As someone who was terrified by clowns and things in costumes as a child, the depiction of Fizzaroli and the Loo Loo Band is pretty much dead on. That's how it feels when you're five and someone tells you to say hi to a clown.

At 8:16 you can see all the imp assassins here. Two of them, their horns indicate they were born male, with their stripes having thicker white lines, where as the other three, their white lines are thinner, indicating they were born female. And I think that’s super cool 😊
I don’t like how Octavia immediately blames Stolas because like although he is still at fault, if she opened her eyes then she’d see the kind of person her mother is.
Personal point of views are a bitch. From hers, her parents were happy until Stolas fucked up and slept with an imp.
Because we have a more omniscient point of view, we know Stella is a fucking bitch and Stola's marriage was a loveless, arranged one. But all Octavia knows is that her parents seemed happy when she was younger, and as teens are known to do (we ALL did, don't lie), she didn't pay attention until the situation changed. So, without knowing the circunstances not knowing Stella's true face, Stolas is the one at blame here. At least until you pay attention to what Stella is really saying, but no child want to pay attention to what their parents are screaming when arguing. We all liked to think that our parents are all-powerful, inmutable and always happy and there for us.
What doesn't work as well is the fact that, in later episodes, Stellas is really dumb about how she goes with this situation. That speaks badly of Octavia's intelligence.

Accidentally burn him almost to death with that explosion that broke his horns off, burned his limbs off, and caused serious burns to his entire body. There's a reason he's white all over, it's scars from the burns. The only parts that were unburned were his nose and part of his backside. The nose because he was wearing a clown nose at the time

I love how Stolas uses the planets and space during his lullaby. Not just because it's visually beautiful, but you can see in Octavia's room that she loves space (stars on her blanket and space/stars/planet decorations on the walls). He's singing and showing her things that he knows she loves

I like how Octavia listens to a song called "My World Is Burning Down Around Me," and then later her world is literally burning down around her. Not that she cares, safe in her father's arms, like how she didn't care for the solar system's destruction in "You Will Be Okay."
THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL CONNECTION!!!
And Blitzo is responsible for both.

@@raccabracca Just clarification for those who might not be able to infer what you mean, and/or need everything to be spelled out for them (used to include me, but no longer): Blitzø is responsible for both Octavia's home life burning down, as well as Loo Loo Land burning down.
And that’s how you display a falling apart marriage. Stolas is unable to truly explain that he is unhappy with his marriage and pretty sure the reason he stays with her is because for Octavia’s sake.
Or reputation. He's some sort of aristocrat so it was likely an arranged marriage.
I know right, when I watched this episode I knew exactly how Octavia felt, well, except my mom was Stolas. And I love the representation in this.
It would probably be better for Octavia if they got a divorce honestly, but being from a wealthy family thats something that just isn't done.
