Glad to see you're sharing this important information and you show that it's pretty straightforward. I'm not a huge fan of that kind of vegan cheese either, so I make a soft miso cheese instead. Blend boiled and cooled cashews with enough fresh water to make a thick yoghurt texture, then blend in enough miso to make it taste salty, then put in a jar/bowl cover lightly and leave on kitchen counter for 3-8 hours. Once it starts to rise and bubble a little, then put in the fridge. After about two days in fridge it tastes even better, more complex. There are a few recipes online which tell you the exact quantities to use. Great video, am enjoying your channel.
Did you say, "Remove from the eye"? That's some old, old school terminology right there!!😅 I am officially a fan now. Pounding that like and subscribe. God Bless.
@plantbasedbrandon1 . You're welcome Brandon. There's something that you should make in your next video. Vegan risotto balls (arancini) and vegan "mozzarella" sticks.
Wow! That was really simple. I am going to try the almond butter recipe first. Thank you for your channel. I always look forward to every new episode. God bless you and your family.
I'm so glad I watched you today. I've been trying to find all of this, so I'll be making them.😊 Store brought Vegan foods sometimes have too much stuff I don't want to consume. ❤❤❤ Thank you 😊
Those products look awesome, already far beyond the store bought. and so practical to put those 3 together in 1 video, i really appreciate that. Will be trying those soon, but gotta pressure can Mexican Pinto beans. I bet that vegan cheese would be great on frito pie.
Yum I'm always in need of butter and cheese but do question the animals and how things are processed in the store so it's uncomfortable to buy I don't have a taste for them as much but kids love them some cheese and milk. Buttered any toast is always yummy too
I make my vegan butter like you did except I combine the ACV with the almond milk first and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. This makes it more like buttermilk. Great job, I love your videos!
I see that you take GREAT CARE in the products you use. Your creativity & innovation is UNMATCHED!!! I would caution you against using Bragg brand products. They're not a trusted company anymore after the transfer of ownership.
If you have a better blender you get s finer pulp. I prefer to make my own coconut and hemp milk. Tried oat milk it was too slimy and too sweet for me. My fav is hemp milk. I use a vitamix and do not strain out. I blend my milk alts in a smaller quantity and water it down. I blend it three times 1 minute each time. That is how quickly a vitamix will make liquid hot like a soup.
I do the same thing with the almonds, but i peel the hulls. I dont like the hull taste. And toast the Almonds til light golden brown. I have that same milk jar 😂
For the cheese you could’ve used any type of legume and then cooked it and it would’ve solidified. Not sure about melting. But wow was that a lot of nutritional yeast. My my. And a s*it ton of agar.
Everything looks good but Almond Milk no good for you. Look it up. Hemp Milk the best, Coconut Milk, and Walnut Milk only Milk you should drink. Facts 💯. Peace
That depends on where you're looking though because many things has books that are adverse ...some will say it's good others will say it's not...its important to pay attention to your body. Your body will let you know what belongs in it and what doesn't.
This is an old fashioned recipe,we are all making our vegan foods out of plant protein. They do sell that coconut cheese in the markets but it doesn't melt very well.Your way behind everyone else bro 😂😂
I appreciate your relatability & honesty.
Good job, Brandon! It’s nice to see a young man cooking from scratch. Thank you for taking the time to share your creations!
No problem! Thank you for watching!
@ You’re welcome! All the best to you!
It is SO WONDERFUL that a BROTHER is taking charge of his health and well-being. Pray that your wife will finally join you on your vegan journey. 😊
That's awesome that you make your own 😮
It's actually pretty simple!
There are better recipes that don't contain all that stuff in them.
@@Gently225 Well, it's a good thing that You have options.
@@Gently225link to the simple recipe you mentioned?
@@plantbasedbrandon1Would be nice if refined coconut wasn't bleached. A little weary of that. So, it won't work with raw Coconut oil?
THANK 💜 YOU FOR SHARING! 🎯

With Tuneric you must add black pepper for digestion?

My dude, good look, I will definitely be making the butter and 🧀.
I make my almond milk with my kuvings juice or my Vitamix.
Thanks again, sir!
Thanks for this, and especially thanks for including your recipes!
You are so welcome!
Exactly what I needed.
U make things easier in my opinion
Look yummy❤
Thank you
Tyfs I’ve seen nut milk made in the juice. I’m going to try that and see what the difference is

A lot of our people are type o, dairy and swine is horrible for us. Thanks, new subbie!
Looking formal to making the cheddar cheese. I normally like making vegan white cheese, especially smoked gouda, but this here i gotta try.
Can you send me your recipe for the Gouda please!?
Let me know how it turns out!
Love it❤️
Thank you!
This is great thank you!! I’ve been searching for a way to do this!
You're welcome! I hope you enjoy it.
You inspire me fr much love
Glad I can be an inspiration!
🤗I make butter occasionally to pour over my popcorn... It's sooo good😋... You could also blend in some roasted garlic to make garlic butter...
Definitely trying that garlic butter idea!

Thanks a bunch Brandon ! 😁🙏🏼
No problem!
"Im no chef" gets me every time 😂❤
It's catchy lol
THANK U SO MUCH BRANDON!😊
No problem!
🫶🏽🫶🏽I’m an oat milk 🥛 person, will be trying the butter and cheese.
Thank you! 💜
You are so welcome!
I would suggest instead of turmeric use annato. It has no taste as turmeric and its perfect to make it colored.
You should sell the vegan cheese and butter online😊
Both yeast and yeast free versions 👍🏿
the pulp makes good cheese, it tastes better fermented
Noted!
Do you have to add the Miso? my daughter can’t do soy.
No you can omit it
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
🙌🏾
🙏🏾
What was the reason for using the miso?
Extra flavor
@plantbasedbrandon1 Thanks. Love the video.
Looks good to me Brandon.
Thank you!
@@plantbasedbrandon1 I have a question. For my first week going vegan/plant based what wold you recommend doing first?
Does the cheese melt, Brandon?
Yes
Can I use the cheese for mac cheese?
I haven't tried with mac n cheese yet

Are the nutritional yeast and salt necessary for the butter?
No you can omit them
How long does the butter last in the fridge
2 weeks
@@plantbasedbrandon1 thank you 😊
I wonder of you can grateyour cheese
It's pretty soft. Possibly with a large grater
Once I soak the almonds I pull the skins off. That cuts down on the pulp
What if you don’t add miso paste?
I believe it will still turn out good
I do the same thing with the almonds, but i peel the hulls. I dont like the hull taste. And toast the Almonds til light golden brown. I have that same milk jar 😂
I got it try it that way!
❤💙🔥💙
🙏🏾💙
How many pounds of almonds did you use in this recipe?
1 cup
I wish I could try but I can't do almonds😩
You can try cashews
My wife has a nut allergy.😢@plantbasedbrandon1
If you are allergic to nuts then try chickpeas
Vegan butter is cleaned out butter why that texture, homemade would be cashews and sunflower oil in a blender with jello unflavored
For the cheese you could’ve used any type of legume and then cooked it and it would’ve solidified. Not sure about melting. But wow was that a lot of nutritional yeast. My my. And a s*it ton of agar.
6 cups is a lot
What gd bro, why not unrefined coconut oil any oil refined not gd for you
I wish they made vegan butter without seed oils because seed oils are not good for the body at all.
