-Bleach
-Blue detergent
-Cold water
Wash laces in the cold water with the soap (pay attention to stubborn stains).
Leave the laces in cold water with blue detergent and bleach for a while (pay attention to stubborn stains).
Wash with hand soap and cold water.

I have bright yellow ones which are not so bright now .. should I avoid bleach?

The bleach will leave the colour looking patchy, so I'd stick with dish soap and water. The only way to get them back to a vibrant yellow would be to dye them, so you may be better off getting a new set! Good luck 👍
