You look amazing in your black shorts and nice job on the car Work
that is one sorted 997.2.. the interior is beautiful! 82k miles, much needed refresh and something every owner should aim to do one day
The more detail of the jobs done in the videos the better. I need to do my driver side door check strap. Great video.
Love to see these videos and the attention to detail you guys put into every car. 👍
You guys do wonderful work. Love the seats. absolutely gorgeous! excellent video and most certainly love your accent!
Just wow, the customer must be blown away!
Well done lads tbh would have total trust in FGP to look after my GTS if I lived down there 👍
Excellent video.
Great to see an older car be given a new lease of life.
I would love to do this to a manual 991 C4S, prep it for a winter European road trip, ski racks on the roof...
Cracking work guys! I would love that interior for my 997.2. Need to start to save my pennies 😂
Fantastic thorough work as usual guys.
Well sorted car, what a beauty.
Nice job boys
The interior is stunning, and the repainted clamshells literally look perfect… what a refresh, fantastic work on the car you guys, as always
I'm curious how much that all cost if you are willing to talk about that.
Would be interested to find out how much that superb work was guys?
Actually stoked for how good that cars going to feel.
thank you , FGP . for your most awesome , utube content . you deserve everything you want ..more videos . educate us in America . In everything Porsche .
Thanks for putting the Nitty gritty stuff in :).
Nice to know what older performance cars require to be kept in good condition
good job looks great
You guys never mess about top job keep it up 👌
Another great video
Nice work guys
What cost is all this work. Looks like a great job indeed!
i like it very much. Well done.
What’s wrong with the original alloys? Not watched vid yet just curious
Excellent work and very detailed.
Would love to know the cost of the mechanical refresh and the interior refresh separately.
All that work and never changed the alloys !
Alloys look great
What about the suspension uprights that the lower shock mounts connect to? There's a bushing on it that seems to wear out.
I love those seats, I want those one day in my 997.2 that is also Basalt Black Metallic. They look great. I like the steering wheel refresh too, the leather on mine is not aging well. What did you find with that oil leak on the back side of the oil pan? I had a similar issue and it turned out to be the oil pressure sensor that is right there on the back of the oil pan.
Post more of these videos!
An aluminium PDK cover with removable filter is available. Why was this not used ? Costs only £100 more. Also would have help keep the temp down in the box. Interested in your comments
Do you know of a shop in California that does that kind of interior work?? Fantastic job!!
Looks superb, dread to think of the cost for the interior though..!
This is great - but what did it cost ?
When we were buying a 996 from FGP, Olly or Luke mentioned that Porsche quality of fasteners as well as access for mechanics, the 996 was peak. 997 similar but a few weak spots. After that, quality is inferior. At least, that’s my recollection. I continue to be very happy with my car.
💥💥💥💥💥💥
If you want the cheapest 996/997, don’t come to FGP. If you treasure classic or near classic 911s and desire a zero faults car, definitely consider them.
This era of Porsche is high quality and those who know what they’re doing are capable of refreshing, upgrading and preparing these cars to a high standard.
In particular, the paint on these cars is amazingly durable and if needed, polishing to showroom condition is an expectation.
Just out of interest Luke, what do you do with the old parts? Do they get reconditioned?
Awesome work, any chance you can share the mileage of this car?
Do you go to this level of detail with you cars that you have for sale ?
Nice job, love the niggly bits 😊
What mini heat torch do you use?
I have a 2004 996 C4S that is pretty much immaculate on the outside and has 19 annual service stamps - but am considering bringing to you for a once-over as looks like you have a real attention to detail and know these cars inside out. But I'm curious how much all that work cost (I'm guessing £8k?. Wouldn't it have been better to use the money to buy a newer car?
Cost of houndstooth seat centres ?
How much is the suspension refresh on its own?
Hello ,I have 997.2 turbo
I need some help as I am planing to do PDK service and front/rear differential oil change
Could you give me an estimate how much oil does each of these jobs require ?
I would really appreciate your help
Thanks
What's the difference between 'Porsche genuine parts' and Sebro? I put Sebro on my 997 and they're fine but half the price.Cheers
Are the prices off 996 falling luke
Cost?
If you work with PorCHE motor cars then you must say PorSCHE. Other wise great videos.
Unfortunate that you don't really interact with the comments and reply to questions... engagement important to grow your channel and potentially bring in more business. Oh well, guess you're busy
