    I always thought that you have a peach undertone - that‘s why neutral/rosy foundations fit you better that yellow or olive would and why peaches/pinks/oranges are so flattering on you 😊

    I think we have very similar undertones, I wear neutrals but I definitely see golden tone in my skin, but if I wear a warm foundation it looks orange on me. Cool tones wash me out though. I tend to like both cool tones and warm tones for eyeshadow.

    I loooove the NYX concealer as well. It’s so natural looking and wears nicely. You should try it as foundation too! I’ve done my whole face and under eyes with the NYX concealer and loved the results. It’s great for travel too because the product is tiny

    My favorite brow product is the elf wow brow, its so easy one and done process. I have the nyx brow pen but I'm not so good at using it, I might use it as a subtle brown eyeliner. I just got a lawless forget the filler gloss in a sephora favorites kit and it is pretty sticky, but it does last for a long time on my lips.

    I'm lucky, I don't have unruly eyebrows not even at 63! So none of that. . And I love the lightweight Maybelline serum foundation, 3 drops of that evens out my skin.. all the expensive make-up I have, the easiest is NYX, which has highlighter, Bronzer and blush in it (sooo convenient for travel) Revlon lipsticks and lipliners.. and I have a nice little Natasha Denona eye palette, but I have a wet and wild one that I use just as much. The McoBeauty mascara is my absolute go to since I first tried it, although theres a great Australian made one Naito, which is tubing, so easy to remove and really lengthen the lashes. McoBeauty also has great pressed powders, and I have some loose face powder from Nutrimetics that has lasted years, as you only need the lightest dusting to set a face. That would be my basic set, out of (I have to admit) 4 big drawers of make-up of all sorts of brands and 2 lipstick holders (but i love all the different colours, and have from Birts Bees lip crayon, to lovely Revlon creamy formulas, glosses, oils. 😊)

    It might be interesting for you to talk about your favorite discontinued products. While I was thinking about this I was thinking about Lorac's palettes Simmering and Sparkling. Unfortunately I am thinking they may be going out of business. Their website is very sparse on eyeshadows. You can't even find Simmering online at Ulta anymore.
    I believe that the Sultry Mini is limited edition too. I'm not sure because Anastasia did not have it on their site for a while, but now they do. I am loving 9 pans and I like the packaging. If they stuck with this format I might be tempted to buy more from them.

    I bought that color corrector on a whim. I LOVE it. I've tried others that actually made my under eyes look worse, lol. I don't have to use very much and it blends out perfectly with a brush too. I also use a serum concealer (not NYX though) and it works great together. I also powder down and I've had no problems with any of the products not meshing well together. I can actually get away with just using the color corrector but since I'm so use to concealing I just go with it, lol. It really is a great product... 👍

      @@SarahRoseBeauty My wild guess for me was that I was a spring :) it is really a physics thing....light reflecting of a skin, color reflecting of the skin, making it more enhanced or more dull....i find it fascinating. Spring and autumn are both warm seasons.

    I don't think you have an olive undertone. Olive undertone would mean that your skin leans to green. It think it might be neutral with a slightest warm. I have a similar case. Undertone is not my most obvious feature that's why I always thought I was neutral. The truth is there is no real neutral undertone. Everyone leans at least slight bit to warm or cool end. Anyways, I love the Color analysis studio channel here on youtube. I have learned so much from them. I am soft autumn and I think you might be as well.

      @@SarahRoseBeauty I think you're definitely warm toned too. It can be confusing though. I tend to prefer to wear cool toned color especially clothing even though I'm warm toned. I feel like warm tones look too warm on me. I'm loving the neutral / cool toned trend lately because the neutrals do look warm on me but I don't feel like its too warm.
      One test may be, can you wear a red and have it look red? I cannot. I have to use a red lip liner and then a light berry tone to get a true red lip. That or a liquid lipstick. Apparently us warm toned gals tend to struggle with red lipstick turning pink on us.

    • @cwynn1547
      @cwynn1547 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I would suggest Sarah Rose is a Spring, the difference between Spring and Autumn coloring is a bright eye color and lightly warm skin. Autumn has a more muted eye color. The "clash" test for spring is Silver, so like a silver foil eye shadow would look "off" on Spring people.
      Having said that, a person can kinda wear what they want, it's just finding the right tone or pushing the skin tone a little. I'm considered a deep Autumn, and I don't like that color palette, and my hair is silver. I go a little cool on my foundation so I can wear Winter jewel tones.

    • @ivalakossweet2236
      @ivalakossweet2236 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@cwynn1547 the season has nothing to do with the eye color, hair color, birthday season, the color of the veins.... If Sarah is a spring or autumn, it depends on the intensity of the colors her skin can "handle". If she looks better intense and bright warm colors, she will be spring. If she looks better in warm and muted colors, she will be autumn. Sometimes the color can be the right undertone but it overpowers you so you are the medium intensity season like light spring or warm autumn. If you notice the color first and then the person (even if it wears the right color warmth), it is not the ideal season. I agree, wear what you like and what makes you feel good.
      I loved the fact that I got it done professionally (I did it with Color analysis studio here on you tube) as I am making my make up choices much prudent now. I gave up on the pink blushes, red lipsticks which always look too much on me and I don't need cool toned eye shadows, which saved me some money in the long run. Now I enhance my natural features and don't force pinky taupes that was my go to and I feel much more put together.

      @@SarahRoseBeautyI highly suggest every woman go to get a color analysis done with a professional. I did it and she confirmed everything I suspected about my undertone and what colors look best on me between my hair color, eye color and skin tone. It is life changing. Now I know what colors to shop for and what colors to stay away from whether it is clothes, jewelry or makeup! And you get a swatch book of all your most flattering colors. A one time spendy endeavor but so worth it!!!

    I commented something similar earlier but I might have accidentally deleted it 😢
    I would immediately repurchase the Maybelline Volum' Exoress Rocket mascara and Neutrogena's eyeliner in Spiced Chocolate. chocolate.
    Heaven on Earth by Sydney Grace is my go to palette. I love it. I love the earthy tones + green and blue. Plus you can go warm or cool with it. I would definitely be placing an order to replace it. I might also repurchase Tropicolor and try their face palette in Light.
    I woukd want the Sultry Mini palette again too if it was still in stock. I use this one a lot too. I have been feeling cool toned vibes much more lately. I feel like I can get a warm or cool look with this palette. Originally I didn't love the mattes but lately I like them. I don't know if my skin was really dry when I first bought it or what. The shimmers are gorgeous though.
    I would want the Nomad Ireland palette again if it was still in stock. I do feel like the shimmers need a primer for the best effect, but with a primer down they are amazing.
    I woukd also repurchase Fantasy Cosmetica's Warlock palette. I am living for lime green right now.
    For face products I think I would definitely repurchase Smashbox's 3 pan contour palette. I love the bronzer. I don't contour much but sometimes the mood strikes and I'll do it because it is there. I use the bronzer and highlighter a lot on my eyes to help blend shadows out. I think this is why it gets so much use. I don't often do a whole lot of face makeup.
    I might also repurchase Nabla's bronzer in Ambra, their highlighter in Ozone and their what I call a blush in Truth. I don't kniw if I would repurchase ozone. I feel like it emphasizes texture a bit. I might even pass on Truth but I would be very tempted to go for Ambra even with the Smashbox contour kit.
