Geoff's always been one of my AH favs, but honestly he's secured his spot as my favourite over the past couple of years especially. Seeing him get sober and essentially becoming the dad to the AH community has been amazing to watch.
I think my favorite Geoff clip is the one from that haunter episode where he talks about his insecurities during an investigation, and the EVP goes off every time the other AH boys reaffirm how important he is to all of them. That and the last clip of this make me cry every time.
I legit just commented about that, too. Such a hard scene to watch at first, just seeing him insulting himself over and over, but the rest of the boys were there for him and brought a genuine smile back to his face. Not gonna lie, I still choke up when I see it.
I don’t really watch old Achievement Hunter videos with Geoff in them anymore to be honest. New Geoff is such an inspiration, and I love him with all of my heart. To see where he was to where he is now is absolutely crazy to see, and I couldn’t be more proud of him!
I feel the same way about Geoff. I like the man that he is now and I don't care for watching any content with him in it pre-2017. I also feel this way about the rest of the crew. I just like where they all are now- I like how much of a Dad Michael is sometimes, I like how Jack just goes with the flow, I like seeing Matt in so much content, etc. I could talk about every member. I noticed this change started in 2017 when Geoff took his sabbatical. I don't really like watching super old content anymore. The furthest I'll go back is 2017.
It has been quite the journey watching Geoff grow as a person. For a while, I really thought he was going for a horrific downward spiral. Yet despite everything that has happened, the man still tries to get better. Respect.
He's a complete fumbling idiot and a sharp, smart, entrepeneur. He's a chaotic buffoon and a warm kind friend. He hasn't the first idea what is going on at any moment, and he is living his dreams beyond anything I ever will. I genuinely admire this guy. Talking about doing it his way.
I love how Michael at some point starts staring at the tablet while Geoff rambles Edit: Alright. I always tear up when that last clip plays. It's so from the heart and Geoff has been making really strong strides to stay away from alcohol by this point that you know it's nothing but the truth

He's so creative and can be so kooky but also is so good at having just very public moments of pure vulnerability, I think he's a great role model
