Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - Spawn of Oggdo Guide

One of the most notorious bosses in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is back to wreak havoc in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Or at least, his spawn is back. Spawn of Oggdo is one of the hardest early optional bosses you can find in Survivor, and we don't recommend trying to take him on until later in the game, but whether you fight him early, or late, you'll need to learn his attacks and patterns, and that's where we come in. Another tip to beat him is to pull the hammer guards above you to take off as much of his health as they can, then you deal with the rest

only guide is to lower your difficulty to lowest because this fight is so unoptimized on hardest, it is a waste of your time and patience

Nah it's doable but with lots of tricks and behaving cowardly. I'm guessing the devs wanted you to do that, how else could you take him down? It's a bad choice.

On Jedi Knight and lower difficulties, the two Rancor actually wait their turn to attack. Which was a crazy difference compared to Jedi Master and Grand Master.

You can cheese the boss by standing behind the chest at the back of the room and swinging through it with the cross guard

You can also avoid fighting the gank droids by immediately turning around as you fall down the trap door (while he's still deaggro'd) and unlocking the shortcut. That way you can go straight to the fight without the annoying runback

Pull in the 2 hammer head dudes, stand above and shoot it. Or go into the fight with the crossguard, using your heavy attack when he's distracted, back off and repeat. Once he finishes the hammer dudes use the crossguard jump force ranged attack. Cheesy way but does the trick

I know this is super late(I just got the game) but if you get yourself halfway stuck behind the chest in the back you can shoot/hit him then dodge back into that space, he can barely hit you enough to kill you then half of his attacks just miss

This is a broken boss. This was created for fallen order with force stop in mind. Guess what, they removed force stop in jedi survivor and now its a metered ability. Follow the other comment and lure the hammer guys and be sure to lower the difficulty. This aint worth the effort.

this boss is stupid. not hard, just really poorly designed. his attacks track you with 100% accuracy through dodge, and he has a 1 shot that also tracks you 100% accuracy lol. whomever designed this should never work on another game again.
