Story Time: My first copy of Ruby was from a simpler time before bills and I remember it well. Named myself Fitz's because it was my favorite local restaurant. I remember playing and breading and loving every second with the game. Well gen 4 comes out and I start playing through the game like everyone else. Somewhere along the line I lost my original copy of ruby. I thought for the longest time everything from that first playthrough was lost. But Pokemon home has a feature where you can organize Pokemon by original trainer. I thought it was a neat feature and went exploring. Low and behold I find the OT Fitz's. Memory's of old times and my first ever starter that I thought lost to time had come back and I'm man enough to say I cried a little.
I love home. I have a electivire, which was o.c. a elecabuzz back in his fire red/emerald days. He was carried through every gen an got his hands to be bands( contest, league, tower, the platinum expensive ones etc.) Happy to know that i can carry him further
I’ve done my own living dex a while ago in my first Pokémon game (Moon) and it was totally worth it and I felt so accomplished after finishing it since it was almost entirely legit (besides a few mythicals)

I still found it strange with Castform's shiny variants default Castform always had a shiny form since gen 3 but Sunny, Snowy and Rainy Castform never had a shiny form since gen 3 until gen 8 arrived Idk why it took Gamefreak this many gens until they gave Castform's alts a shiny form, you'd think they have gotten one during gen 6 or 7
Reminds me of the time my friend got a used copy of Pokemon diamond with a seemingly legit Darkrai on it. But he deleted the save file so he could play through the game without transferring it first. This was long after the event ended.

The oldest pokemon I have on home is a Rayquaza from my original run through Emerald. I have had that Rayquaza since 2005 and I thought it, along with the rest of my old Hoenn pokemon, were stuck on My Pokemon Ranch on the Wii. I had reset my copy of diamond and I didn't know you couldn't transfer those pokemon back from the ranch once you reset the save file.

The oldest pokemon I have on home is a Rayquaza from my original run through Emerald. I have had that Rayquaza since 2005 and I thought it, along with the rest of my old Hoenn pokemon, were stuck on My Pokemon Ranch on the Wii. I had reset my copy of diamond and I didn't know you couldn't transfer those pokemon back from the ranch once you reset the save file.
How did you get them back?
@@tonybrewer7536 Truth be told, I don't remember. Somehow, I still have that Rayquaza though...maybe I transferred it back before I reset the save file? All of the other pokemon from that file are still on the ranch

I know it has been a while and people probably figured it out but those castforms are from his beating Alpha Sapphire with only castform video. He mentioned how he hatched the best one he could find and tried for a shiny. Those must be the rejects.
