept warm with his Magiqes. All Magiqes come with a price, Balefire had to pay it...
Rumple now turns on Killian with a raging storm, & threatens to tear into his heart, the violation is repeated later on. As Milah suddenly appears confidant, & fully protective of her love. She offers Rumple what he truly wanted, the portal making bean. But Rumple is hesitant to release Killian, till Milah produces William Smees red stocking hat. His Grand mum knitted for him. Rumple immediately ceases his attacke on Killian, & let's the two lovers leave the board walk, to the Jolly Rodger.
Bent & still unable to walk Milah takes Killian, back to their Jolly ship.
But not so Jolly, is the Darkone who boards it in a quick pursuit of them. Then Milah is questioned & confronted by her Ex Husband, now a extremely unstable Darkone, deturmined to get to the son he like his bad father before him, let go, & abandoned. Killian only knowing full well what that was like himself, became hardened over time, & eventually it helped him to fight, & remain a brave fighter. Which as a Mutineer, made him a threat, as his real skill with a blade really showed when Killian dances with Emma for the first time, like a ballet with broad & Cuttlasses advancing, but mostly graceful blocks, not meant to kill her. Just take her off her game.
The real fight, is nothing fair, to Killian, or poor Misguided misjudgement, Milah who if not for their sweet son, Bae, should never have left him behind, if her desire to be with dear Killian Jones was what she wanted, Bae should have been included in her decision. Later, even Killian wanted to make things right for Bae, but Bae like Regina's tale with poor lil Greg tradgedy was his future losses, because he trusted in his blind faith, in both Tommara & the Home office, which really was Rumplestilkin's bad Dad, Eville Peter Pan. Just didn't know how to make it better. Till he had the opportunity by Emma, to ensure Henry wouldn't be alone, like what transpired in the past with all the bad Parents in the Connected tale, & families, from Story. Out of them, Killian tried to right the wrongs done. All the time Killian Jones had been with Emma & her strange yet Charming family tree, he was trying to right the wrongs done & only care about them all, even later Belle, who was also a part of the craziest family, besides the Addame's on our TVs ever. Killian in knowing he owed Belle for twice trying to end her. She turned to him, after Once more running from Rumple, now with her unborn child, Killian offers her Sanctuary aboard the Jolly. & has to defend her, after the true Villain inevitablly shows up to kill the Darkone's lovely Belle, for Rumple ruining his life, equal in the creating of a sensitive, & capble of even love, Mr. Hyde. Who also has Vengeful intentions, as his Doppleganger Dr. Jeckle tries to end Belle's tale, when Killian comes to her rescue. But a Dead lack of persona Dr. Jeckle, also kills his more powerful, intelligent, & far more interesting, Romantic other half, we see by the Captain's own Action, two things have transpired. Both men it seems are just dead. Where Jerkle, is the only man, Hyde shows a compassion, & kindness that Jeckle as a hotty British Pompous, yet quickly innovative Scientist, Yet so expected, only desired to create a sryrum that could prove to be disastrous, if realized. In splitting a person's shadow self, such as Regina, & her Eville side the Eville Queen, this however doesn't play, as well as hoped, when the Writers had no real direction to smooth over the fact, that Regina crushed her other's heart, 💗👩🏻👑Regina should then be dead as well, but then the Eville Queen Regina returns?¿ So then why did Hyde die, we don't care about Jerkle, but why did Hyde die¿ When the Delightfully Deranged, Venging, Hot Headed Queen Regina 👑🍎still Reigns¿👩🏻

Buddy miserable or not the woman was a) Married so should have been off limits in the first place the second she voiced that fact. B) Literally took the cowards way out and instead of confronting her husband and admitting that she was going to leave (because seriously do we really think Spinner Rumple was gonna or even be able to stop her leaving?) she let her husband think she was raped and murdered. Her husband who went and begged a bunch of armed pirates to release her for the sake of their son. She didn't just break her marriage vows. SHE ABANDONED HER SON and never looked back!! It's hard enough for a kid to be supported with two parents let a lone one. She was also a b*tch to rumple for choosing to not to die in a pointless battle and instead cripple himself so his son would know his dad. Milah was a freaking Hag. Hook also may have had a bad start and become a better person in the end but he was an absolute bastard to Rumple taunting a crippled man who he KNEW couldn't fight him without it being suicide. Now rumple isn't innocent in all this but I argue he was more pissed at milah for abandoning Bae than really all that jealous. Nobody really comes out looking good but in the case of Milah, hook, and Rumple I'd still say hook and milah are the ones who are mostly in the wrong.
