Thank you Jeannine for these wonderful videos. I love watching your process as you journey through the various stages. I’m new to abstract art and find all of your videos fun, interesting and beautiful to watch. I also love how you mix your colours as you go with this one. It’s a great money saver when starting out and also becomes part of the unpredictability of each piece. Thanks for explaining your palette method in a previous comment, I was going to ask the same question. Look forward to the next stage. 🙏🏻🤗🙏🏻
You are most welcome! Having just basic colours really does save you money. I bought quite a lot of premixed colours at the beginning cause it's so tempting, but for a couple of years I have basically just been using primaries, cause I can be so much more specific with my colours. THe palette is a game changer! And also saves you money cause the paint doesn't dry out as fast 😉
Thank you thank you I’m not as scared to cover up and see what it can be - better or not I have learned you can fix things for the better I have learned so much watching your messy stages videos Looking forward to see more!!!
Great video Jeannine! I usually give up in frustration and self doubt in the messy middle. I'm thinking about some old paintings that I have abandoned and maybe giving them another shot.
thank you for sharing your process!!! I'm trying to ask the same questions while I paint and I found it really helpful - especially out loud! I'm curious, how is your palette tray set up? I'm always curious as I see other artists do this as well
Amazing, I love that! For my palette I use a tray with wet paper towels and then baking paper or tracing paper on top. The moisture from the paper towels slowly evaporates through the paper and keeps the paint fresh for hours. If you put a lid (another tray) on top you can keep the paint over night.
I love that you are sharing your thoughts throughout the video. It helps understanding the process. Great work! Very inspiring! ❤
Thank you! I'm so glad what's in my head is helpful 😄

Wonderful! Taking risks is so valuable in art. Most of the time it does pay off.
I love your style Jeannine. Thank you for inviting us to join you on your journey. Love from Girona, Spain. 🌞

Thank you! Oh yes, do that! They might take a completely new direction, it will be exciting for you to see what you can make of them.
They are coming along nicely❤
