- Citroën today reveals the first images of the Basalt Vision , a new SUV Coupe concept that will join the range in South America in 2024. Powerful and elegant, this new model combines different concepts to offer customers the best. It combines the fluidity and dynamism of a Coupe, the advantages and robustness of a lifted SUV and the balance and space on board of a family model. Developed in South America with strong local integration, Basalt will support Citroën's international growth alongside the C3 and Aircross in the brand's main markets. All three models are part of the same C-Cubed program to bring to the market models with a strong character and a unique onboard comfort experience. The Basalt Vision is a very close vision of the model that will be offered to customers in 2024.
Following the New C3 and Aircross, the Citroën Basalt Vision is the third model in the C-Cubed program implemented specifically to ensure Citroën's growth in strategic regions, including Asia and South America. The brand's ambition is to develop a strong product offering and distinctive, with a unique design and ease of use that creates value for customers. All three models are based on the same platform, configured specifically to meet the needs of customers in these markets, illustrating the modularity and efficiency of this architecture. In addition to the product, Citroën's ambition is to offer a more serene and joyful ownership experience through services that make the customer's life easier.
The Citroën Basalt Vision is a bold SUV Coupe concept that meets diverse customer expectations. It will be the first model in this territory to borrow attributes from different automotive codes. Its SUV character is aspirational, expressing modernity, robustness and safety. Powerful and muscular, it has a confident and solid stance on the road, thanks to its high ground clearance, high bonnet, vertical front end, flared fenders and wheel arch moldings with distinct geometric shapes. Its Coupe-like rear portion adds fluidity and dynamism to a model that expresses a lot of energy. The set is vigorous and elegant, with balanced proportions and a silhouette that reflects aerodynamic efficiency.
Citroën confirms its ambitions in terms of creativity with the unveiling of this unique silhouette concept. Its positioning justifies an exclusive name, Basalt, which will be maintained when it hits the market. Basalt Vision shares with the volcanic rock basalt, born from the energy of the earth, the promise of robustness and serenity represented by this resistant and timeless material. These values are perfectly matched by a vehicle that will surprise its owner with its resistance and reliability. The greater ground clearance makes it easier to enter and exit a vehicle that offers plenty of space for all occupants and a large trunk. With different visual elements that convey even more robustness and style, Basalt Vision provides a feeling of safety and protection, allowing you to face difficult driving conditions with serenity.

ça y est... j'étais opposé à l'invasion de véhicules chinois mais là on y est... overdose de SUV, design crasseux, j'ai quasiment hâte que les chinois arrivent et que nos marques crèvent. On se fait littéralement entuber par des marques qui nous vendent du recyclage. Toutes les bagnoles se ressemblent, et sont moches. Toutes des SUV clonés de clones clonés. Bizarrement, les propositions chinoises sont bien plus intéressantes.
Cheaper design with lot of cost cutting. Due to that only citroen c3 aircross failed. They are atill continuing the same for basalt also. The door handle reveal that how the design is cheaper. It look like kwid.

They are a competition to Japanese manufacturers like Honda Toyota and Suzuki in international markets they aren't competing with merc or bmw so this is all we get from this brand

@@adr23 it doesn't have to be touch controlled. Feather touch switches (up-down) instead of rotary knobs are more comfortable and safe too
