Instrument cluster - Get one from the same era Escalade. Goes to 120mph instead of 100mph. Bolts right in, and you can swap over the odometer wheels for mileage accuracy.
Quick tip: When reusing a hose that has had a spring clamp on it, like the upper hose on the truck, put the clamp back in the same position on the hose. If you don't, it may leak. Actually, it will leak more often than not. Ask me how I know😅
@@ni_wink84 oh did I ever say it was the right way to do it? No. It’s the right way to do the wrong thing. And it was only on our personal vehicles never customers. Way too early for you to be getting this worked up over a TH-cam comment lol

@ni_wink84 in the real world this is alot easier said than done. Alot of times hoses are formed, of an odd size etc and you can't easily come by one even if you want to. Not to mention if the customer can't or won't pay for it. Working on cars for a living is different than wrenching on your own stuff in your garage.
Man I wish I wasn't broke all the time I would love to have a hotrod like that never had the chance to have anything like that great video as always guys keep up the great work .
Those type of hose clamp pliers are exceptionally helpful when working in the forklift industry. Lift trucks are always so tight between those thick steel walls in which the engine is tucked in between. Anybody who has ever had to work Under a forklift knows exactly what I'm talking about. I spent 20+ years as a forklift and equipment mechanic. It's very similar to automotive but comes with their own set of difficulties when wrenching.
@@FinnegansGarageCannot remember whether ARE made a Lo Pro fiberglass tonneau for these. Used to install them on many Dakota RTs back in the day. Or fcuk it, let the next man decide.
Gm really put out an amazing truck when the obs came out, from the start the styling lent itself to become the canvas of many automotive artists, this example would definitely get a thumbs up from Boyd. Nice truck dude.
What the Hell. In all my decades of restoring and building cars, I've never seen a fender lip roller tool like that! I'm still using the Old round wood trick. I do have to say that I've always been talented when it comes to using my wood! Nice Truck!!
I had a super cab in that color and it was by far the best vehicle I’ve ever owned and never had a single issue with it. It was even procharged with a bunch of aftermarket upgrades under the hood and a pretty big high SQ JL Audio/Rockford Fosgate/Audio Control sound system in it.
I love those cable pliers. Best invention ever.. the only tip I have for spring clamps is to make sure you get the clamp in the original indentation otherwise they leak 100% of the time sometimes lots sometimes a wee bit, always make sure they line up perfectly or there will be a leak. Something I have learned over 30 plus years as a licensed tech
Those remote hose clamp pliers are one of the best tools i ever bought. On any fwd v6 pos, they are required. In some cases there is no way to get a radiator in and out without them.
Pdr guy says "don't try this at home" Lesson is actually " don't try this on something you actually care about until you have tried on a hundred or so scrapyard parts. Proper tools are also a big deal
I need to get a pair of those hose clamp pliers. Those clamps are a real pita with regular pliers. Paint is definitely in great shape for the age. Great color too. Same color as my ZR2 Blazer but it doesnt look nearly as good. 😁Wow! Nice van! 👍Love the updated, upgraded front end. Nice thing about that era of Chevys, GMCs are the front ends all pop off, have the same mounting. So its easy to make a Chevy look like a GMC or in your case, a newer year. Blazers are the same. I could make mine look like a Jimmy. 😁Man that thing sounds damn good. Looks awesome too. That fender tool is just wild!
