This is amazing. Honiara is way safer than our capital city of Port Moresby by proof that a young expatriate family like yous taking a bus and going around freely with no one intimidating you.
Why i don't like moving around is because of intimidation it provoke me badly, the world is a free land for everyone, but when the government brought this useless constitution everything become some else
Gudfall stroll. Havn't watch all of your vidoes but will do when time permits. One thing I do admired about your vidoes is the simplicity that God has implemented upon your lives. Watching from shineshine coast Australia.
I worked at Honiara Hotel in 2008. I walked through that sidewalks as well during weekends going to Mendana Hotel where my sister works upto now. Seeing these sights somehow put a smile on my face. I understand that they have a shopping mall now and that's great.
I was there in 1991 from your walk through town I see that the city has changed so much. The main street through Honiara was not divided and there was no underground road crossing.
WOOW soo cute your children. Lovekybto see my home city. Have changed a lot. I miss home so much. Your video made me smiling again..Enjoy your walking love it
I remember Michael Owen, the English football star was here in Solomon Islands during his childhood days. I hope your little kids will keep good memories of Solomon Islands when they grew up.😊
I so enjoy your videos with the kids they are so interesting and the kids are beautiful and interactive with your community. They are sure growing up and I am so blessed by your family serving the Lord. The smiles on your faces are always a blessing and encouragement to me. I pray God continues to bless your ministry, keep you all healthy and safe and that many villagers be won to Christ. Your family is a true witness and example for the Lord. Your lives reflect the Lord with your love and compassion for others. God bless you as you humbly serve him. Praying for health issues. God will see you through. He guards you and protects you with the right hand of his righteousness. God bless you, Dawn Smith
Nice to see Honiara. Thank you for the video. There's still attitude problem regarding littering, and the underpass to the Central Market clearly shows the proof. It's wonderful to see Corban enjoyed the walk-about.
Seeing this video makes me think of home, Solomon islands so much 😢. Alot needs to be done for betterment too. Thank you for your videos and be part of our community back home. So happy to see your kids enjoying walking around and he actually pick up stones ahah...recalls My childhood haha ..God bless you too and your missions in Solomon. 🥰🥰🙏🙏

Pietros Mikhailovich It is sad to see the trash everywhere. They used to keep the underpass clean, but it has been really bad recently. Michael has been out west and we all hope to visit soon! Thank you for watching!
Que loco pensar que esto fue justo antes de la pandemia (al menos en Argentina) Crazy to think this was just before the pandemic (at least in Argentina)
Lived in Honiara in the 70s. No paved roads, no buses. Commerce occurred in an funky old chinatown. Yes, for me, those were the best of times. But I acknowledge that Solomon Islanders are entitled to create their own form of “development”.
Life worth living is exactly what you both teaching and showing your two children when, instead of going to town in your air-conditioned car, you choose to commute by public bus, instead of high security-fenced accommodation, you choose a typical property that's neighborly friendly. You let your kids to play in that rough backyard just like any other kids in the solomons do. By the way you talk I guess you are from the states and strolling that day to as far as the ports area where WWII coast watchers memorial monument is erected is a fitting one. A tribute to both local coastwatchers and your fellow country service men who laid down their lives for the better and free world today. Am sure you have ventured out from honiara while you were in the solomons to see and experience other interesting things.
Am not so proud about my country's hygiene, but I for sure miss our traditional foods, being stranded in a COVID19 pandemic country is really stressful.
You giving your sons a great education worth a lot taking them in off beaten track locations. Hats off to you & greetings from Scotland.
Thank you for posting this. I love to learn about other countries and really enjoyed the nice walk and even the pleasant music.

Hello, I also lived in Honiara & I have to correct you. The main road through Honiara was paved & there were buses.
@@homemoviechannelsuper8791 Okay. For you a dusty, dirt road means ‘paved’.

The typical family holiday video that we force our guests to watch when they come home.
