After watching that level of professionalism I'd be scare to take my van anywhere else to get an ARB locker installed....
Wrenching with one hand while video taping with the other. Nice job!!!
Thanks for putting this together and sharing it! Super impressive craftsmanship.
Appreciate the kind words!
You guys are AWESOME!!
Thank you!
What an art/skills!
Thanks Bob, appreciate it!
You guys did a great job on my 3500. It pulls the trailer soooo much better
Damn, I need some of whatever he’s drinking!
Might get something done around here!
Pure adrenaline 🤪
Great video, can I ask what the two holes drilled in the left axel tubes were for and also does the new arb locker come set to the right lash etc, so it’s simply an install and go item? Thanks
Those are for oil flow to improve oiling to the bearing on the left side of the locker. Thanks for watching!
Definition of a Master Mechanic! Not for the DIYer.
One handed! 👋🏻
Great informative video. I work at an arb dealer in Australia and we are fitting one to a dual wheel ....was wondering if u had any more Info o setting up pinion as you go from a solid shimed pinion to a crush tube type....the video doesn't show any shims used on the big bearing of the pinion plus the torque for the pinion nut....some feedback would be awesome....as we will be doin more of them.....cheers
Shoot us an email at: goride@adrenalinevans.com and one of our installers can get you some more detailed information. Thanks for watching!
Awesome job! How many hours should a whole install take (on a V6 4x4)? I'm based in Europe and there's a few shops starting to pop up being able to install these.
A qualified shop would likely be able to install this all in a day including air lines and wiring. Thanks for watching!
@@adrenalinevans Oh man thanks to you for making the video! I almost feel comfortable tackling this myself now
Man you work really fast 😂 Must be the caffeine or Customer supplied donuts 👍🏽
I’d probably be able to do it faster without all the donuts 😂 coffee definitely helps
And one handed too !
Question. Will this Locker work with the dully? Thje 3500 or the 4500?
Yes, this will definitely work with the 3500. We haven't run across a 4500 yet but I am pretty sure it is the same differential as the 3500 but would have to check to be 100% sure. Thanks!
I have the 2023 AWD 144, is the ARB rear locker ready for this model?
Yes, this is ready to go for the new 2023 AWD models. Let's make it happen!
now I know why you're called Adrenaline Vans 😂
How many times did it take you to do this without consulting instructions?
What does an air lock do? I assume that it’s a locking differential, but I don’t know how it works?
Hey Mitchell! An air locker allows your to lock both axels together so that they are always driving the vehicle forward at the same rate vs a stock open differential which allows one side to spin independently of the other. It help in low traction environments so you can continue to apply power without the vans computer sensing wheel slip and shutting down power to that axle.
I’ve done a bunch of these installs and it definitely takes a bit of time to get comfortable doing them super quickly.
Great vid! Would have loved to see the ring gear magically get onto the new locker. The sprinter axles are cool looking. Awesome content. Thanks
Why were the ring and pinion replaced during locker install?
The Mercedes ring gears are welded to the carrier so there is no way to reuse them with the ARB locker.

Crazy Octoberfest engineering! Thanks for the reply.
Would this work on a 2wd van or just 4x4?
You can put it on either.
pouvez vous me dire d'ou viens le pignon et la couronne ?
We purchase them through Agile Offroad who is working directly with a manufacturer in Turkey for the gear sets.
chez HTV et vous n'avez jamais eu de plobleme avec ces pigons ?@@adrenalinevans
How many hours?
Generally 4hrs or so for the gear setup and differential portion of the install.
As I thought. 11 min install.
Que mareoo... 🥴
super vidéo , mais vous ne montrez pas la partie la plus importante ,le réglage !!!
Merci beaucoup ! Quelle partie manque-t-il ?
@@adrenalinevans le réglage du différentiel
le ARB est livre avec la couronne?
Get a tripod for your camera, use 2 hands to work and you could have done it in 5 minutes. No need to thank me!
