2:30:23 Jacob says here "unlucky warlock" but thinking about it, I think the consistent weakness of the warlock is their ambition. It's happened quite often. The feeling that they're invincible and can kill any amount of people. The balancing aspect.
I reckon the next neutral killer should be plaguebearer. The role will only be able to kill in the late game giving more players a chance of playing in the first few rounds.
yeah i think traditionally late game killers like plaguebeater and arso do a better job at making nk interesting than the regular killers like vamps werewolf and glitch
I think vampires work a lot better when there are lots of people, but when the lobby starts to shrink the amount of vampires and impostors make it feel like a crew win is basically impossible. I felt bad for della and joe in some of the later games where they werent talking to any crew in the meetings.
effexctively 4 imposters, 5 even with the initial settings. That's basically half the lobby (11-12) people usually. Absolutely is just too much. The biggest balance I could see, is keep max of 2 vamps, and maybe just 1 impostor with op roles only (warlock, etc.). Max of 3 total impostors that way (1/4 of the lobby), hopefully without making impostor impossible.

I get not wanting Hypnotist to be so overpowered, but lowering the cooldown to 60 seconds really sucks when A. your co-impostor doesn't know who's been infected and B. neutral killing roles are also involved and C. you'll literally never get to use the role (as we've seen with other roles with 60 second cooldowns). That nerf essentially just makes the Hypnotist an impostor with no role which isn't fun.
It's not that Vampire are broken, it's that the lobby set up was bad. You can't play with 12-13 people and have 2 Vampires/2 Impostors, the numbers don't work. By the end of round 1 you'd have a high chance of 2 imposters, 2 vamps, 1-2 neutrals, with 2+ dead crew, leaving 2-3 crew left, they game's literally unplayable. "Nerfing" Vampires doesn't fix the fundamental problem of numbers. The real problem is you're starting with 4 killers out of ~12 people, if each person gets 2 kills the game is basically over. increasing cooldowns only delays the inevitable. Possible solutions 1. Turn off Neutral roles. Can't have Jester, Survivor, and GA muddying the waters against 4 killers. This would start the game with 6 crewmates after a Vampire recruits 1 and impostors kill 2 in round 1. 2. Turn down impostors down to 1. Instead, only keep multikill imposters alive like Bomber and Warlock. You could also keep some of the other good ones like Morphling and Swooper but buff their cooldowns. This essentially lowers the killers down to 3. 3. OR turn OFF multikill impostors. 4 killers is a lot already, multi kill makes it worse. 4. Buff Crewmates. Allow multiple Veterans to make it easier to fight back against 4 killers. 5. OR you could increase lobby size to 15. *_DON'T implement all of them at once, these are SEPARATE solutions._* A good ratio of killers is 1:4 which is why 2/12 works so well; with 2 neutral roles, it's essentially 2 impostors vs 8 crewmates. My personal recommendation would be to try 1 Impostor, 1 Vampire(1 recruit), and 10 Crew. No Jester, GA, Exe, or Survivor. With 12 this would be 1v2v9. If the lobby has 13 or more, turn Jester back on. Also, absolutely vote on 7, it doesn't make sense to not vote on 7 when there's more than 2 killers. Thanks for attending my Ted Talk TL;DR use 1 good/buffed impostor and turn off neutral roles, allow Vampire to recruit 1 max.

If vampires work the way I understand (ie: if there are 2 people left, a vampire and an imposter, then the game let's them fight, same thing if there were 3 killers (2 of 1 type, 1 of the other), 1 crew) then you absolutely do not vote on 7. It is very unlikely that crew will win. (assuming 2 imposters 1 vampire max 2 vampires) If you go to 7 with one killer and vote, it doesn't matter If there are 2 killers of the same team, normal logic applies and you wouldn't want to vote on seven. If they are of opposite teams it is fine to vote. If 3 killers are alive, you do not want to vote. If you vote the killer without a teammate, you lose for the same reason you normally don't vote on 7 (2 imposters get a double kill). If the majority team get a double kill on crew, crew loses. The majority team might not win, but there is no scenario crew wins. It can be good if the majority team kills the other killer, but that would still be 6 or less with 2 killers, so not good. If you vote out the majority teams imposter, that's good, but you are nowhere near out of the woods. With 4 killers you really don't want to vote on 7, cause no matter how you vote crew loses. If you vote a crew, crew will lose. If you vote a killer, you are stuck with 3 killers 3 crew and that's still a crew loss. The only reason to vote on 7 is if you are certain. Otherwise, it is still bad to vote on seven.

1:12:48 This comment gave me an idea for a neutral killing role that gets a random imposter ability every round. So one round you can swoop, the next round you can escapist, and the round after that you can do morphling. Kinda like imitator if they were messed up and evil. Maybe you would get to pick between two random roles so you have a bit more control over your game.
tbf it could be balanced by the fact that they get to make more vampires Impostors you only start with your two (even if they have busted abilities) whereas vamps can keep the game going long after their initial vamp. Also could throw a theoretical wrench in the pool of trust where someone with good info suddenly becomes bad down the line.
They could do mongy Monday where you have no special roles and jester at the beginning and each time a team wins, they get a new role added to the game based on a wheel with every role. Jester wins a random neutral role is added. Crew wins a new crew role is randomly added. Idk
I think vampire would be a lot cooler if they won by recruiting more vampires than crew/imps. So it becomes more like politician where you get majority, but they’re only able to recruit like 3 vamps. And only the original vampire can kill so it becomes a game of vamp recruits not dying and killing those left over to get majority.
I like the vampire, but I think the bittens should be thralls, either dying or turning back when the vampire is killed, and unable to infect. Maybe you could have more than one thral, even, and the goal is to raise an undead army
One potential way of balancing vampires could be having them be the main threat and only having one 'super' imposter with abilities leaning more to the chaos mongy side. This effectively makes the imposter the glitch and the vampires the 'vanilla' imposters the crew will have to deal with.
I have a fun idea for an imposter role. It would let you turn into a corpse and you would only come back alive if someone reports you, at which point they instantly die. A fake dead body would add a new level of difficulty to the game
I asked myself this question too, and it's almost definitely the Mayor dying. Based on the balancing of being unable to bite Impostors it just makes sense.
No hate btw this was still really fun to watch lolz. Just was kinda annoyed that they made a big deal out of Seer coming back for them to just not even enable it
Depends on the lore you are following. In some, vampires can't lie (they are often bundles in a lot with the fae with those kinds of rules), and in others they can. Other rules that tend to be applied to them: - the classics. they cant enter abodes uninvited, they can't stand garlic (mainly that they get revealed by it rather than protection, but in some it protects), they die in the sun, and they are somehow powerless against the faithful and symbols of faith can be used to protect yourself (in some lore it even repels them). They can also turn into bats and/or smoke, and might be able to turn others or enthrall them with either hypnotic eyes or their bite has that effect. They regenerate really well and will survive no matter what unless you stake their heart. - sometimes they can fly. Not always because of wings. - they tend to be able to use blood magic in magic settings. And in non-magic settings. - they are all good at the piano and/or the organ. - often mirrors can be used to reveal them as they are not visible in them. - often they can't lie, or at the very least they can't break an oath. - sometimes uv light hurts them. And sun cream lets them walk under the sun. - sometimes they can't stay awake at daytime, or at least find it difficult. - sometimes they can be kileld even if you don't stake their heart or use sunlight. - sometimes they can't cross running water (because they get grouped as undead) - and honestly a lot more. particularly if we start thinking of rare stuff like "they glitter"
the vampire is a good role, i just honestly think it just doesnt work when you have 12-13 people. 2 are impostors, 1 is a vampire, 1-2 is neutral killing, that leaves 4-5 who can kill and 7-8 crew. if each one kills thats literally 3 crew after one round and its unplayable
its tragic how alpharad as he himself says that whenever he suspects della he goes back on it only to immideately get killed by them or end up losing the game to them
Its always so funny because 90% of the time della can easily be meta gamed because she literally does the same exact play and vibe as imposter all the time. I just kinda hate how people will have info and nvr bring it up to the meetings. Thats literally the whole point of the meetings bruh like the della/kael imposter game. He basically had her to rights during the admin round or at least had good sus but he let her practically get away with it without at least pointing out to the lobby that there is at least some suspect behavior esp since the first round when joe died literally right behind della. You can't have 2 suspect moments and just not bring it up once in any meetings.
Everyone going crazy on the Battle Royale of Vampires vs Imposters was so funny and so tense that I had to stop what I was doing to legitimately watch it. Very tense and very funny. Well done to the players of the last game!
Duuuude. Buggy the clown gotta be the best character in one piece so far, I've only been watching the live action but I'm a huge fan of the dastardly clown
I think traps working as a set area vet would be cool. Forces the imposters to think before doing lights and stuff. Make it a timer so it can’t just be insta dropped.
I don't know you read comments or not but, I LOVE MONGY MONDAY!! I never really watch on youtube since I just can't wait 1 extra day so I am the few who watches the twitch vods, unfortunate timezones. But, I just came here to comment since I think the changes you made for season 2 really brings the joy back in of earlier days, and I really like it. Btw glitch would be cool next week I guess.
Was happy to watch this live as a mostly VOD watcher. Still going to watch the whole VOD for the few minutes I had to leave in the middle of the mongy Monday. :3 Was definitely a chaotic Vampire rampage.
Just went on TH-cam to find something to fall asleep to, and HORRAY MONGY! It feels like only recently that the last stream came out, but I’m not complaining.
Idea for a killing role: Viper. Player has the ability to tag/bite their target, who will then remain alive for a predetermined amount of time until they die. The target’s screen will flash red or some other color when they are tagged, so they are aware they are about to die. However, the target won’t die immediately or during a meeting if one is called while they are envenomated. It basically pauses the countdown. So the target has to try their best to get to the button before they die to potentially rat on the Viper. The imposters need to be careful and try to only hit the target far from the button or time sabotages to stall. idk if there’s something like this yet that they don’t use

So one round you can swoop, the next round you can escapist, and the round after that you can do morphling. Kinda like imitator if they were messed up and evil. Maybe you would get to pick between two random roles so you have a bit more control over your game.
Della losing at rock paper scissors going second was awesome
Really putting in my top 0.6% of Alpharad viewers status
Same but 0.3% for me (also my most watched channel is alpharad replay)
Hell yeah
Mine didn’t say where I was on alpharad replay because my most impressive one was top 0.2% of DougDougDoug viewers.
Is it bad I’m .1%
Top 0.3% for Alpharad Live but Replay was my fav channel
Vampire feels like it should be its own game mode. Like have vampire on but no imposters
Main issue with that is it's just impostors with no abilities, seems extremely awkward to balance.
tbf it could be balanced by the fact that they get to make more vampires
Impostors you only start with your two (even if they have busted abilities) whereas vamps can keep the game going long after their initial vamp.
Idk
Vampire is such a pain in the ass and makes games feel bad loosing to vampire but it has some of the funniest interactions as well
I think vampire would be a lot cooler if they won by recruiting more vampires than crew/imps. So it becomes more like politician where you get majority, but they’re only able to recruit like 3 vamps. And only the original vampire can kill so it becomes a game of vamp recruits not dying and killing those left over to get majority.
2:59:40 “This is doomed yuri right here” is NOT something I was expecting to hear today lmaoooo
THE 2v2 DUOS BATTLE ROYALE END GAME WAS CRAZY!!!
also the pixie last game goin investigator > vamp > vamp is crazy the triple role change
If I'm being honest, I'm not a Vampire fan. Seems hard to balance, and would definitely prefer Glitch if there was to be a neutral killer
A fake dead body would add a new level of difficulty to the game
i feel like that could be an awesome imposter modifier
@@Morgan-zb7ww another cool modifier would be one that makes you vote randomly
2:23:20 Jacob reading "Metapod Para presidente" was so cute my Brazilian heart melted
What happens if a vamp gets a Mayor? Do they become a mayor vampire or do they die? Do they lose mayor and everyone can see that
I think the third one. Just everyone sees you have unrevealed
I asked myself this question too, and it's almost definitely the Mayor dying. Based on the balancing of being unable to bite Impostors it just makes sense.
jacob killing della then giwi on accident with vampire is so sad...then recruting joe lol
alpha's charisma stat is honestly insane, there's always a new way that it shocks me every vod
39:55 you became the very thing you said you would destroy
They should add a role that kills vampire if they try to bite them every time and can only kill vampires as crew, literally that op.
I love how salty della gets every time she gets owned as imposter
literally highlight of the day, I've been waiting for 6 hour for this
This wouldve gone so much better if Jacob didnt forget to turn Seer and Mystic on 💀
No hate btw this was still really fun to watch lolz. Just was kinda annoyed that they made a big deal out of Seer coming back for them to just not even enable it
Depends on the lore you are following. In some, vampires can't lie (they are often bundles in a lot with the fae with those kinds of rules), and in others they can.
Other rules that tend to be applied to them:
- the classics. they cant enter abodes uninvited, they can't stand garlic (mainly that they get revealed by it rather than protection, but in some it protects), they die in the sun, and they are somehow powerless against the faithful and symbols of faith can be used to protect yourself (in some lore it even repels them).
- sometimes they can't cross running water (because they get grouped as undead)
- and honestly a lot more. particularly if we start thinking of rare stuff like "they glitter"
THE DELLA AND GIWI KILLS OH NO
3:52 Start of Rules explanation
that last game 2v2 into 1v1 had me tense man, cant wait for more neutral shenanigans
this series is seriously the best and most enjoyable thing, im always looking so forward to these uploads :)
1:10:58 is crazy a 3 second interaction between 5 crew and only 1 survives you cant make this shit up
Game start at 25:00 (I didn't find someone else noting it)
Ty
Thank you kind person
the vampire is a good role, i just honestly think it just doesnt work when you have 12-13 people. 2 are impostors, 1 is a vampire, 1-2 is neutral killing, that leaves 4-5 who can kill and 7-8 crew. if each one kills thats literally 3 crew after one round and its unplayable
*Currently clutching my garlic*
*seductively eats garlic and fucking dies*
Oh my god the mental breakdown at 4:03:12 😭😭 not the 2/2 with vampire.. thats rough for everyone involved D:
3:55:00
50% of chat: omg, frasier, kitty, hiiii~
The other 50%: FINISH THE DAMN TASK
its tragic how alpharad as he himself says that whenever he suspects della he goes back on it only to immideately get killed by them or end up losing the game to them
Its always so funny because 90% of the time della can easily be meta gamed because she literally does the same exact play and vibe as imposter all the time.
She's so obvious but Jacob coddles her every game no matter what.
I love that as vampire Jacob kills the imposters
Everyone going crazy on the Battle Royale of Vampires vs Imposters was so funny and so tense that I had to stop what I was doing to legitimately watch it. Very tense and very funny. Well done to the players of the last game!
Duuuude. Buggy the clown gotta be the best character in one piece so far, I've only been watching the live action but I'm a huge fan of the dastardly clown
Survivor, Imposter, and Jester is the funniest possible last three I think, they can all three win simultaneously for 3 different reasons.
The last game is gotta be one of the most legendary mongy games ever
I think traps working as a set area vet would be cool. Forces the imposters to think before doing lights and stuff. Make it a timer so it can’t just be insta dropped.
Pixie saying "Jacob I thought we had donething special" at 4:33:51 killed me 😂😭
I don't know you read comments or not but, I LOVE MONGY MONDAY!!
Jake is a great addition to the roster, they're hilarious
That battle royale at the end was the best final game I've seen in awhile
Was happy to watch this live as a mostly VOD watcher. Still going to watch the whole VOD for the few minutes I had to leave in the middle of the mongy Monday. :3 Was definitely a chaotic Vampire rampage.
I JUST ENDED THE LAST VOD AND THERE S A NEW ONE LETS GOOOOO
I was so sad ngl that I had finished the last Mongy vod and here this is !!
Absolutely incredible timing. I watched the interaction at 2:45:10 and right when Jacob input the backup code, my pc bluescreened
I laughed so hard when he killed both imposters that I almost fainted
nah that last game with joe i'd totally have told him for the bit that he's the only crew alive and see what chaos ensued with that lol
Last mongy vod made me want to go see Wicked and by the time this was up I have now seen it. Great movie and also yippee more mongy monday
Yo I love seeing all the other roles lately, it's cool getting to see the stuff that you normally have turned off
I really like the idea of two opposing impostor teams
I finished finals this semester & im so happy I can finally binge-watch an entire Mongy vod w/o stressing about school LOL
The vampire game has me shaking from laughter. Omg that was the best worst luck ever
3:45:57 I have not laughed so hard in such a long time. I love the final kill of the game being a guess kill with the punch. Just the perfect cut off.
An imposter role that puts a veteran type aura on a target so that if someone interacts with them that person gets killed could be interesting
The sadness in Cj's voice when Fir died 😭 1:07:50
And in here too 2:20:47
NOTT FIR WHYYYY
Just went on TH-cam to find something to fall asleep to, and HORRAY MONGY! It feels like only recently that the last stream came out, but I’m not complaining.
Chronic Vod Watcher unfortunately, but holy heck that Vamp round was INSANE and so hilarious! One Day I'll catch yall live. One day.
I like the last game, meeting 1 and theres one crew left. It helps that everyone has to pretend to be crew, but holy shit lmao
It's so sad that Mari left at 2:18:59, also Plaguebearer seems like it'd be fun to play with.
That last game was probably the best "Mongy moment" I've ever seen 😂
This last game is F crazy lol, the climax 😂
The retribution of Alpha getting killed first by Della and Giwi hahahaha
1:11 hello past me 👋👋
Setup and payoff
Adorable
Button Berry Jailor is the real executioner
I've been watching every mongy monday since the start of the year. Does it not feel that long.
25:17 This is why you shouldn’t rely on the group picture for your notification for Mongy.
Miloni!! I was so excited to hear he was joining my jaw dropped. Unhinged like a snake I was so excited
Oh my goooddd that's the most amazing LG I've ever seen
Jacob was a villain this monday... I witnessed evil behaviour
th-cam.com/video/korGcEPww2U/w-d-xo.html Wait, Della ragequit the lobby, then KEPT the first death shield?
god as a vod watcher i am eating so so SO good
does anyone know why bobby doesn’t play anymore?
Idea for a killing role: Viper. Player has the ability to tag/bite their target, who will then remain alive for a predetermined amount of time until they die. The target’s screen will flash red or some other color when they are tagged, so they are aware they are about to die.
However, the target won’t die immediately or during a meeting if one is called while they are envenomated. It basically pauses the countdown. So the target has to try their best to get to the button before they die to potentially rat on the Viper. The imposters need to be careful and try to only hit the target far from the button or time sabotages to stall.
idk if there’s something like this yet that they don’t use
AHHHHH I FORGOT THAT MONDAY WAS YESTERDAY AND THE LAST ONE WAS ON A THURSDAY
Poor Joe😭but that last game was INSANE
eating a mcrib while watching this #thankyoupikmin5
It's on its farewell tour
I miss Speedylead so much.
