Wolverine is as iconic as Iron Man to a lot of us. He represents the old guard coming into the current MCU and Iron Man the middle guard extending it for a few more years. What a treat for comic book fans to have these two masters of their craft continue creating movies. 💪
Always hated the color combo lol. I just don’t think they go well together and also I’m swedish so it felt way too patriotic and cringe to put yellow and blue together. But wolverine pulls it off so I’ll give him a pass.
24 years ive been waiting 24 years for that costume ive always said there have been two things missing from all the other x-men movies and this costume and the professor x hover chair were it and this costume was worth the wait
It wasn’t his fault, for some reason early 2000s hero movies just never did faithful costumes outside of spider man. Not until Iron Man did things change
Bc of the Matrix. They've said this in many interviews. The Matrix came out right before the first X-Men. It did so well the executives over at Fox were like let's put X-Men in black leather bc people love black leather. Really studio executives have no clue what the audience wants. RDJ and the MCU really changed that. I feel at this point Ryan and Hugh and Shawn made this movie For Us the Fans. Bc it was really tailored to the fans.
So I can tell you why there off Hugh has a skin condition and he can't expose his arms to direct sunlight for long periods of time (he as talked about this) this is why the suit has sleves in the first place So the shots when he is outside in the day his arms are cgi and the pads would have made it more difficult
@@bunnyluv2535yeah - he grew up when the hole in the ozone layer was at it's worst (it's above south eastern Australia) & before Australians were taught to slip slop slap (now we're all so sun conscious we have vitamin d deficiencies lol)
Hugh gave us the first Oscar worthy performance as a superhero in Logan. Unlike other actors portraying superheroes, Hugh has actually transcended the character on the page and in the cartoon. Hugh earned this suit
Its perfect with red Deadpool duo, But personally I still prefer the black suite, may add the yellow, mean black main color, yellow as stripes Black with yellowish lines, pads : Like real wolverine with golden stripes
When he put on the mask the entire theater erupted, I watched it in a small theater and had to watch it 3 times just to finally hear what Deadpool said afterwards because they the audience kept drowning out the sound system.
It took Deadpool to bring out the real Wolverine. Honestly, in the comics I was more a fan of the black, brown and tan outfit, but Hugh rocks the blue and yellow.
The beauty of it is Hugh is the only SuperHero Actor WHO IS YOUNGER THAN THE CHARACTER HE'S ACTING LIKE!! HE CAN PLAY HIM 20 MORE YEARS AND STILL BE PERFECT CASTING! WOLVERINE (IN THE COMICS) is like 200+ yrs old
Not a fan of yellow but I always thought wolverine had one of the best masks and outfits out of the super hero universe of comics. Yellow is good in combos though like blue and black
This is how Ryan Reynolds felt after he was allowed to do a comic book accurate Deadpool after the interpretation we got in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".
I like it too, because it's not THE suit But it is roughly based on that suit. And it's in line with the type and style of suit that they've put him in. Yellow and blue... much like Michigan Wolverines
It’s probably Hugh’s last hurrah as the main star of the movie as Wolverine. But i really wish, he comes back for Secret Wars cuz everybody is gonna be there.
How is it that the first Xmen movie ditched the costumes for being cartoony and childish, coming out with a pg13 rating, and even mocking the idea in the dialogue, but then this movie debuts it in the most explicit super hero movie probably ever and thematically embraces it like a newborn child.
Amen! The cowl scene will be the single movie scene topping them ALL for who knows how many years, or even decades… tops the Avengers End Game scene by a mile. Yes, it took 24 years, but so worth the wait. 👍 Let’s F-ing Go!
To think Fox spent that many years NOT having him wear the proper outfit. Unreal. I can see why they started out not wanting him to wear it, but after all those movies - and even Mangold TEASING the mask at the end of the Wolverine, can't believe its been this long.
WHY has it taken Hollywood 30 years to learn the simple lesson: trust the source material. Give the fans accurate and respectful versions of the comic characters, and they will respond favorably. All those filmmakers that decided to reinterpret or deconstruct the characters usually failed.
Hugh Jackman at some point noticed that. Wolverine’s hair is not originally styled the way he combs it. Weapon X’s iconic hair style is what his hair would naturally look like had he wore the mask and took it off. Lml its mask hair. Lml
Having somebody who genuinely loves playing the character is something we really should appreciate while we still can.
It's like he's the polar opposite to Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.
The next actor will like it too.
@ebolarnator1794 Because he is. Hugh actually enjoys what he does. While Brie is miserable and has no respect for the source material.
@@kenzieuchiha1191 Yeah I know.

He is gonna looking stunning in that suit when disney makes him while he is 90
'Old man Logan’
😂

Clint Jackwood will probably still look like he’s in his 50s 😂
Old Man Logan, for real. 😅
When the cowl went over his face, i f ing lost it. I shed a tear, it was magical.
Its so lovely to see Huge's love of the character. To just hear his excitement/happiness &love for this movie is beautiful
The nerd in me self-combusted when I saw the mask, suit, and Wolverine attack stance.
Same…this little girl in me squealed like a lil girl 🤣
@@candicekellum4020 Marvel really wanted all of us to nerdgasm and it absolutely worked.
I took my 2 teenage sons to see it...and they didn't understand why I literally started quietly squealing when he put up the mask
Honestly the best marvel movie ever made. Pure love letter to fans trying to be as comic accurate as it can be
@@zzodysseuszz I walked out and immediately said the best movie of 2024. I am slightly biased but I literally can't stop thinking about it.

The amount I fangirled in the theater when he first appeared in the suit and then EVEN MORE when he pulled the mask down 😭💜

Homelander???
I feel Hugh Jackman about that suit. That X-Men Wolverine suit is so iconic. The Deadpool and Wolverine movie is so good!
Just saw it and thought that’s the marvel and mcu we know and love. When it feels fun and exciting etc
Mustard & Ketchup giving everyone a 🌭
His Wolverine is like Connerys Bond. It's iconic and he will be the mold for all those that follow

I know that there are too many spoilers in TH-cam and i have watched all of them but i still cant wait to watch the whole movie.
We’ve all been awaiting for the iconic suit since X-MEN yet I’m surprised that it took so long to design it

The shoulder pads are sick. They should have kept it with the sleeves torn off.

I believed the X-Men 1 explanation until I saw my first comic convention
This does put a smile on my face.
It really is the Wolverine I always pictured truly a gift to all us fans
Yeah that costume looked awesome. Marvel did a great job, I even like the sleeves.
Chances are high this was Hugh Jackman's last outing as wolverine and what a way to bow out with the iconic yellow suit
Hope not guess time will tell
Yes, grown men cried, me too 😂😂😂❤❤❤
The design team killed it with the suit.
So True, Hugh
Wow almost 1/4 of a century!!
I'm a comic nerd. Bought time 😊
Gladly Hugh is impressed about his suit version design
Please let this moment be the beginning of Hugh Jackman in the yellow suit forever.

Many fans have wondered the same. The classic outfit it does not standout how you think, it can vanish.
He is the most perfect actor for his character, nobody will play wolverine better hugh
Same with Ryan as Deadpool he nails it perfect

I hope he's in the brown suit for SW
Yes, please, brown suit all day
It’s criminal that they never made him wear that suit.
Hugh's Wolverine hairstyle is amazing!
Wondering what products do they used for the film production?
It's a wig!
I still want to see Wolverine @ 5'4 with 200 lbs of muscle with 1 ton lift capacity & 50 foot vertical leap.
He needs another solo film. Wearing the suit and x23 in hers
It was amazing he finally put the Suit on! I wonder why Fox didn't let Hugh wear it in the early days
Hugh Jackman is good actor made the character famous without wearing the costume
From What we've heard that they gonna make him play wolverine till he is 90 we can surely say that he will play The Old Man Logan Perfectly.
The beauty of it is Hugh is the only SuperHero Actor WHO IS YOUNGER THAN THE CHARACTER HE'S ACTING LIKE!! HE CAN PLAY HIM 20 MORE YEARS AND STILL BE PERFECT CASTING!
WOLVERINE (IN THE COMICS) is like 200+ yrs old
Chronologically yes, but phisically Logan always looks to be like man in his 40s, except for the old man logan comics of course.

Ya that movie was fun and
Loved it but they did Deadpool completely wrong
I don’t think it would have worked back during the Fox era. Materials and fabrication techniques have changed a lot in the last 24 years
The yellow suit colour scheme works beautifully with the deadpool suit.
Perfect suit, men! I wonder why the belt is not red? Either way so dopeee

the suit rules.
Fox really fumbled hard when they teased the yellow suit back then and scrapped it and went all dull black instead
People I cannot believe it’s been 24 years since his man played wolverine my God to wear that time ago my daughter is 24 years old
I love how the “worst” Wolverine has the least flashy hair and little to no volume

He will look better with longer hair like the comics
I like the armoured thick look of the costume. Its how they should do the suits for the rest of the Xmen
If only we could get the rest of the og xmen looking like that all together
Yeah now they actually have to do an X-Force movie where they both get the gray and black suits
One could say She brings out the softer side of sears lol or makes you more rounded in tips lol
The brown and yellow suit is better. Should’ve had that one as the main.

“Until you’re 90…”
Til he’s 90!
Would have like seeing actual Wolverine wearing it for the first time 'Because' he's Wolverine... 🤙🏼😁
The Yellow and Blue Suit for Wolverine is far superior to the Black Leather outfit that they made him wear for the last 20 years
Till you're 90
Amazing their will never be another wolverine
BROWN!
Wish his hair was longer and wild like the comics
Certain variants have the right hair
His cameo of Age of Apocalypse Logan had long wild hair, and it looked badass and funny at the same time.
But he looks badass with short hair.
Did he never try on the one from the suitcase at the end of The Wolverine?
he is so good man , all males example
Problem is in the 90s they would have had done something horrible like have Versace design the suit.
