Love that you chose "taking risks" as the answer to my epiphany question!
Risk is a powerful tool. Pretty incredible how fast it can accelerate your learning.
I know that euphoric feeling you were talking about when you have an area that is paralysing your progression of a piece and you purposely destroy that section! Omg, the sudden freedom!
Enjoyed all your answers. Happy 24'
So true that it can accelerate your learning. A shame it's so difficult to do ! Happy 2024 to you too!
Thank you Janine for finding the time to answer my question! I will go into my studio after the new Year and begin to paint again, maybe start with my sketch book and painting some squares Happy New Year to you!
Of course! Let me know how it went. Happy New Year!
You and your art are lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Aww thanks! And you are welcome 😉
Lovely video ❤
Thank you Jeannine
Thank you 😊
Thank you Janine, a very interesting Q and A video. Well done on 10k im not surprised. You are lovely to watch work, and to listen to. Have a great Christmas with your family and see you soon...Alioban
Thank you so much, Alioban! Hope you had a great Christmas too!
Thank you so much for sharing your creative journey! Your working process is well-presented and your artwork is so intriguing! Merry Xmas and A Happy New Year, Jeannine!
Thank you so much! A Happy New Year to you too and I hope you had a lovely Christmas.
Thank you for all of these helpful tips.
You are so welcome!
Laura Horn is my favourite artist! She has helped motivate the trajectory of my art practice too. She's a brilliant teacher ❤
The way you described the things that drew you to abstract art really resonated with me, as I always thought representational art was more important and I too found it laborious. Abstract fills me with more satisfaction than anything else and I'm so glad I stopped resisting it ❤
She's indeed a wonderful teacher! I've enjoyed all of her classes.
I'm so glad you also found your way to abstract art. What a world of possibilities!
It is inspiring to watch the progress and challenges of your artistic journey, Jeannine.
Thank you😊
I'm so happy to hear that! I find it so valuable to learn from others' experiences too.
This was a fun and informative video. Enjoy your break and rest over the holidays. I'm excited to see what the new year brings to you and your channel.
Thanks so much! Hope you had a wonderful time too!
I'm excited to get going again after all the end of year distractions.
Great Jeannine, so nice to know a little more about you!😊 your channel is really inspiring, I remember when I started following you we were about 5000 and now, WOW, 10 000, it grew very fast in 5 months!! Congrats🎉. Sooooo, I missed the question box, can I ask a question here?😏 I would like to know if you do this full time now? Are you earning a living from your art, fully? I am just curious, as I am an artist too and would love to do this all the time! Thank you and have a very merry holiday season!☃️
Thanks so much! You are always welcome to ask questions 😄
I was doing my art alongside my full time job until I had my baby in March. I have decided not to go back, so I guess now I am a full-time artist. Or as full-time as can be while taking care of a little one 😉. I'm definitely not earning enough to make a living yet, but it's slowly growing. I am extremely fortunate to have my husband's support in this. It's so difficult trying to grow your business at the same time as working full-time. I'm so lucky I could go all in, but it's of course dependent on everyone's individual circumstances.
Best of luck!
@@jclosestudio thank you for your answer Jeannine! …welllllll, I guess one of my wishes for 2024 is to find a really supportive husband then…🤞🏼😉😅 But, more seriously, it is super that you can do this jump all in, I wish you all the best! And of course, at the pace this channel grows, I’m not worry for you😸…looking forward to the next video and as I understood, probably soon a big announcement (?)!
@@Lightpoetry. Haha yes, I can recommend getting a supportive husband 😂Thanks so much for your lovely wishes! Don't get too excited about the announcement 😉
Congratulations on 10k sub. ❤❤❤ 20k eyes on you 😂🎉🎉❤❤
Thank you so much! It's so strange to think about
