probably the worst bosses fromsoft have designed so far, not necessarily hard but it's a battle of attrition wacking away at their ankles for 5 minutes straight... not the best design. atleast they're optional
Such a cheap enemy to put across a thin bridge. The Golem is often hidden from sight behind foliage, shoots a bridge wide cone of fire that phases through all cover and one shots you. 10/10 design.
If you have extra 3 hefty furnace pots, the other sleeping golem in the ruins far easier. Just go to the nearby hill, hit with a bow to awaken the golem. Usually I can pretty easily stance break using ancient dragon lightning but this particular golem you are fighting seems cant be stanced break using the spell. Both have the same rewards.
@@SweetJohnnyCage From Rauh Ancient Ruins West Site of Grace enter the dungeon where there are throwing molten rock, bypass and exit head north. go a little uphill until the edge of the cliff, you will see sleeping golem down the swamp . Hit it to awaken.
How many times do you have to hit him? I’ve hit him so many times with maxed out Bloodhound Fang that usually drops enemies easily and I haven’t gotten him to stagger once.
You can also start from the same grace run past the furnace golem head up to the right and he will come to the edge of the cliff so you can throw pots in for a less of a mess with them jumps he does.
Mine just walked off the bridge. I agro'd him before dropping down and hid behind a double-pillar next to the site of grace after he fired the spiral attack. He randomly fell off after 20 seconds (off the right side)
I don't think this is a fire pot one, but the stones for that spirit spring nearby are actually above it. You'll reach an area above that a little later on.
Died like 50 times trying to get that second stagger while attacking on the ground. If you don’t have at least 3 furnace pots, your best strategy is attacking like shown in this video. Killed him after only 2 attempts. P.S. This golem is much more tough and aggressive than the rest.

Appreciate this big time. I wasn’t aware that you could break their poise

I think it's the same one, he just loses aggro if you start from up top

Alotm
You gotta use something that breaks poise like giant crusher imo

Wtf lol
Is there a wind rift you can take up to the top to throw fire pots in him? Where are the blocks at to unlock it?

@benten4093 Wow that is fucking GENIUS!
Use the Margit shackle it will break the stones to acess the spring

Most annoying thing about this one is that if it falls on the rocks and its head is elevated slightly the crit won't go off
You can just go up top and throw those pots in his head. You did this the hard way 😂
word thats what i was about to say haha you can't even do it to all of them but this one you can lol
How do you get above him?
@pipi-fc5lb you gotta make the run all the way from that grace
Cause he will stop aggro if i fast travel
this one is op
Stop lying this one is not the same as all the others this was is way more aggressive than the others
so hard
