    I depotted several palettes that I liked the shades of- but not together in the same palette and once they were depotted and added to my magnetic palette I have gotten way more use out of them.
    I created a 15 pan autumn palette and then switched to a winter one and I regret nothing 🎉🎉

    You asked for suggestions on using red. First, mix with other colors! I don't mean necessarily that you that you mix them like paint to make a new color, although you can do that. But if you put red next to another color on the eye, the whole thing visually ends up like a mix of the two. For example, yesterday I wore a red and yellow eye look that I think most people might describe as a warm orange sunset. I didn't put any orange on my eye, but where the yellow and red blended made a beautiful gradient. Ditto for red and blue, red and brown, and red and pink. Another tip I have for wearing red is to go bold. If you're scared of the red so you only put down a light wash, that's when it can look like a rash rather than eyeshadow. Another tip I have is to line with black or some other dark, bold color like purple or blue. If you wear red without lining your eyes, it can make you look sick. But if you line your upper lashes, the black is closest to your eyeball and it pulls everything together. Another tip is to put a different color than red on your lower lashes, like maybe brown or gray. Again, this will keep you from looking sick, as the lower lashline often gets red naturally when you have a cold.

    • @the-Artup
      @the-Artup  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh, textures and finishes - it's completely different story! So far I've set apart just toppers since they are more universal.With mattes, I focused on color and functionality,but with "non mattes" there are so many things to take into consideration!I've decided to take it slowly and educate myself on what I have and what I can use.

    O once depotted two palettes by the same creator to make one that I wanted more use out of… it turned out it was such “blasphemy” I never used any of the colours again 😭
    I think I’m inspired by the mood a palette creates and I very rarely know what colour I’m going for unless I’m reproducing a makeup I’ve seen online… so I’m quite happy to alternate with my several (not 17) palettes and decluttering them from time to time to make room for a new one. 😊
