I don’t think it’s sensible to give someone that’ll be 30 around 400-500k per week. You don’t give a 30 year old that sort of contact unless it’s 1 or 2 years. To much of a risk, contract probably should be been renewed 2 years ago to earn him that sort of money over his prime rather when he’s approaching the end of it and will start to decline at some point during his next deal
@@danielbowers8124 Is not a risk if you already know in first hand how he played for the team for 5 years. We also know other clubs are already negotiating and these clubs can easily pay the 6m at the snap of a finger FSG are not doing anything. They are not active in preventing issues, only reactive to issues as they arise - it's pathetic. This is the difference between our ownership and the likes of Chelsea/City - and guess which clubs have won more trophies despite us having a better starting XI? They can be interested all they like but unless they lift a finger we dont sign anyone, and we never tried to sign Bowen. This is all FSG's fault and by their own design. We are the only club in world football at the top level that spends at a TINY percentage of the means available.
Amine Gouiri is the perfect Firmino understudy. A box to box CM is then needed… someone like De Paul but he went in the summer so they should look for someone like Konrad Laimer he can play as the 6 or a box to box 8, works his socks off and can be the Kante like water carrier alongside Fabinho and someone more creative like Harvey Elliott, Thiago etc
Interesting to watch this after we signed Diaz. Used him over the last few years on Fifa and he seemed like a good prospect with the key thing being his age being around the same as when all of the current forward players arrived
Would highly recommend Liverpool to get Nkunku. Unbelievable player already. Watching RB Leipzig almost every week, I can tell he has some serious future ahead
Well guys, we might as well skip this one. We all know we ain't signing anyone. If we're lucky, Salah might be our new signing For argument sake, I'd argue that we need an overhaul in midfield with atleast another high energy engine player and a creative but hardworking midfielder too. And another forward.
And a backup RB, and a backup DM I hate how FSG never address squad issues as a matter of urgency until it's already too late, e.g. not replacing Lovren, which ruined our campaign last season
I am very surprised they didn't addressed the midfield at all. When Liverpool struggled with injuries this season, they missed players who can transition the game from defence to offence with ease and play piercing passes. In addition, they have not replaced Wijnaldum and the contacts of Ox and Keita will expire in 2023.
Surprised central midfield wasn’t mentioned. A technical, hardworking midfielder that can press is crucial. Henderson has been off his game for much of the season and he’s ageing, and Thiago is simply too injury prone despite his excellence. Tielemans would be good, or Bissouma, but both would be expensive.
They’ve got a lot of very promising talent coming through there, like Elliott and Morton. Milner still has a couple of years in the tank and Henderson many more. And plus, the front three is the most important position for their system in terms of output.
@@bens4602 I politely disagree . Having watched so many games , we need new midfielders more than strikers . Henderson isn't providing what he used to . Trent moving forward leaves spaces behind which need to be covered but many times that hasn't happened . Henderson's best games have been where Thiago is playing. Because he can hold the ball so well means we don't have to defend much . However he is injured all the time . In his absence midfield gets bypassed so easily so the cbs and gk have to bail us out far too many times . A midfielder signing is needed. Although yes we have pretty good players like Elliot Jones and Morton coming up
@@bens4602 I agree there’s talent but I think Morton and Elliot are far too young as of right now. A midfield of Morton, Jones and Elliot may well be the future of Liverpool but right now they’d probably be overwhelmed. That’s why I think a young but mature midfielder with PL experience to bridge the gap is important. Henderson definitely has some years left, I really can’t say the same about Milner though. He looks so slow every time he plays, always a little behind play and making silly fouls.
@@mclovinjr9086 Milner hasn’t long but there’s quality there. His assist vs Leicester in the League Cup was phenomenal. But you’re fair in what you say - pace and additional security wouldn’t go amiss.
@@sushovansarkar9428 I wasn’t aware Henderson had gone off that much - maybe more a dip than a collapse. Pace and additional security would help, you’re right. Always thought Fabinho was the key to the Liverpool midfield. Very Rodri type player. Maybe that’s what they need - someone who just can make it tick more.
I'm extremely surprised that not even one midfielder is on the list. Even though Liverpool has a lot of midfielders, they are better going forward than controlling the game. Only Thiago and Fabinho (and Henderson to a lesser extent) can do that. Rather than bring in three attackers in one window, spreading out over several windows and fixing the midfield will be more appropriate
I think the idea was an Attacker should be priority for a single transfer and those are 3 options for the one transfer. Agreed though, Liverpool could really use a midfielder. Henderson has been in really bad form this season when not injured. Everybody else keeps getting injured and its an aging area of the pitch. Wijnaldum was never replaced. I know we won't, but I'd live to see one player come in this window. Somebody like Nkunku.
Exactly right - we've scored 80+ goals this season, that is not the problem. The problem is fit and reliable midfielders with the energy and skill to carry out Klopp's tactics. Sell the Ox, Minamino, Keita (P/ex Dortmund?) and bring in Bissouma, Bellingham, and possibly a Raphina/Diaz signing to provide competition for Mane. It would mean spending circa £100m net, but it would freshen the squad, bring down the average age and improve the quality no end.
West Ham have a strong group of 23 first teamers with decent youth, I wouldn’t describe them as being ‘very limited’ especially given they have spent well over 100m NET over the past 18 months.
@@joshlcfc8433 West Ham still have a Single true striker though. Working out so far, however someone who can challenge/ offer something different to Antonio would be good.
We need midfielders more than attackers. Naby Lad and Ox are inconsistent and injury prone, Milner is 36, Hendo isn’t getting younger, and Fabinho and Thiago can’t do it alone. The only 2 non starting players I 100% trust to come in and be good almost every time are Jones and Elliott. Morton is still young, so maybe he’ll come good, and the same with Leighton Clarkson. But we need more consistent faces. Keita and Ox are both brilliant at times, but are also prone to inconsistency. Also replacing Wijnaldum’s minutes is still crucial, because we’ve yet to do that still, and it shows on the pitch
True, but if Liverpool go 4-2-3-1 and only need two midfielders then Fabinho-Thiago behind a front four and backed up by Keita, Ox, Jones and Elliott would be plenty of bodies. Just depends if Liverpool want to move to something other than the front 3. I'm surprised they didn't push harder for Havertz.
@@Teaandephemery 4231 is rarely used by Klopp. Only when we’re in search of goals, does it ever get used. For us, it’s a very counterattacking formation. But since everyone nowadays knows we like a counter attack, they sit deeper. And when they don’t, they’re of such low quality anyway, that we tend to stick to 433. Thiago, Henderson, and Fabinho is a phenomenal midfield, but it rarely plays due to rotation and injuries, particularly to Thiago. That’s why Curtis Jones is as promising as he is: plays the left side of a 3, is very dynamic, is brilliant with the ball, and relatively injury free (barring his recent freak eye injury).
Bowen is an out and out rightwinger, and with Salah being available all of the time, I dont see him getting much gametime. Even if Salah gets injured, which is very unlikely, Bowen isnt really a creator and relies on service, and with Mane not doing well atm, and Jota also being a poacher, you have heavy reliance on Firmino for service, which is a lot. I think they should get a leftwinger who can create chances for others and himself, someone like Luis Diaz, or a creator that can play both wings, like Raphinha.
@@sdb7901 Have you ever seen WHU or Bowen play?! He is not an out and out rightwinger, far from it and has deputised brilliantly for Antonio, centrally, this season and played many different positions in different systems since arriving at WHU (my club). He is also one of the most creative players at the club.
@@gluestix17 not saying he isnt creative. Im saying he doesnt create things out of nowhere, he just isnt that type of player. He gets into good positions and gets good service from those positions where he can get his goals and assists. What we see from Salah this season is that he creates things out of nowhere for others (poachers) to score. Biggest example, his assist against Wolves for Origi. If you sign Bowen and dont tweak the system, then you will have the same kind of performance like against Arsenal yesterday
A perfect Bobby Firmino type player would be Dani Olmo. The only thorn in his case is the injury he got this year in Leipzig which kept him out for quite a bit. For Mane's side the perfect guy would be KamalDeen Sulemana that plays for Rennais. He is now in the African Cup of Nations with Ghana. He plays exactly like Mane , so there won't be any transition there really once he overtakes Mane. I also like Nkuku a lot. He can do tricks but he also knows how to be important om te pitch and not waste attacks and balls. For Salah there should be no signing there in his position if he signs. It's a position Harvey Elliott can play every here and there for the off chance Salah will ever miss a game. And with Jota in the picture as well we are more than ok. Midfield is where the problems lie even now , and i was surprised that tifo didn't even mention it. Ageing Hendo, Milner one or two years from stopping. We need a Bellingham just because he plays exactly like Hendo (maybe minus the strong tempo of Hendo), he pushes forward and shields his attacking players for when they lose the ball, so we can have second chances in the game. It's a thing we miss already without Gini on the one side and Hendo on the other being off and on in games.
@@callumpartridge625 watching all the highlights in addition to them playing us in the champions League i like the player as well. But Kamaldeen is more of a piercer in the final 3rd. That being said I love kamaldeen, I watched his first games for rennes this season and he was miles better than everyone on the pitch, I think he's still needing a stepping stone before Liverpool, still only 19. Diaz already has international comps and champions league under his belt as well. I would be very happy with either but I think Diaz is the best option at this moment
I would've liked a midfield inclusion as well. Liverpool have just 1 midfielder aged 20-28 and have struggled for creativity from the midfield when Thiago isn't playing
I'm not sure about him, but maybe Jonathan David from Lille is a good Firmino replacement. I suspect he doesn't have anywhere near the defensive numbers but he is kinda that sort of 9 / 10 hybrid player. Iheanacho though is a great shout, underrated player.
I think we need midfielders more than we need attackers. Milner's become a liability, Keita and Thiago are class but mostly unavailable, Ox and Hendo have declined and Cujo and Elliot are still too young. We don't have that creative midfielder who can dribble and create chances as we haven't broken down teams who like to defend. 0 goals against teams with 10 men says enough tbh

The no.1 target should be Luis Dias, Liverpool do not need another false, and Klopp has been trying to reshape that team in a while now. Since the targeted Werner and eventually signing Jota. Klopp's intention has always been signing a no.9 that and also play wide. Saka won't be good enough, not is Tete or the other names mentioned. Luis Dias is Luis Suarez's second coming and should be priority. Nkuku is a good shout but only for a backup. Liverpool need right now someone to challenge Mane Salah Jota properly. The next one is CM, box to box, high pressing CM that also has an eye for a pass and break thru from midfield. The best fit is Bellingham and Bissouma. With Milner Hendo Thiago, Ox's expiring contract. Would be wise to sign them both.
Liverpool fan here: out - Nat Phillips (too good to sit on bench), Minamino (not clinical enough), Milner (aging), Karius (useless), Adrian (terrifyingly bad and we have Alisson, Kelleher, and Pitaluga in the U23 side Assuming we sort out 2 contracts and leave 1 whether that be Firmino or Mane that leave (surely Salah stays) in- Christopher Nkunku, Iheanacho, or Karim Adeyemi in attacking roles (need 2 of those). Also need help in central midfield. Thiago and Keita arent working out due to fitness issues. Milner is older than dirt and his contract expires in summer. Keita and Ox expire 2023 and Henderson has been woeful. They HAVE to have someone who can break down defenses and is an attacking minded CM. Fabinho is wonderful defensively and Hendo is good as a captain and servicable player though he has been poor lately. My picks- Franck Kessie, Florian Nehaus, Zakaria, or Aurelien Tchouameni (2 of these players will be needed assuming we let Milner go and dont renew 1 of the 2 with keita or ox) But I've put more effort into this comment than FSG have into signing players since 2018 so i doubt we will get what we need. Negative net spend since 2018 and not looking like that will change. Net spend below huddersfield. Embarassing
Liverpool have Harvey Elliot as the eventual replacement for Salah. He will need plenty of game time when he returns to full fitness to help him reach his potential. Bowen I'd think would replace Firmino
Great video. I was the first to complain about Arsenal's transfer video. This one is solid! Nkunku definitely a Firmino type of player than a pure wide player!
the sensible transfer for liverpool , in my opinion, is in midfield, the forward line next. Henderson, Milner, Thiago are aging. Keita, Chamberlain are sick notes. Elliot is unknown, especially after this terrible injury. That only left with Jones and Fabinho.

Personally I believe Jarrod Bowen would be the best forward signing Liverpool could make. Very versatile, can play across the line, is good off both feat and most importantly a very hardworking player used to high pressing football currently with West Han
I think depth is the most important thing for Liverpool. They've been pummeled by injuries the last few years, and as long as the arriving player is talented and fits the system, just having more bodies will help reduce the reliance on a few key players. Part of the reason City has been so dominant is that the can basically put together a PL quality midfield from the midfielders they don't play in any one game.
Liverpool’s biggest issue is finding someone who like firminho doesn’t mind taking a back seat and putting In the defensive work rate, despite being the number 9. benzema did it for years at Madrid, Cavani did at PSG and Rooney often did it at United but players like that don’t come around too often
The Nkunku transfer would be great. If Origi leaves soon the Iheanacho signing would be a good support role until firmino finishes up his time with Liverpool.

Think the ageing midfield is a bigger issue. Even if you assume all 3 of the forward line's contracts are left to run out (which they won't), you're going into 22/23 with a year onto the age of players who are already starting to look tired. Fabinho is secure but need to be looking for a more appropriate replacement for Henderson. Every game where Liverpool have been lacklustre in this season is because of the midfield.
In FSG we trust, no one will be bought this winter or maybe a midfielder next summer. Salah renewal is probably not gonna happen as well. Mane or firmino will get an extension but not both. Fsg is dedicated to make the club a profit churning machine with minimal investment.
Minamino has taken a couple of years to grow into his role; Jones has been on a similar trajectory. Kabak was an example of what happens when you are thrown straight into this level of team. Any succession planning for the wingers/wide strikers begins now! Sidenote: The obvious choice to step up during AFCON would have been Harvey Elliot, and it looked like that was the plan with him playing right off the bat earlier this season. Shame for the young lad and for Klopp's plans, but hoping he'll continue to show his talent into 2022/23.
@@lupin5135 I get where you're coming from, but he seemed to firmly establish himself last year at Blackburn and held his own in the first few games this season. Enough for Klopp to start him. Turns 19 this year - crazy how good he is already! Perhaps he'll go through the same sort of growth as TAA, maybe filling out a bit and getting stronger and his goals and assists can increase over the same period.
Tsimikas looks like he could battle for a starting spot once Robertson starts declining so really we just need cover for Trent. I think the jury is still out as to whether Nico is that player.
I think Tito are typically spot-but while the contract situation and age of the front three is a looming crisis our biggest weakness this season has been the midfield. While they’re hard working without Thiago they severely lack creativity and are reliant on Milner or young / hungry but relatively unproven talent. We need a world class midfielder to ensure that we get the best out of our current front three and bring any new talent up to speed.
Very good analysis and simply put. I think saka was a bit of a wild shout but nkunku would be a good addition. Add a midfielder such as Bellingham and another fast intelligent forward to come off the bench and that’s solid business. Given last years spend there will definitely be uproar if nothings brought in this year
What liverpool has been missing this season is a Gini type of midfielder. There have been a number of games where our midfield is completely overrun. Henderson is no longer as industrious as he was a few years back. Strong, technical and can hold the ball well. The one that can dominate the midfield.
Any chance of a Brighton sensible transfers? Don’t even support them but i’m a huge fan of what Potter’s doing over there and i’m a big admirer of Lamptey and a few others in the squad. But they seem just short of that quality in the final third and creativity in midfield that they need to score more goals and dominate games. Their work ethic, organisation, structure and style are everything most fans want from their team and how they are run as a club just quietly going about their business is all a great example for the majority of clubs in the country to aspire to.
The same FSG that bought VVD, Alisson, Fabinho, Mane, Salah, Jota and Konate? I'm not an FSG fan by any means, but lets not pretend they are stupid just bc they are cheap and greedy.

Liverpool have a strong squad, only a better mezzala could come in handy, a goal scorer, Keita and Henderson are not like that. I don't know who could be, Couthinho is unlikely to come back. It would be nice to have a wide bench like Man City and Chelsea, but it is not an easy matter, on the one hand Klopp does not like to rotate the squad like Tuchel and Guardiola, which means that current substitutes often do not have a match rhythm, and on the other hand, FSG will not want to overpay for substitutes.
I still feel like Liverpool need to strengthen in midfield. They did not replace the underrated Winaljdum which I find strange considering how important he was to Liverpool's press. Milner and Henderson aren't what they used to be. Keita's fitness makes him unreliable and the Ox hasn't really progressed since his Arsenal days. They should be looking at Bissouma from Brighton and maybe one of the Lyon midfielders like Bruno Guimaraes, Caquaret and Lucas Paqueta. Nkunku would be an excellent signing and I also think Moussa Diaby of Bayer Leverkusen is another versatile forward that Liverpool should be looking at.
As a Liverpool fan, the perfect transfer window this summer in my opinion would be to bring in Nkunku, Gouiri, and someone like Tyler adams or Konrad Laimer (cover at the 6 behind Fabinho with versatility to play other positions)

I think that this video is not complete. You should have talked about the midfield which is actually extremely disapointing at the moment. Trent plays so high UP the pitch partly because liverpool's midfield isn't as energetic as it used to be (look at the matches againts Chelsea and City). Knowing that Ox, Keita are most likely to leave, Thiago is often injured, this seems like their main priority in my opinion. What about Renato Sanches, Kessie, Fabiàn, Malinovskiy, Paqueta ? They would all provide something that Liverpool crucially lack. Moreover, a reminder of your article about replacing firmino would have been a really cool to mention (Gouiri, David). Last but not least, how about end-of contrat players ? Dybala will surely not re sign at Juventus and is perfectly suited to this role. I am a little bit upset tbh.
Their main talents are in defence and midfield? Stewart and Cannonier are two of the most exciting forwards in the nation right now! More creative players needed maybe, like a Firmino, but their academy already has the finishers.
Liverpool need to first start making space in their squad through departures. We have a sell to buy policy and it's a pivotal time for us. This vid doesnt mention it but mid is an issue too. Hendo is 31, Thiago is 30 and injury prone. Beyond that the midfield looks very thin. In this summer I think: Ox, Keita, Neco, Nat Phillips, maybe Mane all get sold. Adrian, Milner, Origi leaving on a free. That should be enough for the club to buy one mid and a forward who nobody rates but suddenly turns elite under Klopp.
What talents in midfield? Our midfield is severely lacking atm IMO. We're starting most games these days with a 36 year old James Milner who no longer cuts the mustard. Coming off the bench we have a serial flop artist in Keita and injury prone Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain. Jones is looking okay but isn't there yet and so far we're having the same issue with Thiago as we're having with Chamberlain in that we can't keep him on the pitch for more than a few games.

We desprately need a backup DM, Zakaria is available for 6m now and free in the summer and has apparently been on our radar for years - NOT A SINGLE WORD has been exchanged between clubs/player and our club. We also know other clubs are already negotiating and these clubs can easily pay the 6m at the snap of a finger
FSG are not doing anything.
Gouiri plays nothing like Firmino
not a Liverpool fan but I am a big fan of Laimer. he would be perfect for Klopp
only Bissouma and Bellingham for me
Interesting to watch this after we signed Diaz.
The race for Nkunku is ramping up then
I'm sure Klopp will take your advice........😂
Anthony Martial at Monaco vibes.. looks good in a farmers league but clearly not physical enough for the Orem

Well guys, we might as well skip this one. We all know we ain't signing anyone. If we're lucky, Salah might be our new signing
For argument sake, I'd argue that we need an overhaul in midfield with atleast another high energy engine player and a creative but hardworking midfielder too. And another forward.
And a backup RB, and a backup DM
I hate how FSG never address squad issues as a matter of urgency until it's already too late, e.g. not replacing Lovren, which ruined our campaign last season
LFC, FSG don't want to spend money if they could use a youth player instead n still be competitive, bring money from competitions
Agree. LIVERPOOL won't be buying this winter. Summer transfer are usually their busiest
Liverpool should've dominated, owners have failed the manager.
Feel like a new signing
I am very surprised they didn't addressed the midfield at all. When Liverpool struggled with injuries this season, they missed players who can transition the game from defence to offence with ease and play piercing passes.
In addition, they have not replaced Wijnaldum and the contacts of Ox and Keita will expire in 2023.
Still would love to see Trent get a run in midfield
@@EMPAYDEE why?
Liverpool went for Luis Diaz from Porto who wasn't even mentioned in this video
Yes. Anyone who watched the games where Liverpool dropped points will know that there is lack of control in midfield.
Well tbf Nkunku used to play in midfield so in a way a midfielder was on the list
@@rorybessell8280 Nkunku is more of an offensive player. The midfielder has to be more defensive for better controlling of matches
Nahh, FSG will renew Milner's contract and Jurgen will say "It's like a new singing" 👌🏻
Nkunku and Adeyami would be my dream signings for Liverpool this summer.
Adeyemi won't want to sit on the bench. Nkunku would be great though.
Lucas Paqueta and Nkunku are so similar statistically it’s amazing
As a Wolves fan, I think Neto would fit perfectly at Liverpool. Young, technical, quick, hard working, can score and assist with ease, left-footed.
What a player he is. One of my favorite to watch in PL.
An opinion question, which of Neto or Ruben Neves would fit the Reds best from Wolves?
West Ham sensible transfer, as they continue to fight on multiple fronts with a very limited squad depth
@@Hyde_Hill agree. Sesko or Alvarez would be good options from Salzburg and River Plate respectively
James Ward-Prowse and John McGinn - I’d get both.
We never replaced Gini, and it absolutely is showing in our lack of ability to retain the ball
FSG:The best I can do is a cup of coffee and 3 quids
Great video, add back the ending graphic of suggested players in the lineup in the next one please!
not sure entirely about this but maybe Jared Bowen would work in Liverpool's attacking line, especially if he keeps up the output he's had this season
@@sdb7901 you say he isnt creative but he does have 7 assists so far this season

6:39 Liverpool's Arsenal!
(i know, couldn't resist xD)
Been saying this for ages. Dani Olmo in full fitness is the ideal Firmino replacement
I would take Luis Diaz over Kamaldeen
Dani Olmo is a baller, I remember seeing him on an Euro match in which he was everywhere on the pitch
@@callumpartridge625 watching all the highlights in addition to them playing us in the champions League i like the player as well. But Kamaldeen is more of a piercer in the final 3rd. Creativity will come from the other side of the pitch for us with Harvey Elliott, Salah and Trent. That being said the Porto lad can defo walk his way into the net from what i 've seen. But Kamaldeen looks more straight forward, he just wants to go for goal , a bit more aggressive ,more jurgen klopp type.
@@alejandromate4071 thats interesting because I view Luis diaz as one of the more direct wingers/inside forwards in the game, the guys got great skill but when he picks a line no one is stopping him. And look at his copa America performance this year too, he was probably player of the tournament.
Liverpool have just 1 midfielder aged 20-28 and have struggled for creativity from the midfield when Thiago isn't playing
harvey recovering also is considered a signing
Ox is completely done. It’s time for him to be shipped off to Bournemouth, Burnley or one of those clubs

out - Nat Phillips (too good to sit on bench), Minamino (not clinical enough), Milner (aging), Karius (useless), Adrian (terrifyingly bad and we have Alisson, Kelleher, and Pitaluga in the U23 side
Assuming we sort out 2 contracts and leave 1 whether that be Firmino or Mane that leave (surely Salah stays)
in- Christopher Nkunku, Iheanacho, or Karim Adeyemi in attacking roles (need 2 of those).
My picks- Franck Kessie, Florian Nehaus, Zakaria, or Aurelien Tchouameni (2 of these players will be needed assuming we let Milner go and dont renew 1 of the 2 with keita or ox)
But I've put more effort into this comment than FSG have into signing players since 2018 so i doubt we will get what we need. Negative net spend since 2018 and not looking like that will change. Net spend below huddersfield. Embarassing

Personally I believe Jarrod Bowen would be the best forward signing Liverpool could make. Very versatile, can play across the line, is good off both feat and most importantly a very hardworking player used to high pressing football currently with West Han
We chased him for two seasons but now he’s playing at the level he’s at he’ll be too expensive
Spot on. It is impossible to find a player that can replicate Roberto Firmino. He's special.
Raphinha suits Liverpool.
He could free up Salah to play through the middle when needed
Could do but it’s not ideal since Salah is at his best on the right
I think depth is the most important thing for Liverpool.
Kessie would be a good signing, as well as attackers such as tete

Fsg is dedicated to make the club a profit churning machine with minimal investment.
i was waiting for this video, thanks
Minamino has taken a couple of years to grow into his role; Jones has been on a similar trajectory. Kabak was an example of what happens when you are thrown straight into this level of team. Any succession planning for the wingers/wide strikers begins now!
Sidenote: The obvious choice to step up during AFCON would have been Harvey Elliot, and it looked like that was the plan with him playing right off the bat earlier this season. Shame for the young lad and for Klopp's plans, but hoping he'll continue to show his talent into 2022/23.

Finally. Ben waiting for this. Now my year can begin.
Given last years spend there will definitely be uproar if nothings brought in this year
Jonathan David would be a great signing!
What liverpool has been missing this season is a Gini type of midfielder. There have been a number of games where our midfield is completely overrun. Henderson is no longer as industrious as he was a few years back. Strong, technical and can hold the ball well. The one that can dominate the midfield.
Do a City one next which Left backs and strikers or even CM would be best for the team

Thanks.. but I think Liverpool need creativity from midfield..3 new midfielders and 3 new forwards
What about the CDMs to help off the bench because Milner is too old , Hendo is solid but I prefer If Hendo Play’s CM and is the 3rd option CDM
I am a little bit upset tbh.
my dream window for us would probably be. danjuma, felix, sesko no rw needed because gordon is coming up. bellingham would be huge
I think the best player to come would be Luís Dias from Porto. Liverpool must pay around 60 Million but it would be wourth it!
And you where right he is on his way
The fact they have barely spent anything since that big summer with Alisson and are still at the top is very impressive
Sesko 🔥🔥🔥
Their main talents are in defence and midfield? Stewart and Cannonier are two of the most exciting forwards in the nation right now! More creative players needed maybe, like a Firmino, but their academy already has the finishers.
Someone I think would fit really well in Liverpool is Ollie Watkins. He would fit almost perfectly in Liverpools tactic
I would pay a serious amount to get Rice in as a longterm Henderson replacement. Every time I watch him, he's incredible.
Liverpool need to first start making space in their squad through departures. We have a sell to buy policy and it's a pivotal time for us. This vid doesnt mention it but mid is an issue too. Hendo is 31, Thiago is 30 and injury prone. Beyond that the midfield looks very thin. In this summer I think:
Ox, Keita, Neco, Nat Phillips, maybe Mane all get sold.
Adrian, Milner, Origi leaving on a free.
That should be enough for the club to buy one mid and a forward who nobody rates but suddenly turns elite under Klopp.
Milner stays for another season I think.
I would love to see Saka in "Liverpool's arsenal." Nkunku and Iheanacho also seem savvy.
What about Jonathan David? Impressive for Lille and seems to play as a forward more than a striker
