but then the striker won't get enough service due to the lack of creativity by the wingers (who's goals will dry up) and midfield you will over rely on robbo's and trent's crossing and once teams learn to deal with that you will fail, firmino is arguable the most important player in your team and if you are to get a proper striker you will need to get a coutiniho style player in the midfield which klopp proved their system was better without.
@@aidenhassan4880 Maybe but last season we had no problem creating chances but we had trouble converting them (just look at the stat on that video). These suggestions are good but it does depends on sales and that’s not about money. LFC need striker cover resolved now as CAF CAN moves back to January this season, however unless an overseas player is sold the incomer will have to be a UK player as LFC are already over the limit for overseas players in the squad. I think you missed this angle in making up your list and why if 2 from Origi, Shaqiri & Minamino don’t leave LFC this summer you could see James Maddison or Dele Alli considered. Klopp is currently working with Ox in that role for pre-season as the fall back position.
Iheanacho? Granted the guy had a decent second half to the last season, but I think it’s very unlikely he’ll feature on Liverpool’s radar, especially when you consider how much he would cost. Believe there is better business to be had.
Surprised this video didn't mention the fact that Ox was playing there at the end of last season, and this has continued into pre-season. It looks like that is Klopp's preferred solution, moving Ox to false 9, and they're instead focusing their recruitment on a Gini replacement.
Klopp is trying out Oxlade-Chamberlain in this role in pre-season. We signed Minamino for this role as well and he failed to impress so it's clear that Klopp agrees that we need strengthening in backup to Firmino.

Good list! However, I don't think Gouiri would get sufficient playing time on the left wing due to Mane and Jota already being there. So it'll be difficult easing him into the lineup that way.
Firmino role can only be played by player that can trap and find space (with ball) and had wide defensive area (without ball) that is the problem of Minamino, he neither can trap nor finding space, but had wide defensive area, the hype before he joined Liverpool only because he is creative but didn't have those particular ability that why the backup for Firmino was Mane and Gini who had ability for both with and without ball at some level no player above had those two ability, and Iheanacho LOL the only backup plan for CF position is changing role like in early Klopp era with Benteke or heavy metal football that only need running and stamina in all player
Liverpool weren't reliant on Salah for goals, Mane had just as many chances and Firmino wasn't far behind. The latter two just couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo last season. Jota being out for 2 months really hurt Liverpool. No Jota, no goals. That was the case January-March.
I think Klopp wants a proper no9 now and play with a CAM. Hence intrest in Werner before going for Jota. I think they should go for someone younger as the bulk of the team is aging. I'd take someone like Adam Hlozek. Gutted we missed out on Patson Daka.

Bad here is that Jota was signed as a back up, and Liverpool doesn't have good back up forwards :/ Origi is not on the same level as Mane and Salah, same for Minamino, and Shaqiri don't fit in Klopp's system, he can't press and he's slow.

Taki seemed the perfect player to slot in the false 9 role, but it hasn't worked, although a lot of fans were upset that Klopp wasn't giving him any playing time, even after scoring in the 7-0 win over Palace, then not being picked again for 6 weeks despite Firmino's poor form, then being sent out on loan.
From a Man Utd fan, Roberto Firmino can be trolled but he is an amazing forward whatever u say
It's a number 9 striker that we need. Someone tall to get on the end of trent's and robbo's crosses. Vlahovic or isak for example
but then the striker won't get enough service due to the lack of creativity by the wingers (who's goals will dry up) and midfield you will over rely on robbo's and trent's crossing and once teams learn to deal with that you will fail, firmino is arguable the most important player in your team and if you are to get a proper striker you will need to get a coutiniho style player in the midfield which klopp proved their system was better without.
It won't work a striker for liverpool
@@aidenhassan4880 Maybe but last season we had no problem creating chances but we had trouble converting them (just look at the stat on that video). You have a point that mane and salah will score less but as Tifo said we cant rely on them and you should do what is best for the team not the players.
Klopp is currently working with Ox in that role for pre-season as the fall back position.
a sensible transfers video about a potential RB/RWB for Bayern might be nice!
Max Aarons, Dubois and Maehle. Sorted
Basically old fashioned second forward/smaller along side the targetman on a traditional 4 4 2,
3:40 onwards for Gouiri Is exactly why I'd sign him (if available at the right price and wants the move)
Minamino is the perfect replacement for Bobby. But it is not a false 9 that they need. The requirement is for a proppa no. 9 who is capable enough to score 20-25+ goals each season and is ruthless in front of goal.
I think Liverpool already have Takumi Minamino and also Alex Oxlade Chamberlain providing the same set of skills as the players listed. Liverpool really need a good orthodox forward to take some pressure off of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah
That’s what Jota is for. Ox is also more suited to play that role too. We need the false 9 badly
@@jonaldinho_ yes maybe you are correct. But fans always want more signings. Maybe Taki needs a chance to prove. He played alongside Haaland in his former club and still was just as good as him.
@@vedantmahajan558 he’s 26. He’s been at Liverpool for 2 years and simply isn’t up to the level required.
@@jonaldinho_ brother that's coz he hasn't been given enough chances. We felt the same with Nat, but now with enough chances given, I feel he's the same level as Gomez and Matip
@@vedantmahajan558 Nat Phillips the same level as Gomez / Matip? Are you mad? He turns like a truck, terrible on the ball and can’t keep a high line. We changed our entire system so he wouldn’t be exposed. Minamino has played 26 games with us and was at Soton too. He’s had his chances and just isn’t the quality we need
Thank God... Been waiting for this one for a long time now 🙌🏿😅
I think they should look to PSV for this specific player I know of
It’s been 2 years and I miss this voice telling us whom to buy. Not tifo IRL
What does Tifo use to make their videos. I really admire their work
C'mon Tifo Liverpool is not even looking for a False 9 in the market nowadays. Bring a video on a Gini replacement, 2nd RW option and a Pure striker, which liverpool is currently looking.
thank you for actually using Street fighter 2 Guile pic...I knew i liked the vid from that point on
How about jones ? His skills and ball control similar to Bobby.
This video just boosted the value of these players
Nah
with vardy aging iheanacho will become a bigger part of the leicester set up, and might command a bigger fee than he's really worth. i dont doubt the fit, but i dont like the money they'd likely pay
Good list! However, I don't think Gouiri would get sufficient playing time on the left wing due to Mane and Jota already being there. So it'll be difficult easing him into the lineup that way.
Liverpool wont buy a No.09 this summer. Ox is being used in pre season as false 9 back up.
And thats the problem
Cunha would be the perfect Firmino replacement
I like this video a lot. The players suggested here are so good,Gouiri is a wonderful Footballer.
Love the Guile cameo
Firmino role can only be played by player that can trap and find space (with ball) and had wide defensive area (without ball)
that is the problem of Minamino, he neither can trap nor finding space, but had wide defensive area, the hype before he joined Liverpool only because he is creative but didn't have those particular ability
that why the backup for Firmino was Mane and Gini who had ability for both with and without ball at some level
no player above had those two ability, and Iheanacho LOL
the only backup plan for CF position is changing role like in early Klopp era with Benteke or heavy metal football that only need running and stamina in all player
I've fancied Lautoro Martinez...can play as a 10, or a false 9...maybe some 8 as well?
This is why I was gutted when Utd bought fernandes, linked with us for ages and we never bit. ruthless and creative
No mention on ibrahim sangare???
Sensible transfers: a substitute for Koulibaly for Napoli
as always quality content but I MISS THE (longer) POD VERSION (from last year) SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH 😭
The video editor is doing the most out here. ALL THE INTRO's for the pictures and texts.
How about Sangare for that False 9 position
Liverpool weren't reliant on Salah for goals, Mane had just as many chances and Firmino wasn't far behind. The latter two just couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo last season. Jota being out for 2 months really hurt Liverpool. No Jota, no goals. That was the case January-March.
I think Klopp wants a proper no9 now and play with a CAM. Hence intrest in Werner before going for Jota. I think they should go for someone younger as the bulk of the team is aging. I'd take someone like Adam Hlozek. Gutted we missed out on Patson Daka.
Nah i think he stick with the false 9 and 2 inside fowards
Illanacho would fit in perfectly 😍💯
Yeah, I agree, but I doubt Leicester would be willing to sell, not for a massive sum anyway.
What whiteboard software do you use?
Cruel of you to forget about Kelechi in the city/leicester game in late 17/18
What about Phil phoden and kbd ?
No mention for A.Isak?
Good shout!!!
Two nobodies and a player who deliberately misses to help out his former side.
No Donyell Malen?
Hw is dortmund player now so he will be available in probably 2/3 years
@@kathanshah8305 sorry I hadn’t seen that it was completed at the time
Fav series..
well... Diogo Jota is a hard pressing monster, he should take the position of Firmino. Bad here is that Jota was signed as a back up, and Liverpool doesn't have good back up forwards :/ Origi is not on the same level as Mane and Salah, same for Minamino, and Shaqiri don't fit in Klopp's system, he can't press and he's slow.
I’ve never seen tifo make any good suggestions in this series
