Well can you atleast put what the firmware is. Because I have the 3B2QJXD7 on my 990 pro 2tb
3B2QGXA7 - that is issued frmw. But you have to update it anyway
If It starts with a 3 then it's doomed if you don't update it

IIRC there was an issue with firmware in the 2TB version that led to them legitimately bricking. They released firmware update you can Dl for them and new ones don't have the issue.
So is it a good choice to use these SSDs or not? Sorry I don't really get what you wanted to say!!

@@shubhamchandel1607by bricking he means they are basically totally destroyed. Now they are fixed and ok to use, but if you buy a used one go download Samsung magician and download the update
Hey Anthony so I wanted to tell you something important
So recently I was looking for a used Canon EOS 60D on ebay and there were many offers except they all shutter counts of over 200K and I know some people bought these and they Broke really quickly
So maybe do a video warning of those "Scams" since the 60d only has a Maximum Shutter Count of 10000 and many other DSLR Cameras from the 2000's and 2010 from Canon,Nikon,Sony etc. Are also affected and people lose money because of this
The Affected Groups of people are mostly beginners since they don't have much Knowledge
That's not a "scam". That's not even a buyer beware..
The seller told you the shutter count. The buyer should know the shutter life. A basic research of buying used camera bodies would teach a person to research the shutter count and shouldn't be surprised if and when it does fail shortly after.

Drop a couple of Hydrofluoric acid in the sensor and wipe it with your finger, the acid will kill the fungus and yeast bacteria in the surface of your finger will eat the already dead fungus, and then lick it, the saliva on your tongue will neutralize the acid before it leaves a stain on your sensor.

Idk for sure but I think it also has an issue and needs some sort of update I would recommend looking for a video on it

@@thetxkidd2013 no unfortunately, no source online i can find confirms if it still has the issue or not. Even worse in my country the prices rose for no reason.
I have the Samsung 990 PRO 1TB drive on my new Gaming PC and installed a firmware update. Now it won't fail fastly I hope 😑

So how about for the PS5? Every drive is formatted before it can be used by the PS5. Does this mean the firmware update will be erased?
There are tho. I bought a brand new one in december of 2023 and it runs at 84c on desktop as soon as I turn on my pc. I check task manager and its at 100% use sitting on desktop with nothing loaded all the time. If I try to play a game for longer than 10 minutes it freezes my entire computer and I have to force restart.

No don't get this. Software engineer and photographer here, get a Firacuda SSD or WD black. They outperform Samsung. The firecuda has double the lifespan and faster read/writes. Also you don't need to build a PC. I have 4 4TB Firecudas in an Acasis Case with thunderbolt 4 connectors for my Apple Setup which can also be used to edit on an Ipad Pro. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG SSD

motherboards have a cover plate that usually acts as a heatsink over the m.2

My 990pro doesn't show in the M.S.I B550 gaming Carbon BIOS, can't get it to boot up, all components up to date😪

Finite times you can write to them? Ridiculous. I’m stick with HDD then
I hate to break it to you but the write heads on hdd also have a finite writing life cycle. All these components are wear and tear items even if they take a long time to wear out it will likely happen with anything if you use it enough times.
I can’t get mine to initialize and I’ve tried everything. I went on a different PC to ensure it wasn’t my PC. Idk what to do… should I try and get it exchanged for new one? Could it be the drive itself?
I swapped this out with my default 252gb drive on my HP pavilion. When I did, it told me it wasn't recgonized and I couldn't even log in. Did I miss a step along the way by chance?
Pity that the sandisk Extreme SSD's are failing also

What about using this on PS5 ? Im only seeing 6560 read speeds.
It's pretty maximum PS5 can achieve. No SSD would give you more than ~6600 in PS5, no matter how fast it could be in your PC.
@@Wlad1is it possible that one day Sony could update the ps5s to read higher speeds? If that’s the case then I might as well get a 980 pro, no??
@@dulantos no, it is typical Ryzen through-the-chipset speed. My Ryzen chipset M.2-slot also max out @ ~6,5 GB/s. The 990Pro is better than 989Pro, but mostly in write-speeds and only 5-10% in reads. Within chipset-slot limits it will be 1-2% in games at most. So 980Pro for PS5 is absolutely OK, 990Pro makes sense only if you need 4TB.
