It does look really good! Put a locker in the back and that van will go many places. Living the Van Life, Chad, he wheeled some really tough trails in only 2wd but had the locker that made a world of difference.
I have the same dually 2016 MB 3500, I thought about doing that to my from but decided not to. I absolutely love the rear though. So strong and stable. Can’t beat it with the 2500.
tire rolling circumference will change unless you change some coding in the esp control unit instrument cluster and transmission control, and ecu too, also using tire size calculator, you can swap a tire that's same rolling circumference as the rear tires but wider foot print.width will not cause mismatch but circumference will and yr van will not shift more than 4 gears.also you will need two spare wheels
@@adrenaline-hq-usa ABS and ESP will not work as it should in this configuration and this two cannot be reprogrammed, not even Mercedes dealers can do this… This van will be a dangerous vehicle especially on slippery surfaces like snow and heavy rain. I would rethink this idea …
iv been looking in to this for a while. with the same circumstances, (I found a 32 inch that will work great) running 235 in back and 265 front on same platform should be fine fine correct?
The dually delema... I have a 4x4 dually and the stock tires are about ready for replacement. I still don't know what to do. I don't want to go super single because the back has all the weight and is already sagging 1 inch lower than the front. But damn, I really want full width fronts like you have.
We can do super singles that will get you to nearly 8,000lbs load rating for the wheel/tire package which typically is sufficient for most class B/C Sprinters and they look really really good. Also, we have plenty of suspension options to address that sag and dramatically improve your ride at the same time.
Very nice technical video. Congrats on that beautiful van. I have ordered a 2024 3500xd AWD. What tires/rims would you recommend. Thank you! What colour is your van. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching! This was the selenite color before we wrapped the entire van. I'd go with a set of 235/85-16's if you're going to stick with the dual rear wheel setup and 16" wheels. They look great with the 235's!
I joust bought a 2012 3500 Dually RWD 160K. It sits so low . What lift kit did you use . What tire size did you use for the rear all 4 and the wheels. Your set up looks nice 😍😍. Can you suggest a brake upgrade too.
This sprinter look ugly with those tires . It's Luke something like farmer tractor . Not elegant . If you will put the Michelin Tire that's a different story . You're sprinter will look nice , elegant and driving very quiet .

The first thing we did was put an Air Locker in it when we did the suspension, it's a great rig!
@@adrenaline-hq-usa Really nice work. Great video.
@@bradh7472 thanks man!
Excellent explanation! I just started looking at a Dually Sprinter and this video explains a lot. 👍
Glad it helped!

Aesthetics baby! You are the bomb! From your WI Northwoods gal pals!
Thanks so much, sister! We appreciate you!!
Love it. Those rear deep dually wheels though 😮😮😮
Thanks so much 👊🏼
Looks awesome. Another inch on the front wouldve been nice to level it out better. Maybe stiffer coils would fix that
Looks great

We reprogrammed the ECU and additionally added a speedo calibration module. No issues shifting and spot on speedo readings compared to GPS. 👌🏼

Love the new look!
What’s the torque specs for the rear wheels?
Hey! 133lb/ft for the torque on 901s!
@@adrenaline-hq-usa thanks

What are your thoughts on adding dual rear axel to a 2500? Looks like it would be easy conversion on the front. Truly appreciate the knowledge.

I put he same size on my Sprinter 906 with a Evo Corse rings.
I'll bet that is a great looking combination.
no worries with ABS and diff. diameters front/rear?
No issues there, we are able to program around the different sizes and make ABS/ABA and cruise all function normally.
Phoenix!!!
strawberry SB are the jam. No mood required.
Hell ya 👊🏼
Would hub-centric spacers not be a good idea? I’ve got a 170 2wd and I’m about to lift/suspension and 285’s.
I’ve never seen hub centric for the Sprinter. I’m assuming you’re running super single wheels then with the 285’s?
Was that a 2in lift on all four corners? Curious if the two inch blocks were added to the rear leaf springs.
Yes, this has the 2" blocks in the rear as well as the 2" lift in the front.
Do you think an RWD dully with a locker has the same off-road capability as a 4WD?
there's no rubbing on the subframe with full steering lock left and right?
No rubbing on the subframe 🙌🏻
Looks beefy manly tires & rims can set anything off
Agreed. Wheels and tires change the whole vehicle!
