Watching from Taiwan. I love your videos very much as it is very authentic and shows the reality of living in the solomon's. This video particular makes me miss home. I basically grow up in tuvaruhu community. And from where you guys live, our old house use to be few blocks away. It's more of a lay back sort of community. Everyone knows everyone. God bless your family for venturing out to the Pacific spreading Gods word. 🙏🙏
How long are you staying in the solomons for. I grew up there as I kid a few years older than your son. My Dad still lives in honiara. I went to high school back in Australia but used to go back sometimes on the holidays. He owns his own business there now called Greyleen electronics
Well it's an awesome part of the world to live in. You must be getting good at speaking pigeon by now. It's starting to get cold here now but I bet your still nice and warm there. Take care and I hope you and the family have a wonderful day
Your beautiful young family reminds me of another young white American missionary family who moved to Papua New Guinea in the mid 70s to spread the word of God.Their kids mixed with the local kids and they'd all play in the mud,run into the jungle, swim in the rivers etc etc .The missionaries' kids basically grew up in the dirt in a village .After decades in Papua New Guinea the family moved back to America. They classify themselves as Papua New Guineans, and they speak the local language including Pidgin English. One of the kids is now a big musical artist and is currently based in Hawaii. He travels to PNG every now and then. His name is O-Shen.Here he is singing a song about his childhood life in Papua New Guinea.. th-cam.com/video/Fpm1tVzOHms/w-d-xo.html
Watching from 8:56 Bougainville and am happy about your family staying from my country.say living in the village is so nice, but i hope you can visit my beautifully bougainvillea too.they are very nice people, friendly, beautifully,.and peacefull.thanks for visiting my beautiful island.❤❤staying in my village with your family...
Love watching your videos.., keep them coming please, my children are part European and SI but they have not had that much experience of village yet..., lovely experiencing village life especially for kids...
@@harrywilliams4823 Just like any other folks on the planet. Food, water, fish, anything that grow in the gardens are there in the villages on the islands. We have lands to cultivate for crops and small farming. We do not necessarily need money but do so need it to buy clothes and things other necessities we need. Life is the happiest in the islands.
Nice video. And its great to see that you seem to enjoy your stay in Solomon Islands. I'm from the Philippines and had the chance to work as a resident manager in Honiara Hotel for a year and though I live inside the hotel, I hate to say that my stay in the island wasnt that pleasing especially everytime I roam on the streets.
I would love to check out Solomon Islands! I’m coming from the us how easy or difficult it was for you to settle in once you decided to stay? You sound American so I’m curious about visas, cultural differences, etc
Excuse me and correct me if I'm wrong.I have only seen 2 of your videos and I have come to the conclusion that you do not mix/mingle or talk to the locals on your walk abouts .The village walk where there were local children who would love to interact with your children and even adults along the road had no contact with yous-at least that is what I interpret from your video. Are you only missionaries to people whom you are used to or do you only socialise with certain people.I am not from Solo but speak pidgin fluently and understand and can relate to the Solomon Islands culture. You need to show more love.

Thank you for your post. These synthetics learn the people by using the female then the male uses forces against loving people.
Why did you come here?
This is how europe started the takeover of Africa.
You shouldn’t be there unless your doing something useful for the people ,not shoving your religion on them ,
So beautiful 😍
