I love my Street Triple! Thanks for sharing your experience. I feel like the upright position kicks my but at higher speeds, but i just lay on my tank.... lol. 🥰🥰
Had an RS a few years ago, I always bottled it when the roads got wet. Pirelli's they come with are like racing slicks. Obviously it was all in my head, always is 😂 The tyres and bike were much better than my ability.
@courtneyscarlettmoto I love my track days I've got a R6 track only bike, I don't do if as often as I would like, but I love the comradery and micky taking in the pits.
Body position isn't a big deal until you start going faster and pushing the tyres. So many other areas of riding to drop massive amounts of time from on the track.
It’s definitely not something I’m concerning myself over yet in terms of losing time 😊 I think I mention in the video and you can probably hear my instructor - my 2 big areas for losing speed are braking too soon and too much for corners (that’s 10 years of riding Harley’s for you 😂) and not going fast enough on the straights but I have ridden the street triple a lot, and I find 85mph and over so uncomfortable on this bike in comparison to virtually any other bike I’ve ridden that I know if I were to ever buy one a windscreen would be a non-negotiable! 🤣👍🏼
@@CourtneyScarlettMoto brilliant video, I’ve got the Speed Triple RS with the windscreen it does literally nothing tbh , it’s a naked so the wind just slaps you in the face at high speed, the only thing you can do is lean into it and tuck in ❤
Please look into the Ruroc helmet safety, they look cool but I have heard some negatives around their safety standards. Not sure how much of it is true, if any, but please do your research.
I'm surprised that you noticed how much better the RS is than the R unless you were really pushing and you would have had the old model RS last year? Nightmare with the disc lock😮 Anyway just subscribed so will check out your other videos👍
Thanks for subscribing hope you enjoy my other videos 😊 I probably only noticed because I spent a lot of time riding the RS last year - like I said I don’t think it’s majorly noticeable but things like the seat positioning as minor as they are felt noticeable to me as I felt very comfortable on the RS versus the R which puts me in a slightly odd riding position which I didn’t favour 😊 overall I do think for the upgrades on the RS and the price difference it’s certainly the bike I’d choose!
You can take my Speed Triple 1200 on the track anytime 🤗as long as you don’t bin it and you let me have a ride on the Harley 😊😂 I think you’d love it 😊

Haha same! When it rained last year I rode verrrrrrry carefully 🤣🫠
Hello from Belgium. Great and intense experience. Liked and subscribed.
Harley fan myself but the Triumph triple track day should be awesome and lead to better riding habits
did you found your way round closed circuit on sighting lap?
We didn’t do any sighting laps 😊
Very well done, now you've got your eye in come down to Lydden Hill or Brands Hatch 😊😊
Well I certainly need the practice! 🤣 will definitely have to look into more track days! 👍🏼

Nice bike for it! I need to get a bike of my own to take for track days as otherwise it is too expensive! 🙈
Rs was to track focused for me bought the r as i will do about 95% of riding on the road then maybe one or two track days a year.

Thank you for highlighting, my ruroc helmet after 2 years was literally falling apart so I’ve just upgraded to a shoei 😊👍🏻
