- Asalamu'alaikum all, as ramadan draws near with just over a week to go, i wanted to share with you some cleaning motivation to get your home deep cleaned and ready for ramadan 2023 so that we can reserve the energy saved and utilise it for extra good acts of worship so join me whilst cleaning your home too.

I have a 1 month old. And I completely understand the slacking on the cleaning while pregnant 😂 I too am deep cleaning before Ramadan starts. I’m choosing a room everyday to focus on so I don’t get overwhelmed.

Motivation video sus Jazakallah. Btw I highly recommend the Cilit Bang Black mould remover spray. Trick is to pour boiling water from the kettle on the surface and add tge spray and just leave it there. It will remove itself. You can do a wipe down with a toothbrush etc.

Hi sister just from my experience I used to have that mold but I clean it every week only wit bleach or javel and dish soap. I worked. It eventually disappeared. You can try.

The Bang mould remover works in munites on mould. And you need to ventilate it.
It is quite strong chemical smell. It works on walls too and everywhere

There actually is a fab product called elbow grease too! It' comes in a spray form and also in a paste form and it is magical for cleaning, defo try it out! literally it cleans those stubborn stains like kitchen grease and i even clean my sofas with it-honestly i hugely recommend :)

I haven’t prepped much for my kids - just brought chicken nuggets/sausages etc and that’ll make quick meals so easier life 😂

Lol elbow grease is a cleaning product now
Biscuits shouldn't be a problem to eat after the BB date, not the best tasting but still good to eat! Since they'll probably be soft maybe make some kind of biscuit dessert. I also need to sort out the mould in my bathroom, so much tissue but it needs to be done! Ramadan mubarak in advance ✨

Salam allaykum my sister. All the things that you got from Africa, you can put them in the deep freezer. They will last very long. That's how I keep my African food. All the powder stuff ❤️

I would suggest using apple cider vinegar and baking soda mixture to clean mold. It eats through mold much faster and it's non-toxic. I've used it for years.

It’s called: Troll White retro crib, multiple places sell it online so look around for the best price, Next and Argos are a few that carry it. A warning though is that it is pretty narrow so will probably not last longer than the newborn phase. It is made of quality wood though.
Assalamulkium Jazaakallaahu Khyran for sharing. Do you have a recipe using the ground okra? My husband is from Gambia and he brought some but I haven’t found a way to use it besides putting it inside soups.
Salam Sister, sorry for butting in, I am from Senegal and we share quite a lot with our Gambian relatives. Supu kanja and Mafay kanja are 2 dishes you can use okra in. Kanja=okra

Walaikumsalam, I make it as it’s own soup. So boil some water and seasoning to it so it’s very flavourful then add the dried okra to a consistency that you are happy with and throw in some fried fish/meat of your choice. It’s quite tasty if your seasoning is good. We serve it with any type of fufu.

You can try the dry cleaners. They can clean it for you without washing it.

How do you keep your fabric sofa spotless?
The seat cushions and back cushions are removable and washable so I remove and wash it every now and again.

I recently bought fabric sofas, and have been using throws as I'm afraid of getting them dirty(throws can be quite annoying!).On a separate note, I have been viewing your content for years and find them highly useful, I pray Allah swt rewards you for your efforts x
@@11jahan yes, throws on the sofa can stop you from enjoying the sofa. Next time look out to see if the seat cushions have zips, that way, they can be removed and washed I think that’s essential for fabric sofas. Thank you for your support ❤
