rivers can be a nightmare... i went in river yesterday and the simplex did great... all i used was the beginners settings i uploaded the other day, it was a little disc and in park 2 mode.... i was pulling coins out for fun
its our third visit to the farm, new fields every time and they have all produced some good finds... only half way through so excited to see what else we find

Hi Sid, love your vids and the bants, I have a question, if someone finds a gold coin under 300 years old at a metal detecting rally, does the finder get to keep the coin or do they need to sell the coin and give half the money to the land owner?
Depends on the rally organisers agreements mate.... we have a limit of £2000 anything over is split 50/50 and obvs any treasure item regardless of value
Narr mate if im making a vid for any group i usually do them a vid for free entry as i don’t really detect a full day, always getting footage... 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 i really do love doing it though and get to see some amazing finds

I got a simplex the other week, been out 4 times and I’m really struggling with what I’m guessing at to be interference? I have have seen that mobile phones can be a pain so I have left my phone in the car to see if that helped but sadly it hasn’t. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated Thanks
electric fence near by?? is it pulsing or constant.... if constant try going into a different freq shift, also lower sensitivity, and also you could try park mode as that is less sensitive to emi

AMANDA HITCHEN the deus is a little chattery as a machine but you get used to that.. a programme that doesn’t chatter isnt really a programme id wanna use... the hammy programme is a fairly stable programme and I did well with it... 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 give it a good try and please let me know how you get on
